Might as well give this a go. 8) My heart skipped a beat after skimming the forum, and seeing this.
What date did you register as a CS member?: July Second, 2009. I played in 2008 though, but with no account. I had adopted pets, and posted them on various websites, and that's just about it.

How many posts have you made in the forum: 4512 and counting.

Without posting your age, are you old enough (and willing) to risk seeing adult content when screening posts that are waiting for moderator approval: I saw that you wrote we can be a little younger than eighteen. I am, and am very mature {don't worry, I'm not like a 13 year old.} I'm okay with it, and it will be dealt with accordingly. It won't bother me.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Every single day, for many hours. But if something pops up, like a funeral, I may be off for a day. I do bring my laptop on vacations, and stay at a WiFi hotel so can be online then.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? More than Six hours a day.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? Not really a well-known site, but I've been a mod for Truthful Lies as well as a few websites no one probably knows about.

Now the important question: Why do you want to be a moderator for CS?
I want to be a moderator because I want to help stop art thieving and all the wrong-doings members may make on forums, as well as help people out. Chickensmoothie is a great forum, with great members and moderators, many which are extremely helpful, kind, and patient. Being a moderator is more than having your name a different color than everyone else's it is a position where you are placed to be respectful, responsible, and patient. Many people message me with help, whether it be with signatures, or if I spot a post that's in the wrong forum. I surprisingly always find things like that, and now can do something with it. I also know that you aren't allowed to use google images for roleplays {that you don't own}, and when I see it, I message the creator of the roleplay.
When I am ever unsure about something, I check the stickies in that field, and if it isn't there, then message a General Helper.
Being a moderator for Chickensmoothie would be an actual dream come true, and I hope it will be. If I don't get picked, I'd try and help out as usual, but hope that won't be the case. I would be helping out a website I adore, and it would be amazing.
If there is a fight on the forums between members, I have the patience to listen to both sides and figure out a solution, as I've had plenty of practice in real life. I would have to enforce the rules {not as a dictator sort of type but just reminding.} and try my best to catch art thieves, and deal with it appropriately.
A moderator should know right from wrong, as well as how to act, and do their job nicely.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I know a little about coding and things, along with Gimp and other drawing programs. I also swear by the stickies. I can speak basic Spanish, not fluent, but getting there, and will be learning French and Latin in about one year or so.

Good luck to all the ones applying, and Tess, Nick, and staff, thanks for the once in a lifetime oppertunity.

Look, I'm just going to apply here. You said if you want to, and I know I probably won't get chosen but it doesn't hurt to try. Delete if necessary c:

What date did you register as a CS member?:
October '10.
How many posts have you made in the forum:
I have posted 2195 times.
Without posting your age, are you old enough (and willing) to risk seeing adult content when screening posts that are waiting for moderator approval:
Yes. I am mature for my age and I will not cringe away from inappropriate behavior/posts.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Everyday, depending on the amount of homework I have.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
On weekdays, maybe 2 hours at the most. On the weekends, around 4+.
Have you moderated on any other forums before?
Nope, sorry.
Now the important question: Why do you want to be a moderator for CS?
Okay. Well, it took me a while to get into it, but as soon as I did, I loved this site. The trading, the forums, especially the pets. One of my dreams was to become a mod/artist, and here is a chance for that, possibly my only chance. Most of the members here are very nice, but the ones that aren't, I would happily deal with and I'd be honoured that you'd trust me to deal with them. I suppose the main reason is because I love this site so much. With the rule breakers gone, the site would be perfect and I'd love to help achieve that.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required)
Not particularly. I don't speak any other languages [although I know a little bit of Japanese]. I won't blow my top though, if someone is breaking the rules. I'll remain calm, and tough if I need to be. I'm not afraid of anyone over the internet, words cannot hurt me when they are made of pixels.

Thank you so much for the opportunity. Good luck to the other entries c:

Well, might as well just post an application. Can't do anything if you never try...

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: December 9th, 2008.
2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 1936 at time of posting.
3.Without posting your age, are you old enough (and willing) to risk seeing adult content when screening posts that are waiting for moderator approval: I would say so, yes. :)
4.How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Seven, ideally.
5.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Around three. I spend more time on here normally, but some days I have too much homework. I try to pop on for at least half an hour per day, if only to catch up with pets and PMs.
6.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them

-Moderator, and then Admin (for a brief time) : http://rppaddictsanonymous.proboards.com/index.cgi
-Operator (Sort of like a mod) on Bombtech01's server in Minecraft, and Admin on Rizyq's server in Minecraft. I'm sorry, I can't link to them, as I'm pretty sure both of those are inactive right now.
-Staff Member, and now Co-owner, of the DPA : viewtopic.php?f=39&t=334922 ((Not really another forum, but I thought I would throw this in here anyway.))
-I can think of other cases where I've been appointed to Moderator, but I cannot remember any concrete proof, so I won't waste your time.

7.Now the important question: Why do you want to be a moderator for CS? I like being a mod, to be frank. It's nice to be able to help other players, such as newbies, and to be able to moderate or step in if a fight/spamfest/ect is happening.
8.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I've been told that I am good at being diplomatic when I need to be, and I do not care when people yell at me. :)

Hope this isn't too late. :)

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 8 months ago, do not apply): October 1st, 2009
2. How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply) 1755 posts.
3. Without posting your age, are you old enough (and willing) to risk seeing adult content when screening posts that are waiting for moderator approval: (If you don't know what I'm talking about, read the first post again) I feel I'm mature enough to handle adult content. Though, I am below the age of 18.
4. How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: Everyday.
5. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: 4-7 hours a day
6. Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: Yes, but it hasn't really started up yet. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=452190
7. Now the important question: Why do you want to be a moderator for CS?: I seem to understand everything on Chicken Smoothie quite well. I've been waiting to actually become a newbie helper but as I've noticed, it doesn't happen everyday. I've been on over twenty pet sites like Chicken Smoothie and have been a moderator on two. Though, this was a few years ago I would love to be a moderator for CS. As I said, I know alot about Chicken Smootie and can easily answer questions and help. I'm calm in almost and condition and can settle quarrels easily. I've helped in quite a few problems with art theft.
8. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?): I have been a moderator on two other pet sites before CS.

If you're asking because you are too young/haven't been on long enough/etc., then you probably shouldn't. ;) Remember, there is a "do not apply if" section.

1. Wed Dec 24, 2008 10:40 am
2. 350
3. Yes, and I am comfortable with images.
4. I visit usually everyday, and would be willing to be on more hours if I had a job today (as I don't sift through my pets, naming them, editing them, etc. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but I just don't fancy putting my time into that. Although I would be able to spend at least 3 hours a day helping out.)
5. At the most, usually an hour, just surfing and posting. But, that could be changed.
6. No, but when people on the internet fight with me, I keep a calm head and let a mod/admin know. I also play fairly and don't tolerate bullying, as when I was younger, I had the worst time with bullies, and I hate to have to see anyone go through something like that, let alone on a fun, child friendly website that should be a get away, not a place to look at and cry or get angry.
7. I have been in the hospital twice for depression and such, so I have had a lot of therapy and medications, and have learned to help calm people down, and stay calm myself. My friends also say I'm good at getting a fight died down and fixed where no one gets hurt. I hope I can help, thanks!
