CS Rarity List [WIP] - status update on page 75

I've sorted out the stats thing with Nickjr, we've come up with a plan to deal with the fact my calculations were making a large assumption and it involves counting the rereleases.

Should I put up a poll in the thread about what to count next?
Our options are:
July 2008
September 2008
Rerelease 2008
Rerelease 2009

And later I want to include options to count some other VRs like Dark Pink Shima, but only if we don't have rarity change archive data to address them (from memory I think that particular one is fine but it's just an example).

My personal preference is actually to tackle the rereleases first so we can use that data to confirm our August data, and then use the other counts for the rereleases on the July & September data sets as they come in.

Id suggest dounting the other 08 months first and then jumping to the 09 rerelease to check if the nu bers match up, but all in all the order doesnt really matter c:

Altho with the rereleases id give smaller groups, mistakes are easily made when theres that many different pete to count? Rerelease of 09 holds the most info on other pets like the shima and the wwa i think?

A most fair point, DD.
To be honest, doing July first wouldn't be too bad because we have already shown we can count a LOT of pets as a community, and there are only roughly 15k pets adopted in July. It will be September that's a larger pool.

Perhaps we could work on a FAQ/Getting Started on Counting section for the front post before we start counting our next month. There's lots of good information and tips in this thread that just need to be compiled.

Agreed. Once you learn some of the shortcuts, it's much easier to count pets efficiently/ correctly. I also believe July is a reasonable goal.

hm, well what I found difficult when I was completing my rows was entering all of the numbers into the sheets. If there is any shortcut to add a large quantity of numbers in a row, column,etc, may it be added to the FAQ please?
Shortcuts and extensions, just as a user has mentioned before, should be added with the purpose of making the process faster and easier to handle. The quicker we get the sheets in, the more pets we will be able to count!!:)

Write the first two numbers you need then highlight both and there's a little white triangle in the corner. Click and drag that down until you have all of the ones you need ^-^
