Stormpaw nodded, replying. 'Training's going well! I'm learning some really good things!' Then, he jumped as an unfamiliar voice and scent filled his ears and nose. He whipped around, staring at Scottie. 'She's busy.' he responded defensively, moving to stand in front of Blastkit. He felt a little intimidated by the much larger cat but he wouldn't show it.

Scottie was taken aback by the noticeable defensiveness in the small cat. He liked the way he defended the kit, too. Scottie shook his head to clear his thoughts. "I just want to speak to her about joining the clan, and 'training as you call it." he waited a moment before speaking again. "i just wan o know where she is." he briefly showed the collar under his fur around his neck and the little tag on it.

He murmured, "is he a kittypet?" He stared at the larger tom from behind stormpaw rather curious. "What's a kittypet doing here? And why would he want to join our clan?" The kit felt like he could defend himself but knew it would be a better idea to let stormpaw keep him safe. If anything happened he'd help stormpaw.

Scottie sighed. "I want to join because..." he cut himself off. "My reason is personal and i must ask your leader for help. Have any of you ever met a she-cat named DullEyes or a tom named SolarMoon?" he stared at the tom below him. "i promise you i mean no harm, i just need to talk."

Stormpaw still regarded Scottie with disbelief and distrust. 'No, I don't know them. I'll take you to her.' He turned to Blastkit and whispered 'Follow us if you want. I don't trust him. Why would a kitty pet want to join?' Then he straightened up and padded to Dapplestar's den.

He trotted beside stormpaw. "I don't know them but I'm still young and know very few clanmates by name," he murmured. He occasionally glanced back at the kittypet not really trusting him. He knew not to trust strangers but this cat was weird.
