I looked down at the ground, kind of feeling awkward that I made Echo
change the subject. "Are you sure? I feel like it's a time to leave you cats
alone.. to talk." I explained with a serious tone. I glanced at the ginger tom
once more and knew that there had to be a relationship between the cats. Echo was
changing the subject, and Breeze was in deep thought. What is happening? I thought
this would just be a regular talk between the 2 leaders, but then it turned into a fight,
and now cats are staring at each other like they've known each other forever.

Darkness kept her own tail still. She glared at the back of the tom's head, daring him to turn around and fight her. She who had fought since she was born! She who had rebuilt this group of cats from the ground up! Yes, Darkness wanted to fight, wanted bloodshed. Then she thought about it. Darkness knew she could take him, but what about her clan? Did she really want to destroy what she had worked so hard to create with a war? "Get out of this place, you mange pelts!" she snapped fiercely. "And don't threaten my family again," she added.

Echo

Echo smiled brightly. "No, it's fine. We were just talking about battle practice!" she said with false cheerfulness. Please don't leave me alone with her to talk! she pleaded silently with her eyes.

Good thing I saw Echo 's plead in her eyes because I was about to leave and talk
to Rex. Knowing I could stay, I sat down beside Echo and felt a weight come off my
shoulders when the group of cats left. Phew. There must be no relationship between
the cats, because you would think they would stay to talk! I had thoughts rolling in my
head and felt bad I wasn't talking to Echo, so I started a conversation about what happened
when she was a trainee. "So, Echo. How long did it take you to become a fighter? Was being
a trainee fun? I want to become a fighter when I learn more skills!"

Darkness sighed as the enemy cats left, her ears returned to their upright position and she sheathed her claws. Deep inside, she was worried about what would become of the meeting. She knew that it hadn't gone very well, but that was what those flea-pelts got for marching into her camp! "Saber, what do you think is going to become of this?" Darkness asked curiously.

Echo noted out of the corner of her eye that Sunstorm was leaving, but she didn't acknowledge it. "Being a trainee was a blast! It's kind of crazy how fast it all went when you look back on it. It took me about 7 or 8 moons to finish my training, so about average," Echo shrugged in response.

Saber thought about Darknesses' question for a moment, then responded with the usual crazy look in her eyes "I don't know but it most certainly won't be good"

Darkness laughed humorlessly. She knew it was time for action, finally, after years of Boneclan being outcasts. It was time, soon, to take back their forest. The land of green, bird song, and fresh scent. Their home. "I think I know what I'm going to do about it," Darkness paused, "It's time for serious training, we need to teach the trainees instead of letting them teach themselves."

Darkness grinned at her friend, it was incredible how well they got along in times of crisis. "Right now. We haven't got any time to waste!" she said as she leapt onto Big Rock. "All cats gather round the Big Rock for a meeting!" she yowled. Darkness motioned for Saber to sit beside her.
