FreezePaw instantly let out a small mewl, but quickly shortened it up so she wouldn't scare LarkPaw away, and wagged her tail a bit. "Okay! This way! It's my big brothers favorite place to hunt birds!" She said and led Larkpaw to a place nearby the Honey Hunting spot. At first, it seemed like there was nothing there but tree's, but FreezePaw had crouched down... And skillfully leapt into a tree. At first, there was a struggle, then a bird dropped down lifelessly from the tree and sat down proudly. "Give it a try!" She purred out, grabbing the bird and hiding back into the tall grass as best she could, but her very white pelt did slightly stand out.

Larkpaw stared at the lifeless prey at his feet. He gaped his jaws, amazed by her skills in the tree. But, he shook his head. "No can do, I can't climb trees very well. Or at least, without eventually falling from it." he admitted.

A small frown kinda crossed her face, but she then flicked up her ears at a rabbit, and it seemed to be.. somewhat hurt?
Or perhaps it was young, but it was still plump, and small. "What about the Rabbit over there?? You have to be good at something when it comes to hunting." She sat down and basically recited what her brother told her. If the other Apprentice couldn't hunt Rabbits, then she would show him, at least what she knows, how to get a squirrel, or something that stays on land. "Tomorrow if you and SnapClaw are coming out, LionFeather could try to teach you how to get birds mid-flight! At least you know how to jump, right?"

(I'm probably gonna go to sleep at 2 AM XD Still not sleepy)

"Of course I know how to hunt a rabbit! Let alone an injured one!" he protested, unbelieving that he was assumed to not be able to hunt in general. He whipped around to face the scrawny rabbit. Casting a sideways glance at Freezepaw, he dropped into a crouch, mastered in all ways except for his tail, which was poking out from the rest. He gingerly put a paw in front of the other, careful not to step on any dried leaves. Within a few moments, he was close enough to pounce on the rabbit. Checking his weight on his haunches to make sure he wasn't unbalanced, he lept onto the unexpecting rabbit. Larkpaw broke its spine swiftly, preventing a close kick to his chest. "Bet you couldn't catch a mouse better than that!" he challenged.

FreezePaw watched LarkPaw catch the Rabbit with no difficulty and smirked. She was pretty impressed with his sneaking skills, but then he issued a challenge, and if you ever got to know FreezePaw more, she absolutely loved to do challenges. "Heh, I accept your Challenge, Larkie." She smirked at him as she walked over, then sat down. "Though... Do you know where any mice spots are?" She said, tilting her head a bit. The soft buzz of a bee kinda distracted her, and she quickly ran back and grabbed her kill, trotting back over to the other Apprentice.

(I'm going to bed ;u; I kinda sleep deeper than i should so i'll probably miss some posts!)

"I don't think I gave you permission to title me 'Larkie'." he grouched. "Anyway, you've past the challenge to catch a measly mouse. Good job, but what about hares? Are you fast enough to catch one if you alarm it?" he challenged yet again.

Tigerstep shook his head as he watched his apprentice chat away. He turned around to find a clear, sunny spot and plopped onto it, letting the sun warm his pelt. (Tigerstep would report, but seeing that Maplestar is busty...)

Sorrelcloud watched with a nervous glint in her eyes as Snapclaw asked Maplestar to talk. Instead of saying anything, she turned to Fawnleap, giving her ear a friendly lick. "At least Starclan didn't take you yet! But next time you do something like that, I want you to tell me first." She purred, swatting Fawnleap's ear gently, "I might want a little piece of it too."

Russetpaw glanced up from her shredded leaf, tail high. "What..." Her eyes widened when she saw her mentor's nose. "What happened?!" She rested her feathery red tail on his back, her eyes swarming with confusion and worry. "Did you hit it on a branch? Or was it a rouge? If it was, I'll shred them..."

Snapclaw let out a growl padding off into the forest.
His muscles tensed when he heard Larkpaw and Freezepaw.
He heard them talking about trying to catch a hare.
He tensed, then jumped out.
"NO! I CAN'T AFFORD TO LOOSE ANY APPRENTICES!"
He truly did look frightened for their safety.
"Hares can break a cat's spine with their powerful kicks... Please don't do it guys... I know you BOTH know better than this..."

{OOC- i have a basketball camp starting today that goes from 1pm-4pm (its 11:25 for me here - Centeral Time) so i wont be active between those parts of the day.}

Finchwhisker shook his head, "S-Snapclaw" he muttered. As his apprentice but her tail on his back he flinched a bit,
then raised his on tail and allowed them to intertwine. "Thanks Russ-set paw" He smiled, his eyes gleaming with pride for him apprentice. How Russetpaw was so willing to help, it'll make her such a good clanmate for everyone.
