Jinxstar walked up to the rest of the leaders, "Hello, Squirrelstar, how are you tonight?" he said politely.

Willowbolt was about to approach Rowanpelt, but then saw that Yinpelt was approaching him instead. She was very worried about this, but did not interfere.

Rowanpelt looked around discretely for Velvetrabbit, anxious to know how she was doing now that his mate was expecting their kits, he once again felt a glow of pride over the thought and a loving smile spread on his face before realizing he was in the presence of other cats and that he should at least make himself appear inconspicuous.

"Hello, Rowanpelt, how is Pineclan? Prey running well?" Yinpelt said as he walked up to him with a smug smile.

Yinpelt was going to enjoy this probably more then he should, but it would be amazing to see the look on the tom's face when he found out.

Tux was looking around the clearing happily, eyeing all the pretty females that were gathered. He was hoping to work a little magic tonight, and maybe go back to camp with a few admirers.

foggypaw & whitepaw. both apprentices. both toms. tagged; firepaw, windpaw.
foggypaw bounded over to two other apprentices with whitepaw following on his tail. "hello! im foggypaw and this is whitepaw" foggypaw said flicking his tail towards whitepaw "we come from sedgeclan".[/size][/center]

The three Echoclan apprentices trotted over to the group of Sedgeclan and Jinxclan apprentices. "Hello!" Gorsepaw chirped, hopping ahead of her clanmates. "I'm Gorsepaw, and this is my brother Icepaw, and friend Sparkpaw. We're from Echoclan!"

"cool! hows it like in echoclan?" foggypaw asked gorsepaw, icepaw and sparkpaw. whitepaw nodded his head.

"My name is Windpaw, and this is my sister, Firepaw. We are from Jinxclan." Windpaw said as he looked at his more shy sister.

Firepaw was looking around with fear at all the new and unfamiliar cats. She and her brother were at their first gathering, and it was all very scary for them.

Dandelionbloom wasn't sure where the rest of her family was at the moment. Her grief had been too suffocating when Sorrelstar announced the gathering and she didn't even know what other Beechclan cats were attending. The she-cat cursed hazil's laziness her own distractability and began to scan the crowd for some sign of a cat she recognized, instead, her eyes picked out the pelt of a fairly handsome tom. Maybe he could help? Not allowing herself to wonder or dawdle anymore lest the tuxedo tom slip away, Dandelionbloom padded quickly up to him and mewed, "Excuse me? Do you smell any Beechclan cats around here, uh, besides me I mean. We smell like fish and stuff. I'm kind of lost?"

Rowanpelt masked his confusion well enough as he turned to face Yinpelt, but it was getting harder to hide when he noticed the smug smile on the dark gray tom's face. "We're fairing well, I think this Greenleaf is off to a good start," He mewed, sounding friendly as he always had when speaking to cats of other Clans. "and what of JinxClan? How's everything on your end?" He asked, figuring this was the best way to try and learn of Velvetrabbit without raising suspicions.

Ratpaw felt a little out of place as he followed Juniperpaw and Acornpaw to where the other apprentices were, he was a lot older then the typical apprentice was supposed to be, fifteen moons was an age that young warriors were supposed to be - not apprentices. The black tom sighed and resigned to looking around, shuffling his paws awkwardly as he tried to find something to do.

Mintstar lead her Clan into the hollow, the PineClan leader had newfound confidence in attending the Gathering this time around, and she strode towards where the other leaders had gathered before seating herself underneath the great rock with her tail curled over her paws.

"Prey is running great with Jinxclan, and we are growing quickly. I am proud to say that my mate and I are expecting kits now. It makes me very happy to think about." Yinpelt said with an even more smug smile, "Velvetrabbit and I were so happy to finally make our love official. She is just crazy about me, and I doubt I would survive without her. She has even given me the honor of naming the kits!"

Yinpelt was watching very closely for Rowanpelt's reaction to what he said. He knew that if it were him, he would have a fit. He doubted that Rowanpelt would be able to hide such a thing easily.

"Well, hello, my name is Tux. I have yet to find any, but you are welcome to stay with me until we can find them." He said to her as he looked at her with a shining gaze.

When Tux looked at her Dandelionbloom felt the few collected thoughts she possessed go flying off to Starclan, her heart tagging along with them. Her pale fur flushed quite visibly, but she was too taken with the tom's eyes to really notice. "Uh Uh hi meet it's nice to Tux you! Er I mean..." The Beechclan warrior swallowed awkwardly, trying, and failing, to recollect herself. "I'm Dandelionbloom, from Beechclan. Oh- you already knew that 'cause I was looking for-" She trailed off giggling like she was soft in the head. "Thanks for offering to help me, I don't like being alone."

The young warrior wanders the Gathering place. Though she's been in QuartzClan for a few moons, she hasn't been to a Gathering until tonight. She never expected there to be so many cats here!
Unaware of where her paws are taking her, she unexpectedly bumps into a cat. "Oh! Sorry!" she apologizes almost immediately.

Rowanpelt was quiet as he listened to Yinpelt speak about how much he and Velvetrabbit supposedly loved each other, the tom was finding it very hard to keep his composure and that smug smile on Yinpelt's face wasn't helping his slowly growing irritation either, his entire body tensed once he learned how his mate had given Yinpelt permission to name the kits. 'Maybe she's doing the same thing me and Wasptail did,' He reasoned, thinking back to when they posed as mates while she carried Ramhorn's litter, but Yinpelt didn't seem like he knew anything about he and Velvetrabbit. The deputy blinked owlishly as he realized he spent too long being smile gave the tom a clearly forced smile. "R-Really? I'm happy for you two."

Smokespeck sat at the bottom of the leader's rock where the deputy's usually gathered. His usually bright silver and black spotted pelt was dull and unkempt. His bright gaze was glazed over.

Brindlecloud smiled happily at the sight of her mate. "I'm good." She mewed cheerfully. "How have you been?" She asked. The dilute calico decided to wait a little while before telling Appleheart the news.

Wildpoppy looked around the clearing curiously, unsure of who to talk to. Her deep amber eyes sparked mischievously when she saw Tux speaking with Dapplewish and Dandelionbloom. The calico she-cat looked towards the leader's rock, where Squirrelstar was speaking with the other leaders before looking back towards Tux, Dapplewish and Dandelionbloom. Oh, talking to him wouldn't cause any trouble She thought smugly before trotting up to the trio, her bobbed tail wiggling excitedly.

"Hello!" She chirped to Tux, Dapplewish and Dandelionbloom, mainly Tux.

"Echoclan is alright. Not much has happened in the past few moons." Gorsepaw mewed. Sparkpaw settled back on her haunches, licking her paw and drawing it over her ears. "Sparkpaw's father came and joined Echoclan, that's about it. What about your Clans?" She mewed to the rival apprentices.

Dandelionbloom had begun to feel rather crowded as two new she-cats approached. But she was a fairly friendly she-cat by nature so she greeted them with the composure she could muster. "Hi!" she squeaked, attempting to get herself noticed. "Tux was helping me find my family, do you know him? I'm Dandelionbloom by the way>"
