what do you think about these things called fidget spinners ? I literally hate them and i don't see anything special in it and i want to hear your opinion on it

I must be really out of touch, I only just noticed fidget spinners around. I don't see what the big deal it, it's a tool some people can use to keep their hands occupied.

I like roses, I just love red flowers in particular. Hibiscus, poppies, tulips and the like.

Most likely either Pokemon or Digimon. If I was in Digimon, I would be Kari, one of the digidestined. If I was in Pokémon, I would like to be pikachu

It's almost June, so summer's coming up! Any plans for this summer?

This is probably the last summer where I can be responsibility-free, so I'm planning on doing a lot. In June, my online friend group is all traveling to Florida to meet in person. Most of them have already met in person but this will be my first time seeing everyone for real. I am particularly excited because my one friend Bear and I met on Transformice six years ago and we have been best friends ever since. I am so excited to meet him and I have been dreaming of this day for years! (I am good friends with everyone else in the group too, but I met everyone through Bear.) In August, I am going to Ocean City with some friends from college. It's a bit less exciting since I've already spent lots of time with them in person, but nonetheless I am excited to be vacationing with close friends.

I'm also moving in a few days, so there's that. We're going from a house to an apartment so I can't say that it's desirable, but it's a completely different area so I'm sure that it will be fun. I'll be a bit closer to school so I don't have to live on campus anymore.

Ah, funny story. I hated them at first because of the typical association with Minecraft YouTube-obsessed middle school kids, and they were just a meme that I made fun of. I was really curious about how they felt to spin, and I wanted to be edgy and ironic, so I bought one for myself and started posting dumb Snapchats with it. It turns out that it really helped calm my social anxiety and I regret every bad thought that I had about them. I can't let go of it now.

What is your favourite adoptable on this site, and why?!

I fell in love with the Nonballoon the first time I saw it and it was my dream pet for a while. Someone was kind enough to just gift her to me! I will always appreciate how generous that user was and I wish they still played CS so they could see that I'm taking care of her.

Yes!
This month I'm going to spend a weekend with a friend of mine from the Netherlands. We've been considering meeting for a while now, but never really got around to it. Both of us haven't exactly been hanging out with people a lot these past years, so it'll be a good experience for both of us, me thinks.

Next month I'm gonna be at Cologne Pride again~

And what I am the most excited about is August, when I'll be spending a month with my boyfriend <3 We're extreme long-distance - I'm German and he's American. I'll be in the States from August 18th to September 18th, and I couldn't be more hyped!
We've got so many things planned already!
I'm also hoping to meet up with a few other people, some of them from CS, so I'll have a lot to talk about when I'm back I'm sure.

They can be a great tool for a variety of people (for example those on the autistic spectrum) to help with concentration issues or anxieties. I think it's cool to have fidget toys readily available to make life easier for people, but I'm bummed to hear that there are so many cases of kids misusing them in school and causing problems for the students who actually need them.

I have a number of stress toys that I like to carry in my pocket, mostly things I can squeeze/knead when I feel tense. It's not the same thing as a fidget toy, but they're tools to me, too. My disorder often causes my stress levels to skyrocket within seconds and at the most inconvenient times, and it's incredibly difficult to snap out of it - the toys help me manage while I wait for the feelings to wear off.

These types of toys can benefit more than just people within certain groups, I'm sure, but it's important to be mindful about how to use them. Please don't be the kind of person who disrupts lessons by playing with a toy - you may have classmates who rely on it to stay focused, don't tempt teachers to take those things away from them.
