Murderers in Riverclan V.2 [Roster Update 10/30]

The Clan was so small. That was all that Willowstar
could think. She hadn't wanted to take on
a leader name, but needed to for the Clan.
But now her clanmates were voting her.
Bowing her head, Willowstar trudged away,
not looking where she was going.
She slipped by the gorge, barely clinging
onto the side of it.

'Dawnpaw, from today you shall be known
as Dawncloud. We value your integrity
and loyalty.' Acorntail announced, eyes
full of hurt.
She didn't take on a leader name.

Another of your leaders are gone!
You're very low on cats now, RiverClan.
Dawnpaw is promoted to a warrior, Sneezecloud
becomes the deputy and Galecloud is permitted
to stay as a queen.

Dawncloud didn't speak much. He never felt like he
needed to. And he had the strange feeling
that some cat was following him. Two, in
fact.
Dawncloud walked through the RiverClan
territory silently, his paws barely making
a sound on the floor.
Rocks rumbled over his head.
A cat pushed all of their weight into
him and he fell to the side. Eyes bleary,
he tried to get a good look at his attacker,
but they were locked in battle with
another. Dawncloud closed his eyes with
a soft sigh as the two cats quieted and
disappeared.
Maybe he'd stay there for the night.
The guard protected Dawncloud!
You're safe for another night.

Beavertail shivered for warmth inside the warriors den. It was getting lonelier, and lonelier as more and more cats either died or were exiled from the clan. He and Dawncloud were the only cats left - that as well as his brother Sneezecloud who still slept in the den, however not as a warrior but as a deputy. Today the den was empty. Sneezecloud had already been called out to attend to his duties as deputy but Dawncloud... he was missing.

Galecloud lay in her nest, her chin tucked over the edge of her reed mattress as she stared at the camp clearing. She was certain they haad finally exiled the killer. They must have. Because so far, no one was dead. ...Right?

Dawncloud woke up both the tiredness and pain surging through his body. Sitting up he looked around to see no one. 5 cats from Riverclan were left and still he had no clue who the murderers was. He knew he was stupid. It would be a shame to choose a innocent or someone that had saved him to execution, but he had no clue who the murderers were. He decided to give himself a small shot on who the murderer is. Dawncloud padded away back to his group silently greeting someone randomly.

Acorntail disappeared later that night.
After Dawncloud had been found, sleeping
alone and reporting in quiet words what
had happened to him, Acorntail heard the
calls for her to leave, and she complied.
No cat knew where she was, but
Sneezecloud appointed the only capable
warrior as the new deputy, Beavertail.
The Clan was in pieces, Galecloud
barely spoke or ate, and they struggled
to get through the moons. Gatherings
with the other Clans were awkward, as
the current leader had to explain why the
Clan was so small.

Dawncloud was very skeptical of going out alone,
especially after almost being crushed.
That was why he didn't fully understand
why he was out for a hunt that night.
It was shadowed all night, and he
concentrated on his prey so hard he didn't
notice the killer slinking up to him,
twitching nervously. They shook their head
and brought their claws down on his head,
stunning him.
Dawncloud staggered to the side, being
knocked over by the killer headbutting him.
Your guard didn't get there in time!
