Pepperpaw had caught a mouse and was now stalking the vole. She crouched in the tall shrubs and leaped, her claws extended, but the vole shot down a hole and Pepperpaw skidded to a halt, her front paws dipped into the shallows of a small river. She let out a hiss and backed out of the water.

"Yes but we are Forestclan!" Marlepaw meowed. "I need to go now anyway though, see you around" he meowed hearing Pepperpaws hiss. He picked up the thrush and disappeared into the bushes towards the noise. "What's wrong?" he asked to Pepperpaw with a mouthful of thrush.

Whiteleaf stood up from the warriors den, glancing a fearful look at the sleeping Bloodfur, he had been threatening him for weeks. Normally Whiteleaf would ignore the threats yet recently the threats had gotten particularly bad. He made a quick exit.

Bloodfur opened his eyes as Whiteleaf walked out of the den and scowled. "Pathetic coward" he hissed. Under his breath. It was him that should be deputy, not Whiteleaf.

Pepperpaw lifted her wet paw and shook it vigerously, small drops of water flew off and landed by Marblepaw. 'Water!' She shivered and filcked her ears. 'Nice catch.' Her mouth twitched into a smile.

Nightshade came trotting though the bushes. 'Come on!' He purred, his mouth full of prey. 'We should get back.' He turned and walked back to camp.
Pepperpaw nodded to Nightshade and picked up her fat mouse before padding silently after her brother.

Marblepaw muttered a "Thanks" to Pepperpaw and then began to follow Nightshade back. "We should leave for the journey soon you know..." he whispered in Pepperoaw's ear, his pelt bristling against hers. "Do you want to get Orchidpaw, Scarpaw,Featherpaw and Pepperpaw together?" he whispered.

Pepperpaw shrugged, 'I supose so.' She said, her heart skipping a beat as his scent wafted into her nostrals.
Nightshade soon reached camp and set his kill on the pile, he jumped onto a rock, letting the suns rays warm him up.

(I have to go now, I don't know how long for though ^^; )

Marblepaw purred slightly and when he got to camp he dropped off his thrush and padded over to Spiderpaw and Featherpaw. "Weareleaving soon" he whispered. He then padded over to Orchidpaw and Scarpaw and said the same thing.

Featherpaw nodded, "Ok, sure! Come on Spiderpaw, lets go!" She said, licking Spiderpaws' cheek.

Marblepaw bounded up to Featherpaw and Spiderpaw, Orchidpaw,Scarpaw and Pepperpaw not far behind him. "Ready to set out?" he meowed.
