"Hey! Show yourself."

The smell of fox and blood filled the air. She needed to alert the clan. Then she heard words, "I love you."
That voice... It sounded like Lynxtooth, but there was no one else there, but Beaverpaw. She was... stunned. She turned around and heard Beaverpaw's response. "Should I tell the clan?" Antnose thought. "No, I better not..." She turned around to leave, but she stepped in a pile of leaves. Her heart started racing... "Do they know I'm here?" Before thinking she blurted out "Don't worry! It's just me"

Lynxtooth could feel his heart racing. Acting as though what he had said wasn't heard, he pushed through the bushes to where Antnose stood.
"Antnose, Flarestone is-" He took in a deep breath. "Flarestone is dead. It looks like she was attacked by foxes, but to me it seems like there is foul play." He turned towards Beaverpaw, hoping he wouldn't look through the bushes at the brutal scene-
"It's bad. It's really bad." He tried to show that he was strong, by looking serious. But he was afraid, he knew that something had happened here. "I need you to take Beaverpaw back to camp, and to get Gingerstar and a patrol. I need to stay here to make sure that nothing affects the scene."
In truth he just didn't want Beaverpaw to see the scene. The foxes had torn Flarestone apart.

A-Alright... Antnose responded. Flarestone was dead... She turned her head over to Beaverpaw. Beaverpaw, follow me... we're going back to camp. She felt broken. She tried her best to hide it. But, she knew another cat was dead.

Sneezepaw stumbled out of the apprentice's den. He had a feeling something bad had happened, but he shook it off as he slowly padded over to the fresh-kill pile to get something to eat.
