Pausing, Breeze squinted, thinking it over. Then, she did as he said and lashed out at more of an angle. Jumping as she felt vibrations emminating from Rex, she stared at him, attempting to decypher what he was doing. Shivering, she turned back to stance and waited for her next set of instructions. Looking around as she waited, she spotted Shard pacing around. Not saying anything, she set her gaze silently on the female trainee and watched- mostly out of curiosity.

Darkness sighed in annoyance as she waited for Saber to get the herbs. This fuss was all for nothing, she could take care of herself. But if it made the others happy, she supposed she could put up with the unnecessary drama. She relaxed in relief as Saber returned. Although Darkness refused to admit it to herself, she loved Saber like a little sister and was glad she had come to the group.

Rex followed Breeze's gaze and saw Shard up above. He grinned and yelled, "Hey Shard! We're all down here training, if you want to join us." He turned back to Breeze. "Great job! That's a perfect balance," he meowed slowly.

Saber walked back to Darkness and applied the burdock. "Here, eat this" saber said and passed Darkness the poppy seeds.

Eyeing the little round seeds, Darkness meowed, "Saber, I thought we covered the fact that I don't want to become a vegetarian." Although, contradictory to her comment, she grudgingly swallowed the tiny seeds.

Saber laughed lightly, " All better?" she asked.

"I'll have to be for tomorrow," she meowed. "Before I returned, I checked the borders and the trainees strayed over it. If I know those picky clan cats, they'll be here to threaten us tomorrow sometime. However, this time, they will not find us weak and mangy, but strong and at least equals, if not rivals," the sleek she-cat added.

The deaf cat tore her gaze from Shard to catch whatever fragments of words that Rex had been saying. A rumbly purr errupted in her throat, and she smiled, repeating the motion a few times until it grew less clumsy. "Next?"
She was eager to learn- this was interesting. However, Breeze could never imagine having to actually use it on anyone.

He walked over to Darkness and smiled a bit. "Why don't you take a break? Maybe go to sleep? I can watch camp for you."

Darkness sighed lightly. The day seemed to have just begun, yet it was almost over already. She shook her head softly. She trusted Bones immensely, but wanted to help oversee things. As leader, it was her job to take care of her cats and she refused to rest until the rest of the cats did. Maybe that's why you're so worn. a part of her commented. A part of her that Darkness's pride and stubbornness refused to listen to. "I can help handle it. There are so many things to be done, from making sure we have enough prey, to helping the apprentices," Darkness meowed. She began to list what needed to be done in her head, a habit she had fallen into and not a bad one at that. The apprentices needed help training, they needed to hunt more, they needed to prepare for the meeting, and they needed to share tongues later on. "Saber, how is your herb store?" Darkness asked thoughtfully, without her usual venom and sarcasm.

Rex thought to himself for a second. He glanced into the sky to see the time and was astonished. The sun would set soon. He meowed, "I can teach you how to do a stomach rake, but I'll need a volunteer."
