"Echoclan is doing quite well. One of our warriors is sick, but other than that Echoclan is great." Squirrelstar mewed. "Is Sedgeclan doing well?"

"Hi Jinxstar! I'm doing fine tonight, what about you?"

"Prey is running great, and we are growing faster then we could have wished for." Jinxstar said simply as he looked out at the rest of the cats in the gathering clearing.

Willowbolt was about to approach Rowanpelt, but then saw that Yinpelt was approaching him instead. She was very worried about this, but did not interfere.

Rowanpelt felt like there was ice in his veins, his breath hitched as Yinpelt snarled in his ear before stalking away, and the deputy growled under his breath over being called a traitor by this fox-heart who didn't even know him. He quickly caught up to the JinxClan cat, determined not to let him walk away without saying something. "Listen here you, if I find out that you've harmed a hair on Velvetrabbit or our kits' pelts, I will make you regret it." He threatened once he stood right next to Yinpelt, snarling in his ear the same way he had done to him with his teeth were bared in a snarl and his normally kind yellow eyes lit in an angry fire before he turned his back on him and stalked towards where the other deputies were sitting.

"Do not forget about the piece today, threatening me just because you are jealous of my happiness is a very low move. I would hate for Starclan to send us all away just because you cannot find someone to love like I have." Yinpelt said, with enough emotion to sound genuinely insulted and worried, and loud enough for others around them to hear.

The was frowning, and looking insulted, even though his eyes glimmered maliciously. He turned on his heel and walked away with his head and tail held high.

"Yeah, I'll help!" Dapplewish says, tearing her gaze away from th handsome tom. "Who are we looking for?"

Dapplewish immediately cottons on to the molly's distress and immediately puts her tail on her shoulders. "I'm sure we'll find them," she assures her.

"Familiar?" Dandelionbloom, who had simply been trailing after the tom in a love-struck daze, gave him a blank look. She had been preoccupied in the way the wind ruffled his fur and his eyes seemed to shine whenever he looked at her (or annoyingly so, whenever he looked at Wildpoppy or Dapplewish) and hadn't understood his words past the melodious tone to them. What had they been doing again? Oh right- her family yeah? "No." She didn't even look around. "But that matter doesn't. They'll be alright without me, and I better feel with you already."

Wildpoppy snorted slightly at Dandelionbloom when she so easily abandoned the idea of finding her family, but decided not to make a snarky remark like she normally would. The calico settled down next to Tux, leaning into his shoulder. "What's Jinxclan like?"

"Oh, well, I am glad that I can offer you comfort." Tux smiled pleasently down at Dandelionbloom.

"I love being in Jinxclan. We are an amazingly big clan and we have a great territory.
There are so many kits and families in the clan. I just kind of wish I could have my own." He said kind of wistfully, "How is Echoclan?"

Gorsepaw nodded happily. "That's good." She mewed to Firepaw and Windpaw.

Icepaw looked over at Ivypaw as she came up to their group. "Hey." He mewed, his fur ruffling up against the cold. "I'm Icepaw of Echoclan, this is my sister Gorsepaw and that's Sparkpaw."

"im whitepaw and next to me is foggypaw. we're from sedgeclan." whitepaw introduced him and foggypaw to the new apprentice who joined their group.

"It is good, prey is running great." Firepaw said as she sidled a bit closer to her brother.

Smokespeck sat at the bottom of the leader's rock where the deputy's usually gathered. His usually bright silver and black spotted pelt was dull and unkempt. His bright gaze was glazed over.

"I-I think so." Brindlecloud stuttered. "I'm still learning on how to check she-cat's for pregnancy, Mossvine has been helping me with checking the new queens but I'm still not sure..."

"Echoclan is a big Clan as well. We live at the base of a mountain so every Echoclan cat can climb extremely well." Wildpoppy boasted, her chest puffing out in pride. "My father is the deputy, Smokespeck."

Cloudstar had lead the way into the clearing. He knew they were late but it was not really his fault. The river had started to rise and made it rather impossible to cross so he had to look for a different way here. The large white tom had jumped up on the leader's rock and almost ran into another leader "Hey watch it!" he spat rather angrily. His tail was lashing in irritation, though the real problem was back at camp.

The observant tom scanned the clearing before entering, he had spotted an ill looking cat sitting under the leader's rock. Instead of leaving the ill looking tom be he went over and asked "You alright? You don't seem well.." he meowed, his eyes took in the tom. Looking him over as if he was one of his own clan's warriors.

Owldust had ran right into the clearing for the gathering, happy as can be. She didn't get to come last time and was looking forward to meeting new cats! The happy and bubbly molly saw a group of she cats and a tom looking for something and thought maybe she could help so she bounded right over to them. "Hello! I am Owldust, are you cats looking for something?" she looked at the tom a little longer than needed as she admired his black and white pelt, even his pale yellow eyes seemed to sparkle to her. "You are pretty handsome." she blurted in her usual talkative nature "Oh and all you mollies are pretty!" she looked around at them all with a smile "I can help you look for what ever it is you are looking for?"

