princess decided that this was the moment to make a decision that would potentially change her life forever. "I'd like to join the clan," the kittypet explained, surprised by the confidence in her voice. she knew she would be leaving behind the life she'd always known, but she was sick of it. she wanted to be free and explore and live her life to the fullest.

Mink

When got pinned he meowed "Never under estimate your opponent either." He pushed up with his back paws, lifting her but not launching her off, he then released but slid out of the way and stood tall, his gaze denied how he was standing as if to not fight, but he to her it was practicing. His tail flicked and he crouched meowing "Would you like to practice?"

Zorro

Trotted along the forest trees looking for something to do or someone to talk to. He felt his stomach rumble but didn't mind as he was used to not eating frequently. But then he spotted a rabbit and decided to go for it. He pounced upon the plush creature and started knawing on it.


Cloudygaze


She was in camp laying down. Being as she can't see all that well she stood up and guided herself along a tree to find her den. Once found she trotted inside and lay down.

Shadowpaw

He glared at her and shook his head. Staying in that position for a little until he finally said, "Fine, ill go catch my own." with that he trotted in the forests way. Hoping to not meet up with her again.



Nyxpaw

She nodded, "Yeah I'm fine, I'm sorry I ran into you both. Want expecting that to happen.." she gave a weak chuckle knowing one of the cats don't like her too well.

The sleek black tom was about to reply to Fruzefoot, smiling, as Clearsight showed up. "Aren't you supposed to be in the medicine cat den, Clearsight?" He gave her a stern look, nudging her back towards the den.

The mostly white silver tabby turned around at Aridstar's appearance, she flicked an ear in greeting before speaking. "What brings you here?" She narrowed her eyes at Clearsight, not wanting her leave the den. "I swear she'll end up with no ears by the time I'm done with her." She muttered, before noticing where she was. Mouse-brained she-cat, can't even stay where she's put.

The pale gray tabby sent her a bright smile, before it was rudely interrupted by a tail in her face. She abruptly glared at her half-brother, as he completely ignored her. How petty. And it's not even my fault he doesn't like me.

The blackish brown tabby tom patiently waited for the hawk patrol to begin tracking the hawk. He hoped it was soon, as he needed something to distract him. He began humming quietly to himself, still waiting.

The brown and white tabby tom cleared his throat, before turning to Flame. "Thank you, Flame. For helping carry Ashfeather back to camp."

Squeaking when she was lifted by his back legs, her paws flailed a bit before she was dropped back down and he slid out from under her. Dropping back down, she pinned her ears back slightly. "I'm not very good though." She mewed softly.

Shocked by the statement, her amber gaze watched the other for a moment before letting out a soft sigh. "Well we can ask our leader Aridstar but its up to her if you can join. Follow me and stay close. I don't want an alligator attacking you." She said as she moved forward, heading back towards camp. "Now make sure to be polite when you meet our leader. She makes decisions for the clans and what she says goes."

Aridstar stopped mid-way on her way to the den. Cats were beginning to exit, along with that loner she had never seen. As she thought harder, the cats pelt looked quite similar to one of her kit-hood friends. It struck her, that she was right. It was one of her kit-hood friends. She had met up with them a few times every moon at the same spot and hung out for the day. They stopped showing up however, but Aridstar had still waited for him for moons until she decided to ask his littermates why he stopped showing up. They had told her that he ran away with out telling, at least thats what they had assumed because they hadn't seen him for a long time. I will send the patrol out and then deal with all this nonsense. She begun heading back to the patrol, contemplating who would be sent out. Possibly all of them since not a lot had gathered.

Aridstar sat in front of the patrol and curled her tail around her paws. "We need a couple cats to track down and find the hawk, the apprentices to keep guard and warn cats in case the hawk attacks. If something goes wrong, an apprentice will deliver the message to camp. Do not even think about getting involved with the hawk unless you want to be stuck changing everyone's bedding yourself all winter long. The rest of you will attack the hawk on the ground. The cats who track down the hawk will focus on attacking from above ground, in the trees" she looked at them, waiting to see if anybody volunteered for one of the jobs.

Jaggedbreeze soundlessly giggled when Silverholly's brother shoved his tail in her face. Her attention was caught by Aridstar walking back over. She listened to her long talk and thought for a moment. She bit her tongue. How do I say I want to track down the hawk? Jaggedbreeze scratched the ground to get her sisters attention. When she had it,
she did nothing. Simply because there was no possible way to. After a moment of thinking, Jaggedbreeze looked around at the sky, as if looking for a hawk. Hopefully her sister would understand that.

