Sure, he trained hard, but he'd get distracted by some cat or even his own thoughts. Thankfully, this didn't stop him from becoming a great warrior, and he was named Briarleap after his great jumping abilities.

Unlike her brother however, she never developed any particular vanity because of it and was very focused as an apprentice. She took training seriously, but wasn't against a little bit of flirting here and there, that part makes them similar. Emberswift had one skill that made her stand out though, while Briarleap's could really jump, Emberswift was very fast. This of course, is why she was named Emberswift.