Foxclaw rolled his eyes at Owldust, he thought she was going to stay with him at the gathering but that did not seem to be the case. He smirked slightly before padding towards her "Hello, are you alright?" he purred to her, fake worry was in his voice.

Coppereyes so far hated the gathering, to him it made absolutely no sense. All these clans in the area and they all just had to meet under the moon, it annoyed him. But, he promised Cloudstar he would try to be nice, so he blended into the crowd of cats.

This was more then he could have asked for, and he had a feeling that the next for nights would be very busy for him.

At the entrance to the Gathering place, the spotted tabby stepped aside to let the other members of her Clan enter first so she could check that everyone was accounted for. She couldn't help but notice how Pinedust was making an effort to be friendly toward Breezeclaw but was obviously being avoided by her. The leader frowned and sighed. Maybe because the two families were at odds with each other for so long, it would be very difficult for the kits to overcome those feelings of distrust and dislike that their parents had once encouraged. "They'll be fine," came a mew from beside her. Emberstar gave Frigidrose a small smile and nod before stepping into the clearing and leaping onto the Great Rock. "Hello," she mewed to the other leaders simply.

Appleheart was so overjoyed he could hardly speak and only managed to get out, "Th-that is... w-wonderful!..." He trailed off, as he was pretty much at a loss for words. To make up for his lack of words, he stepped forward and licked her forehead. After a moment he mewed quietly, "Are you feeling okay? How long will it be till they come?"

The silver tabby padded through the crowd almost aimlessly, keeping an eye on Pinedust and Breezeclaw at all times. None of the cats from LeafClan whom she could really talk to had come, so she knew she was going to be bored the entire time she would be here. However, she did have a slight hope that she would get to meet someone from another Clan - hopefully not someone stupid and constantly cheery.

With her ears flattened against her head, Breezeclaw dove into the crowd, eager to get away from Pinedust. After that day not long ago, he had been trying to be more friendly toward her, and she hated every second of it. Hadn't she made it clear already that she didn't care to be around him? She trodded among the throng, wishing that she would actually have fun this time and forget about Pinedust.

Letting out a soft sigh, Pinedust turned and padded away from where Breezeclaw had run off. He didn't get why she was so upset with him all the time. He sat down near the edge of the clearing to simply observe the Gathering. Maybe someone would approach him; he didn't feel up to starting a conversation himself.

Dapplewish feels a little put out as the handsome tom pays more attention to the other she-cats showing up, so she slinks off. Maybe she can find Mottledlight and the torbie can comfort her.

Rosetail wanders the group of cats. Though it isn't her first gathering, she hasn't spotted any cats she recognizes and sighs as she sits.

The was frowning, and looking insulted, even though his eyes glimmered maliciously. He turned on his heel and walked away with his head and tail held high.

"Familiar?" Dandelionbloom, who had simply been trailing after the tom in a love-struck daze, gave him a blank look. She had been preoccupied in the way the wind ruffled his fur and his eyes seemed to shine whenever he looked at her (or annoyingly so, whenever he looked at Wildpoppy or Dapplewish) and hadn't understood his words past the melodious tone to them. What had they been doing again? Oh right- her family yeah? "No." She didn't even look around. "But that matter doesn't. They'll be alright without me, and I better feel with you already."

Wildpoppy snorted slightly at Dandelionbloom when she so easily abandoned the idea of finding her family, but decided not to make a snarky remark like she normally would. The calico settled down next to Tux, leaning into his shoulder. "What's Jinxclan like?"

Owldust had ran right into the clearing for the gathering, happy as can be. She didn't get to come last time and was looking forward to meeting new cats! The happy and bubbly molly saw a group of she cats and a tom looking for something and thought maybe she could help so she bounded right over to them. "Hello! I am Owldust, are you cats looking for something?" she looked at the tom a little longer than needed as she admired his black and white pelt, even his pale yellow eyes seemed to sparkle to her. "You are pretty handsome." she blurted in her usual talkative nature "Oh and all you mollies are pretty!" she looked around at them all with a smile "I can help you look for what ever it is you are looking for?"

Dapplewish feels a little put out as the handsome tom pays more attention to the other she-cats showing up, so she slinks off. Maybe she can find Mottledlight and the torbie can comfort her.

"Excuse me a moment, ladies." Tux said as he saw Dapplewish slipping away.

He went after her, "Where are you going, Dapplewish?" He asked as he followed her, "I am sorry if you are feeling left out. How about after the gathering we meet up somewhere, then we can have a quiet conversation, just the two of us?"

Tux gave her his best winning smile, not wanting to lose the opportunity to get to know such a pretty she-cat better.

Gorsepaw nodded happily. "That's good." She mewed to Firepaw and Windpaw.

Icepaw looked over at Ivypaw as she came up to their group. "Hey." He mewed, his fur ruffling up against the cold. "I'm Icepaw of Echoclan, this is my sister Gorsepaw and that's Sparkpaw."

"sedgeclan is the best! we even had a new litter of kits this moon! their names are dewkit, snakekit, wavekit, olivekit and snailkit. they are so cute! how about yours?" foggypaw replied quickly and cheerfully.

The siblings said nothing, worried about giving too much away. They just looked at each other and frowned, scooting a bit closer together.