"Dear tummy, sorry about the butterflies.

Owleyes attention immediately diverted to Littlesprout when she suddenly called out his name. Owleyes rubbed his head against hers, blushing a bit. "No, that's fine! A missing clan mate is more important that figuring out if a friend was okay" it was almost hard for him to say friend, because he wished to be closer than that. "I was worried about you as well. It was too hard to spot anybody in the crowd of cats exiting the dens" he meowed. When he noticed tears were welling up in her eyes, he brushed her flank with his tail and licked her cheek. "You should be happy we are both okay! Not sad" he spoke happily as he smiled.

Flame turned his head to face Hawktalon as he cleared his throat. "Oh, its no problem" he meowed, paws itching to know if Ashfeather was going to be alright by the time she woke up. If I want to know, I can't just leave! "Oh, uhm. Hey Hawktalon. Do you think its alright if I stayed here for a bit. J-just to see if Ashfeather's alright by the time she wakes up" he spoke nervously, feeling weird to ask the question because he was inviting himself to stay with the clan for the time being.

Hazestrike kept alert in case the foul hawk came swooping back. He sat down by himself in the camp,
staring at the sky. He was disrupted by quick footsteps leading to the medicine cats den, along with the scent on an unfamiliar cat. He shot his gaze to the unfamiliar cat, and immediately he knew they meant no harm. This was well clear because of the way he was acting, not to mention he was carrying a clan mate on their back. Hazestrike realized the clan mate on his back was injured. He wanted to go check in on the injured cat, but he already saw cats heading to the medicine cats den, so he knew he would just be a bother.

The blackish brown tabby tom listened carefully to Aridstar, flicking his tail tip. After Silverholly was done speaking, he commented. "Oh, and if I attacked the hawk after you two were done?"

The brown and white tabby tom gave him a small smile. "I think it's perfectly fine if you do. But, of course, we'll have to confirm it with our leader, Aridstar."

Clearsight

he meowed "But I want to stay with you, its so boring in there... Please! I promise I wont hurt myself." Clearsight flicked her tail stubbornly as she looked at him.

Minnowpaw

She toughened up and growled standing up she hardened herself and blanked out her sadness, she sat a far ways from Falconwing not noticing that a slight gap could allow him to see her, she felt like joining the patrol, she could care less if she died even if she wasn't attacking.

Mink

He plopped down on his belly rumbling "Then i'll wait till your better, show me some move with your imaginary enemy. it's quiet fascinating to watch you fight." He looked at her calmly with a grin and a twitch of his ear.

the kitty pet blinked in surprise at the warrior's positive response to her spontaneous decision before letting out a purr of pure excitement, following the she-cat eagerly. "what's your name," she asked, almost shyly. the concept of her living with the clan cats was beginning to terrify her. what if they didn't like her? what if she wasn't good at hunting? "do you think the other cats will like me?" she asked, her doubts starting to weigh her down.

"I wouldn't mind helping to attack the hawk." The tom stated as he knew his heavier weight could help to possibly bring it closer to the ground. Some hawks were big enough to carry lighter cats and they didn't need to lose a clan mate that way. Silverholly and Jaggedbreeze weren't built as sturdy as he was.

"I'm Icestorm," she replied with a small smile. "Well, I won't lie and say everyone will like you. A few might not trust you but some will be welcoming. I'm sure my brother Thorntail will easily talk to you and other cats can be friendly. Don't take it personally if some don't want to talk." She lightly flicked Princess on the shoulder with her tail. "So, princess right, why do you want to join the clan? Are the two-legs not treating you well?"

Pinning her ears back, she let out a nervous laugh. "I don't know. I haven't been training very long and I have to change the moves a bit to accommodate my paw." Her paw was starting to feel a bit stiff already so she knew it was time to give it a rest. Ear twitching, she glanced over at the patrol. "I wish I could join but I'm not old enough. Did you have to deal with hawks a lot?"

The tom bounded over to Minnowpaw and lightly nudged her shoulder with his head. "Why don't we join the patrol? We are both old enough and they need someone fast like you to warn the clan if anything happens." He had noticed she seemed agitated so he hoped this would help.
