Squirrelstar purred softly. "That's great. At least we both know there are cats to continue our legacy."

"Oh, I'll be fine." The silver and black tom mewed, flashing Archpool a tired smile. "Just a little sickness going around. It'll be gone in no time." Smokespeck shifted uncomfortably. "How are things in Briarclan?"

Brindlecloud leaned into Appleheart for a moment before pulling back, not wanting the other medicine cats to give them weird looks. "It is great." She gushed. "I'm just worried about what I will do. I'm the only medicine cat, nobody will be able to help me. Oh Starclan, what am I going to say when I come back to the camp with kits... Maybe I can get Witheredstalk to take care of them..."

Wildpoppy watched Tux hurry after Dapplewish, before turning to Dandelionbloom and Owldust. "So how are you two doing today?" She chirped. She knew that these she-cat's were her possible rivals for Tux, but decided that it was better to make friends instead of enemies.

Gorsepaw nodded happily. "That's good." She mewed to Firepaw and Windpaw.

"Echoclan lives at the bottom of the mountains, I'm pretty sure our clan is allied with yours." Icepaw mewed to her. "Does your Clan have any special assessment that you have to pass before you become a warrior? In Echoclan, we have to climb the mountain and return within a moon to become a warrior. If we fail, we have to wait a moon then try again."

Spiderstar jumped up with the leaders. He listened to the others talk around him, but was too shy to go up to anyone.

After looking around for a bit, Smokewhisker's gaze fell on a she-cat sitting by herself. He tensed up, and he didn't know why but he felt completely frozen. It was... Well, love at first sight. He took a second to calm down then padded over. "hello!" he said kindly, standing a few tail-lengths away.

At the entrance to the Gathering place, the spotted tabby stepped aside to let the other members of her Clan enter first so she could check that everyone was accounted for. She couldn't help but notice how Pinedust was making an effort to be friendly toward Breezeclaw but was obviously being avoided by her. The leader frowned and sighed. Maybe because the two families were at odds with each other for so long, it would be very difficult for the kits to overcome those feelings of distrust and dislike that their parents had once encouraged. "They'll be fine," came a mew from beside her. Emberstar gave Frigidrose a small smile and nod before stepping into the clearing and leaping onto the Great Rock. "Hello," she mewed to the other leaders simply.

Appleheart nodded in understanding. "You'll be fine. You're strong," he tried to assure her, giving a small smile. "Just say you found them while you were out herb hunting. I don't think they would question that."

The silver tabby padded through the crowd almost aimlessly, keeping an eye on Pinedust and Breezeclaw at all times. None of the cats from LeafClan whom she could really talk to had come, so she knew she was going to be bored the entire time she would be here. However, she did have a slight hope that she would get to meet someone from another Clan - hopefully not someone stupid and constantly cheery.

With her ears flattened against her head, Breezeclaw dove into the crowd, eager to get away from Pinedust. After that day not long ago, he had been trying to be more friendly toward her, and she hated every second of it. Hadn't she made it clear already that she didn't care to be around him? She trodded among the throng, wishing that she would actually have fun this time and forget about Pinedust.

Letting out a soft sigh, Pinedust turned and padded away from where Breezeclaw had run off. He didn't get why she was so upset with him all the time. He sat down near the edge of the clearing to simply observe the Gathering. Maybe someone would approach him; he didn't feel up to starting a conversation himself.

"Wow, EchoClan sounds cool!" she chirped in response to Icepaw. "Uh... I think Emberstar was considering some sort of assessment like that, but I haven't heard anything else. Climbing an entire mountain sounds rough...."

Cloudstar had lead the way into the clearing. He knew they were late but it was not really his fault. The river had started to rise and made it rather impossible to cross so he had to look for a different way here. The large white tom had jumped up on the leader's rock and almost ran into another leader "Hey watch it!" he spat rather angrily. His tail was lashing in irritation, though the real problem was back at camp.

Bouldershade made his way towards the other deputies, one tom looked kind of sickly so he did his best to stay away. He sat next to a different tom but managed to keep his fur to himself with distance "Hello, I am Bouldershade, the deputy to Briariclan." he muttered the last part as if he was unhappy with the title.

