tawnystar flicked her tail, and her clan split up towards the gathering. she scrambled onto the high rock and looked down at her clan with warm eyes.

foxfoot walked towards the deputies, his head high. after talking with snowpaw, he was finally excited for his sister. finding a mate was a joyous occasion, after all.

mallowpool sulked in the corner like the emo child he is

gingerstorm and stonefur were sitting together, just like last time. they chatted a bit, but both felt awkward and hoped someone would come rescue them from the other.

brindlenose started panting, her eyes wide and her ears back. she hated gatherings, every single time she came to one she had a panic attack. every. single. time. she closed her eyes and was shaking like a leaf, her expression one of panic.

shadefang was just watching, his cool yellow eyes taking everything in. he wasn't sure how to act at these things, but he was still going to try and make tawnystar proud.

snowpaw was just looking at the highrock, bored out of his mind. he scuffed up some dirt with his paws.

At the entrance to the Gathering place, the spotted tabby stepped aside to let the other members of her Clan enter first so she could check that everyone was accounted for. She couldn't help but notice how Pinedust was making an effort to be friendly toward Breezeclaw but was obviously being avoided by her. The leader frowned and sighed. Maybe because the two families were at odds with each other for so long, it would be very difficult for the kits to overcome those feelings of distrust and dislike that their parents had once encouraged. "They'll be fine," came a mew from beside her. Emberstar gave Frigidrose a small smile and nod before stepping into the clearing and leaping onto the Great Rock. "Hello," she mewed to the other leaders simply.

The silver tabby padded through the crowd almost aimlessly, keeping an eye on Pinedust and Breezeclaw at all times. None of the cats from LeafClan whom she could really talk to had come, so she knew she was going to be bored the entire time she would be here. However, she did have a slight hope that she would get to meet someone from another Clan - hopefully not someone stupid and constantly cheery.

With her ears flattened against her head, Breezeclaw dove into the crowd, eager to get away from Pinedust. After that day not long ago, he had been trying to be more friendly toward her, and she hated every second of it. Hadn't she made it clear already that she didn't care to be around him? She trodded among the throng, wishing that she would actually have fun this time and forget about Pinedust.

Letting out a soft sigh, Pinedust turned and padded away from where Breezeclaw had run off. He didn't get why she was so upset with him all the time. He sat down near the edge of the clearing to simply observe the Gathering. Maybe someone would approach him; he didn't feel up to starting a conversation himself.

"Echoclan is doing quite well. One of our warriors is sick, but other than that Echoclan is great." Squirrelstar mewed. "Is Sedgeclan doing well?"

"Hi Jinxstar! I'm doing fine tonight, what about you?"

"Prey is running great, and we are growing faster then we could have wished for." Jinxstar said simply as he looked out at the rest of the cats in the gathering clearing.

Willowbolt was about to approach Rowanpelt, but then saw that Yinpelt was approaching him instead. She was very worried about this, but did not interfere.

Rowanpelt was quiet as he listened to Yinpelt speak about how much he and Velvetrabbit supposedly loved each other, the tom was finding it very hard to keep his composure and that smug smile on Yinpelt's face wasn't helping his slowly growing irritation either, his entire body tensed once he learned how his mate had given Yinpelt permission to name the kits. 'Maybe she's doing the same thing me and Wasptail did,' He reasoned, thinking back to when they posed as mates while she carried Ramhorn's litter, but Yinpelt didn't seem like he knew anything about he and Velvetrabbit. The deputy blinked owlishly as he realized he spent too long being smile gave the tom a clearly forced smile. "R-Really? I'm happy for you two."

Yinpelt was brimming with glee at his obvious discomfort, he could not wait to continue this.

"Yes, I always wanted a kit named Dirt, Fish, maybe even Crow. I love that first name, Dirt, it is just so catchy." Yinpelt said as he smiled even wider.

When Tux looked at her Dandelionbloom felt the few collected thoughts she possessed go flying off to Starclan, her heart tagging along with them. Her pale fur flushed quite visibly, but she was too taken with the tom's eyes to really notice. "Uh Uh hi meet it's nice to Tux you! Er I mean..." The Beechclan warrior swallowed awkwardly, trying, and failing, to recollect herself. "I'm Dandelionbloom, from Beechclan. Oh- you already knew that 'cause I was looking for-" She trailed off giggling like she was soft in the head. "Thanks for offering to help me, I don't like being alone."

