She meowed "I was just thinking of that." Her smile felt real on the outside but on the inside it seemed kind of fake. She meowed "Lets hope Aridstar picks us" She went to sit a closer into the patrol.


Mink

He meowed "Oh! well, I have a scar from a hawk." He spread out the fur behind his neck to show three nasty scras, he meowed "Luckily I survived and you now that cat Minnowpaw? I think im her cousin. Mother talked about someone who said she had a kit named Minnowpaw and maybe someday we could meet eachother and be like super besties! like me and you can be!" He smiled and meowed "Maybe I can join the patrol actually... Should I?"

"Well its up to you." She said softly. The scars looked like it had hurt a lot and she wasn't crazy about the idea of fighting a hawk. "I've never fought a hawk before or seen it up close. Only when they are flying high up in the sky." When he spoke of a possible cousin, he glanced over at Minnowpaw. "Maybe. You could always ask her about it."

Letting out a soft purr, he looked over to Aridstar,"I want to volunteer for the patrol! I promise I won't try to fight the hawk!" He called out, jumping slightly so he could be seen over some of the taller cats.

She jumped up meowing "I do to!" Seeing Mink pad over she meowed "Oh hi!" Her tail flicked and when he meowed "I think were cousins, my mom had a family member who lived in the clan and she named her kit Minnowkit. So I think were cousins! Yay?" She meowed "Really? which means I have three family members!" She looked at Robinpaw and yipped "I have a relative here!"

Mink

He smiled shyly at how excited Minnowpaw got. His tail flicked and he looked at Manglepaw, he meowed looking back at them "Umm. Well, I just wanted to say that and also. What age can you be to join the patrol?"

the kitty pet responded with a genuine smile to icestorm's reassurance that at least some cat would like her, and the tap with her tail made it even better as it was quite a friendly action. princess let out a laugh at icestorm's comment about her twoleg owners not treating her well, it couldn't have been more opposite. "they treat me too well. all I want to do is run and hunt, but they don't let me," she explained in exasperation, rolling her eyes. the smell of cats was growing stronger and she began to grow excited. "are we nearly there?"

Ashfeather

Ashfeather batted a ball of moss between her two paws, bored. She had awaken, and quite frankly didn't want to be in the medicine cat den. She was eager to go and do something, it didn't have to be something big. Only in here for a short time and already suffering from inactivity. How could she last much longer? Shifting restlessly, she stared outside, willing it to come to her.

Creamflower is eating a fish from the fresh-kill pile, savoring the delicious taste. She scans the clearing, seeing whose up and about this morning.

Zorro

Trotted along the forest trees looking for something to do or someone to talk to. He felt his stomach rumble but didn't mind as he was used to not eating frequently. But then he spotted a rabbit and decided to go for it. He pounced upon the plush creature and started knawing on it.


Cloudygaze


She was in camp laying down. Being as she can't see all that well she stood up and guided herself along a tree to find her den. Once found she trotted inside and lay down.

Shadowpaw

He glared at her and shook his head. Staying in that position for a little until he finally said, "Fine, ill go catch my own." with that he trotted in the forests way. Hoping to not meet up with her again.



Nyxpaw

She nodded, "Yeah I'm fine, I'm sorry I ran into you both. Want expecting that to happen.." she gave a weak chuckle knowing one of the cats don't like her too well.

She pinned her ears back as she knew she was too young to join. She wanted to go along but doubted they would allow her. They might think she would be an easy target with her paw. "I'm going to get something to eat." She said softly before padding over to the fresh-kill pile.

"You have to at least be ten moons," he replied to Mink's question. "But I'm not sure if they will let you join since you aren't a part of the clan." He said, trying to be truthful. Looking over at Manglepaw, he watched her go to grab some food and was secretly glad she couldn't come. He would hate for the hawk to carry her away as she was rather thin and doubted she could fight it off.

Seeing camp, she quickened her pace a little. "Yes. It's right there." She said as she led the way. "Remember what I told you," she softly stated before pushing her way into camp and waiting for Princess to follow her so she could let Aridstar know. It was ultimately the leaders decision if she could join or not.

Minnowpaw

She shrugged and padded off, she stopped a few tail lengths behind Falconwing and stared at his back, she imagined him turning around and smile, him running over to her and asking her if she wanted to go hunt or play hide and seek. She looked at her paws and wondered why her aggressiveness never really came out at Falconwing the right way. She always ended up crying or yelling, it was awful. She huffed and bared her teeth and stomped up to Falconwing and she snapped in his face without drawing attention "Why do you have such a problem with me nuzzling my cousin? Am I not aloud to be around other males or something? Because it kind of feels like you don't really care about me anymore... Do you even feel the same way you did? Over a tiny little thing I did to my cousin? My relative?" Her tail lashed and said before he could speak "I still love you... Even if you made a crack form inside me."

Aridstar nodded to Silverholly, "Yes, you both may. Everybody else knows their jobs. The nest is not too far away so we will not need to get any herbs." Aridstar stood up, looking at everyone with a serious face. "Silverholly and Jaggedbreeze, please lead the patrol on the way there. That way theres a better chance of getting no scents of the cats in the patrol mingled wit the hawks scent. Look for blood that may have dripped from the rabbit it was carrying as well." She flicked her tail in the direction of the camp entrance to signal for them to leave.

Jaggedbreeze nodded to everything Aridstar said, and immediately was moving her paws once she flicked her tail. Jaggedbreeze timidly stood at the front of the patrol while they headed out, keeping all senses on high alert in case she picked up something. She stole a glance at Silverholly who was next to her before looking straight ahead again.

Owleyes attention immediately diverted to Littlesprout when she suddenly called out his name. Owleyes rubbed his head against hers, blushing a bit. "No, that's fine! A missing clan mate is more important that figuring out if a friend was okay" it was almost hard for him to say friend, because he wished to be closer than that. "I was worried about you as well. It was too hard to spot anybody in the crowd of cats exiting the dens" he meowed. When he noticed tears were welling up in her eyes, he brushed her flank with his tail and licked her cheek. "You should be happy we are both okay! Not sad" he spoke happily as he smiled.

Flame nodded to Hawktalon's response. However, he did not know which cat was the leader. Flame looked around curiously before awkwardly asking, "So which most likely intimidating cat are we talking about here?" Most of the clan seemed intimidating. They all looked very strong and gave him cold glances.

Hazestrike laid down, enjoying the warm suns rays. He set his head on his paws. The heat felt so nice on his fur that he could fall asleep. But he couldn't sleep until he knew that foul hawk was never going to disrupt the clan ever again.