Archpool scented the tom one last time "Hmm, must be a new kind of sickness, I have never scented this before. You say it is going around in your clan? I hope no cat has fallen from the sickness...I will have to see what your medicine cat is doing about it just in case I come across this sickness." The tom meowed his thoughts outloud "Briarclan is doing rather well actually, we have two new litter of kits that resulted in three healthy and strong kits. Though we also have three cats from Tumbleclan that bare horrid news of the down fall of that clan. They are doing better though and one of them is here tonight so where in the mix of cats." he went on.

Owldust flushed at the compliment from tux and just smiled at him before he walked away after one of the other she cats. Her train of thought was brought back by a question "Today has been great! The clan's grump over slept today and I managed to avoid him the whole day." she giggled. "I swear some toms in my clan have rather big tempers. But how are you doing today?" Owldust chatted away.

Foxclaw rolled his eyes at Owldust, he thought she was going to stay with him at the gathering but that did not seem to be the case. So he looked around for a different she cat to flirt with and saw an anxious cat who looked as if they were going to flee right there. He smirked slightly before padding towards her "Hello, are you alright?" he purred to her, fake worry was in his voice.

Coppereyes so far hated the gathering, to him it made absolutely no sense. All these clans in the area and they all just had to meet under the moon, it annoyed him. But, he promised Cloudstar he would try to be nice, so he blended into the crowd of cats.

"Briarclan is kinda different! Though I have lived with few cats and it is odd adjusting to clan life. My mentor told me of some odd trial an apprentice must pass before becoming a warrior. We are to spend seven days and seven nights in the whisper tree, kind of a scary looking and sounding tree if you ask me, alone and we can't come down until the eighth day then we have to catch an ermine before sun down on the eighth day. I never asked what would happen if we didn't pass though." Mudpaw shared the trial without think before realizing what he had just shared "Don't tell Cloudstar about what I said, he would have my pelt!" Mudpaw frowned.

Spiderstar blinked and stumbled back a little. "I- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!" he exclaimed, the excuse sounding genuine. He had barely understood what was happening and so did not know it was actually the other leader that had crashed into him.

the clan gathered and chose cats to go to the gathering very quickly and head off soon after. once the cats arrived after their small journey sedgeclan's representatives started to spread out and chat with cats from the other clans.

Dandelionbloom lost both her balance and her train of thought, neither of which were particularly notable, as Tux pulled away. It was disappointing he would leave her like that but she kept a grin on her face. What was it that Brushfire had said? Such a pretty face deserves to wear a smile, not a frown. She'd barely talked to him back at camp, but he had been an awfully nice tom to her. Forget Flaxpool's warnings and Frostsong's scorn of romance- Dandelionbloom wanted a tom who would coddle and love her. She wanted a romance like her parents'. He mind was so side-tracked by dreams of love that her answer to Wildpoppy's question came out nearly monosyllabic. "Better. Better now at least." She sighed and kept staring at the spot where Tux had disappeared.

Rowanpelt felt the fur on his neck spike up as Yinpelt raised his voice loud enough for the other cats surrounding them to hear to accuse him of simply being jealous over the so-called love he shared with Velvetrabbit while putting on a convincing, hurtful tone to his voice that made some cats stare at the deputy with disapproving looks on their faces. Rowanpelt didn't turn to face him this time, knowing that if he did he would definitely cause a fight, but he growled under his breath as he made his way towards the other deputies and sat down further away from them. He caught the concerned eye of Willowbolt, but he did nothing to face her.

Juniperpaw lazily licked his fore paw and drew it over his ear as he watched the other apprentices converse with each other, he wasn't really paying attention to what anyone was saying, nothing of note seemed interesting enough to him.

Ratpaw felt a little out of place as he followed Juniperpaw and Acornpaw to where the other apprentices were, he was a lot older then the typical apprentice was supposed to be, fifteen moons was an age that young warriors were supposed to be - not apprentices. The black tom sighed and resigned to looking around, shuffling his paws awkwardly as he tried to find something to do.

Mintstar lead her Clan into the hollow, the PineClan leader had newfound confidence in attending the Gathering this time around, and she strode towards where the other leaders had gathered before seating herself underneath the great rock with her tail curled over her paws.

They both looked like impressive leaders and if her assumptions were correct, they'd make extremely powerful allies with extremely powerful clans! ''Excuse me, you two?'' Fritillarystar called out, looking from Sorrelstar to Mintstar and back again. ''May I inquire your names and your clans?'' The tortiseshell trotted up to the pair. ''You two look like particularly strong leaders to me.'' She smiled thinly in the bright moonlight, hoping that flattery would get her somewhere.