The young warrior wanders the Gathering place. Though she's been in QuartzClan for a few moons, she hasn't been to a Gathering until tonight. She never expected there to be so many cats here!
Unaware of where her paws are taking her, she unexpectedly bumps into a cat. "Oh! Sorry!" she apologizes almost immediately.

Wildpoppy looked around the clearing curiously, unsure of who to talk to. Her deep amber eyes sparked mischievously when she saw Tux speaking with Dapplewish. The calico she-cat looked towards the leader's rock, where Squirrelstar was speaking with the other leaders before looking back towards Tux and Dapplewish. Oh, talking to him wouldn't cause any trouble She thought smugly before trotting up to the pair, her bobbed tail wiggling excitedly.

"Hello!" She chirped to Tux and Dapplewish, mainly Tux.

"Uh, Tux? No, I don't think I've ever seen him before." Dapplewish studies the tom and is hit by how handsome he is. Well crud. "U-uh, hi," she stammers.

Tux smiled warmly at her, laughing inside at her flustered state. He found it quiet cute, and hoped that this she-cat would stick around.

"Well, I would not want to leave a pretty face like your's alone, now would I?" He said, holding her gaze with his.

Tux looked over at the new voice and smiled at the calico approaching him. She was a very pretty female as well.

"Hello, who might you be?" Tux said as he smiled at Dapplewish.

Tux was smiling ever broader as another female walked up to him. This was more then what he could have hoped for.

"Hello, I am so glad that I could meet all of you." He said as he was trying to keep track of all the new faces in front of him.

foggypaw bounded over to two other apprentices with whitepaw following on his tail. "hello! im foggypaw and this is whitepaw" foggypaw said flicking his tail towards whitepaw "we come from sedgeclan".[/size][/center]

"cool! hows it like in echoclan?" foggypaw asked gorsepaw, icepaw and sparkpaw. whitepaw nodded his head.

"Echoclan is alright. Not much has happened in the past few moons." Gorsepaw mewed. Sparkpaw settled back on her haunches, licking her paw and drawing it over her ears. "Sparkpaw's father came and joined Echoclan, that's about it. What about your Clans?" She mewed to the rival apprentices.

"It is good, prey is running great." Firepaw said as she sidled a bit closer to her brother.

Subconsciously the she-cat edged closer to Tux. He was helping her. "Tux, can we go look now?" She asked, trying to keep a whine out of her mew. His compliment made her fur tingle and the only thought she could hold in her mind was the fact he made her feel special. "It was nice to meet you all, now let's go please?"

Smokespeck sat at the bottom of the leader's rock where the deputy's usually gathered. His usually bright silver and black spotted pelt was dull and unkempt. His bright gaze was glazed over.

"Everything is mostly alright." Brindlecloud mewed. "Shrewtail caught some sort of sickness, I can't figure out what it is. I've never seen it before." The dilute calico she-cat mewed. "I think Smokespeck is catching it too." The medicine cat looked down at her stomach. "This is all happening at the worst time."

"I'm Wildpoppy of Echoclan." The bob tail she-cat purred, batting her eyes at Tux. Wildpoppy felt eyes burning into her back so she looked briefly over her shoulder to see Smokespeck watching her disapprovingly. The she-cat turned away from her father to return her attention Tux, Dapplewish and Dandelionbloom.

Wildpoppy frowned at Dandelionbloom's seemingly pushy nature. "We can all help look."

Dandelionbloom tried not to feel a bit put out by the idea that she wasn't going to be alone with Tux. It wasn't like Wildpoppy and Dapplewish were trying to make her feel crowded, but panic was steadily rising in her throat. Maybe this was for the best. She needed to find someone she felt comfortable with right away or she might start crying. "Thanks," her voice wavered a wee bit but she pushed it down, "I'm looking for my family but I don't remember if they came or not." The warrior paused and then backtracked, realizing how stupid that sounded. "My father died recently so I'm not-not-not entirely-" He mew hitched as the tears started pricking. She hadn't meant to think about Dunpond, she swore she hadn't, but she couldn't help it! Her father had always watched her at gatherings but now...

It was then that he noticed her glance towards her belly, and slowly his eyes grew wide. "Wh-wha... a-are you.... really?...." he sputtered almost incoherently. By now his frown had changed to a wide grin.

Eagerly she trotted up to them and waited politely for one to finish speaking before she introduced herself, "Hello! I'm Ivypaw of LeafClan. Who are you?"

"Do not worry your pretty face," Tux said as he laid a conforting tail across Dandelionbloom's shoulders, "we are all here to help you. You are not alone, you are among friends.
