Duyskfury doged Magmasstar's attack and then rushed forward like lightning and grabbed Snakekit back before she climbed up a tree. "You want him? Come get him!"Devilpaw climbed up but wasn't as fast as her mother and gasped in shock as her mother flew from branch to branch like a squirrel. But that's not going to help him now is it? Devilpaw thought bitterly as she leaped through the air like a bird almost and landed 10 branches below Duskfury

She struggled to keep still on her branch that swayed slightly. "Magmastar help!" she cried as she somehow managed to slip nearly off the branch but was holding on with her back claws.

Devilpaw's claws slipped and she fell. She landed somewhere on Coyotefang's back and then rolled over to the ground. "I-I failed," she whispered horrorfied, but as she had fallen Duskfury's expression was unreadable. Almost as though she had wanted to be the one to catch Devilpaw, her kit.
