Dandelionbloom lost both her balance and her train of thought, neither of which were particularly notable, as Tux pulled away. It was disappointing he would leave her like that but she kept a grin on her face. What was it that Brushfire had said? Such a pretty face deserves to wear a smile, not a frown. She'd barely talked to him back at camp, but he had been an awfully nice tom to her. Forget Flaxpool's warnings and Frostsong's scorn of romance- Dandelionbloom wanted a tom who would coddle and love her. She wanted a romance like her parents'. He mind was so side-tracked by dreams of love that her answer to Wildpoppy's question came out nearly monosyllabic. "Better. Better now at least." She sighed and kept staring at the spot where Tux had disappeared.

Sorrelstar had barely been up to coming to this moon's gathering. For some reason she had been feeling rather lethargic, perhaps grief and overwork had had more of an impact on her health than she had thought. Still, the Beechclan leader perked up as a tortie leader approached her. She recognised that tone of voice of course she did. Sorrelstar used it all the time after all. This she-cat knows what she's doing. Getting on her good side wouldn't hurt. The leader grinned, feeling her energy return as the game presented itself once again. "Strong?" The she-cat adopted her high mew and bubbly giggle. "If Beechclan is strong it's only because of our friends!" She grinned meaningfully at Mintstar as she said this. "I'm Sorrelstar! I haven't seen you around- who're you?"

She should've expected that someone would want to speak to her at some point, yet hearing a voice directed towards her still sent unwanted prickles of anxiety down her spine. Luckily for her, Mintstar had become good at hiding her true emotions, so she turned to face the unfamiliar leader with a neutral expression as the molly made her way up to where she and Sorrelstar were seated. "I'm Mintstar of PineClan." She mewed, dipping her head in greeting and a smile tugged at the end of her mouth as calico mentioned how strong she was, clearly Mintstar was doing something right here. The PineClan leader then blinked in confusion over Sorrelstar's bubbly giggle and the grin that was directed to her afterwards, but she didn't say anything.

Rowanpelt felt the fur on his neck spike up as Yinpelt raised his voice loud enough for the other cats surrounding them to hear to accuse him of simply being jealous over the so-called love he shared with Velvetrabbit while putting on a convincing, hurtful tone to his voice that made some cats stare at the deputy with disapproving looks on their faces. Rowanpelt didn't turn to face him this time, knowing that if he did he would definitely cause a fight, but he growled under his breath as he made his way towards the other deputies and sat down further away from them. He caught the concerned eye of Willowbolt, but he did nothing to speak to her.

Juniperpaw lazily licked his fore paw and drew it over his ear as he watched the other apprentices converse with each other, he wasn't really paying attention to what anyone was saying, nothing of note seemed interesting enough to him.

Ratpaw felt a little out of place as he followed Juniperpaw and Acornpaw to where the other apprentices were, he was a lot older then the typical apprentice was supposed to be, fifteen moons was an age that young warriors were supposed to be - not apprentices. The black tom sighed and resigned to looking around, shuffling his paws awkwardly as he tried to find something to do.

"Echoclan is doing quite well. One of our warriors is sick, but other than that Echoclan is great." Squirrelstar mewed. "Is Sedgeclan doing well?"

"That's great." Squirrelstar purred. "Echoclan is growing pretty fast as well. My granddaughter, Witheredstalk, is having kits! I'm going to be a great grandmother!" She mewed, a fake horrified look on her face.

"That is wonderful to hear, my kits have not yet found that special cat for them,
so I do not have that honor yet. But I think it might happen soon." Jinxstar smiled as he thought about all the time that Blueriver was spending with Frecklesnow recently.

"Hello, Rowanpelt." Willowbolt said as she caustiously approached him, "Look, I want to help."

Willowbolt gave the younger tom a sympathetic look and spoke quietly, "I know that there is something going on between you and Velvetrabbit, and I want you to know that I do not disapprove. I want to help you, judging by what was said, Yinpelt is not in a good stance with this.
I swear on Starclan that I will not tell anyone, please, just let me help you."

Willowbolt looked at her paws then back at him, "Please, swear not to tell anyone,
but there are some pretty big things happening in the clan right now, and it seems that Velvetrabbit has been caught up in them in some way. I want to help her and her kits, so please, let me help you.
Please tell me what is going on between the two or you and let me help."

Stormcloud nodded silently, watching as the two apprentices came bounding back over to him and Yinpelt. Yinpelt took a seat by Stormcloud and started talking to him quietly about everything working out great. Windpaw and Firepaw took refuge by the older cats that they were familiar with, things were getting slightly crowded by the other apprentices.

Wildpoppy snorted slightly at Dandelionbloom when she so easily abandoned the idea of finding her family, but decided not to make a snarky remark like she normally would. The calico settled down next to Tux, leaning into his shoulder. "What's Jinxclan like?"

Dapplewish feels a little put out as the handsome tom pays more attention to the other she-cats showing up, so she slinks off. Maybe she can find Mottledlight and the torbie can comfort her.

He went after her, "Where are you going, Dapplewish?" He asked as he followed her, "I am sorry if you are feeling left out. How about after the gathering we meet up somewhere, then we can have a quiet conversation, just the two of us?"

Tux gave her his best winning smile, not wanting to lose the opportunity to get to know such a pretty she-cat better.

"I am truly sorry, but i do have to get back to the others. Please, just consider my offer about meeting tomorrow night and let me know before the end of the gathering. I really want to get to know you better, I mean that." Tux said with a winning smile as he touched her shoulder with his tail before turning and returning to the others.

Owldust flushed at the compliment from tux and just smiled at him before he walked away after one of the other she cats. Her train of thought was brought back by a question "Today has been great! The clan's grump over slept today and I managed to avoid him the whole day." she giggled. "I swear some toms in my clan have rather big tempers. But how are you doing today?" Owldust chatted away.

Tux resumed his position next to Dandelionbloom, placing a comforting tail across her shoulders.

"Sorry about that, where were we?" Tux asked just as he heard the last part of Owldust's statement, "Well, lucky for all of you that I am a lover, not a fighter.
I doubt that I have a grumpy bone in my body." He joked in a melodious tone.

His eyes sparkled as he looked at each female in turn, giving a quick wink at Dandelionbloom since she seemed like the one that needed the most reassurance in the group. She was going to be a hard one to handle, but if the others were more down-to-earth then her he was sure that he would be able to manage all of them without any hassle.

She smiled wanly at Sorrelstar. Fritillarystar got the sense that this was a wilier cat than she'd originally thought. Curling her tail around her paws, she turned to Mintstar and dipped her head respectfully. ''Greetings to you both, I am Fritillarystar, leader of Moorclan.'' She informed. ''But I am only one cat and look forward to hearing your wisdom.''

Dapplewish hesitates. "I... I don't know... QuartzClan is still fairly small and I don't think I'd be able to safely get away for that long..." she says before he leaves.

Rosetail looks over as someone starts talking to her. "Hi. Who are you?" It's a curious question, not brash.

The tom meowed his thoughts outloud "Briarclan is doing rather well actually, we have two new litter of kits that resulted in three healthy and strong kits. Though we also have three cats from Tumbleclan that bare horrid news of the down fall of that clan. They are doing better though and one of them is here tonight so where in the mix of cats." he went on.

Foxclaw rolled his eyes at Owldust, he thought she was going to stay with him at the gathering but that did not seem to be the case. So he looked around for a different she cat to flirt with and saw an anxious cat who looked as if they were going to flee right there. He smirked slightly before padding towards her "Hello, are you alright?" he purred to her, fake worry was in his voice.

Coppereyes so far hated the gathering, to him it made absolutely no sense. All these clans in the area and they all just had to meet under the moon, it annoyed him. But, he promised Cloudstar he would try to be nice, so he blended into the crowd of cats.

"Briarclan is kinda different! Though I have lived with few cats and it is odd adjusting to clan life. My mentor told me of some odd trial an apprentice must pass before becoming a warrior. We are to spend seven days and seven nights in the whisper tree, kind of a scary looking and sounding tree if you ask me, alone and we can't come down until the eighth day then we have to catch an ermine before sun down on the eighth day. I never asked what would happen if we didn't pass though." Mudpaw shared the trial without think before realizing what he had just shared "Don't tell Cloudstar about what I said, he would have my pelt!" Mudpaw frowned.

Dandelionbloom nearly swooned when Tux winked at her. Just having a tom pay attention to her like this was a dream come true, she didn't even care that Wildpoppy and Owldust were also interested. The way the Jinxclan tom looked at her made Dandelionbloom feel like the only she-cat in the world. She didn't even bother to try and say something with her tongue-tied mouth, instead just leaning in against Tux and relishing in his touch.

"Well isn't it just great to meet you Frilit-Fritil-" Sorrelstar stumbled over the other leader's name, not necessarily on purpose either. She laughed it off though. "Your name is so pretty but soooo long! Can I just call you Frill? So much easier to say! Anyways, it's great to make new friends like you Frill! Beechclan'd be happy to help you out!" One cat huh? Sorrelstar stashed that away for further use. Making an ally of such a small clan didn't promise an immediate pay-off but she could be patient.

The silver tabby padded through the crowd almost aimlessly, keeping an eye on Pinedust and Breezeclaw at all times. None of the cats from LeafClan whom she could really talk to had come, so she knew she was going to be bored the entire time she would be here. However, she did have a slight hope that she would get to meet someone from another Clan - hopefully not someone stupid and constantly cheery.

With her ears flattened against her head, Breezeclaw dove into the crowd, eager to get away from Pinedust. After that day not long ago, he had been trying to be more friendly toward her, and she hated every second of it. Hadn't she made it clear already that she didn't care to be around him? She trodded among the throng, wishing that she would actually have fun this time and forget about Pinedust.

Letting out a soft sigh, Pinedust turned and padded away from where Breezeclaw had run off. He didn't get why she was so upset with him all the time. He sat down near the edge of the clearing to simply observe the Gathering. Maybe someone would approach him; he didn't feel up to starting a conversation himself.
