Foxstar paced around the clearing, dread aching through her body. She could hear the accusations of her clan around her, and felt pained by them. However, she felt she deserved the accusations. She had failed to protect her clanmates. All of this was inadvertently her fault. Why couldn't she have just caught the murderer before this all started? Foxstar pushed down her feelings of betrayal at her clan's distrust and stuck her chin high in the air. She would take this like a leader should. If they wanted her to leave then she would go without a fight. The leader glanced towards Breezefire, fairly certain that either she or her own daughter Sepiapads were the ones.

foxstar blinked, staring at the clan
forming underneath her. her fur prickled as they whispered names
around her. the she-cat flinched, hearing her name being thrown
around. her ears twitched, trying to pick up any other names. no,
her name was the loudest it wouldn't matter. in a few moments,
rosetail has collected the votes. a sad, almost grim nod told her
everything. with a sigh, the leader stood up.
"thank you riverclan, for allowing me to be leader for th-"
"murderer!" sepiapads flattened her eyes and unsheathed her claws.
rage and fear came off his in waves. foxstar shot a sad glance at
her kit.
"i am sorry you think that way, but i would never lay a claw on my
own kit."
"lies!" the she-cat looked as if she would pounce at her mother
in a second's notice. rosetail whipped around, blocking her from
foxstar.
"please leave, the clan has decided."
instead of putting up a fight, she slid down. "you will make a good
leader rosetail," she murmured, before taking one last look at her
clan. no. just a clan. foxstar said nothing, exiting the camp.

she would find her way into a group of loners around the twoleg
place. she'll become the leader of them, teaching them how to
hunt properly. still, she'd never forget her old clanmates and keep
her kits close to her heart.

your leader has been exiled. come on riverclan! you need to hurry
and find the murderer before it's too late! rosetail has taken her new
name, rosestar and appointed breezefire as her deputy.

softwing flattened her ears.
she had a feeling foxstar wasn't the murderer. she shifted in her nest,
eyes narrowing in the dark. most of the clan was asleep, others on
a nightly hunt rosetail has suggested. basically, she just wanted
everyone to take their mind off these problems. everyone agreed
with her. only a few cats were sleeping.
"hey." the warrior turned, noticing a cat at the entrance. "you
okay?"
"can't sleep," she confessed.
"same. wanna grab a bite with me?"
"sure," softwing purred, standing up. she trotted towards the
entrance. perhaps everything could be fine. together, the two
walked outside.
"you know, foxstar wasn't lying."
there was a flash of teeth and claws. softwing batted at the cat,
trying to overpower them. the shock was too much she failed,
collapsing in a mess of fur and crimson.
"bye, bye," the cat teased, slipping back into their own nest for
the night, leaving the warrior's body in the clearing.


riverclan! and innocent warrior is dead. how much longer will

Shadowfeather curled up near Rosestar, watching the entrance with intensity. After what had happened with Sepiapads she hadn't want to leave her side or confront the she-cat alone.

Breezefire just knew that Everybody would vote for her next exile, and she was feeling a little nervous. Why would she kill her own clanmates and her own kin? She felt as if she deserved it though, exiling wrong clanmate after wrong clanmate. Like Foxstar had done, she would go down with no fight, as she had exiled many innocent clanmates. She walked to her sister's burial, hoping she would get and answer to who the murderer was

Rosestar blinks sleepily, just waking up. Shadowfeather is still next to her and she breathes an internal sigh of relief. Her sister is safe. Maybe if they're lucky, Foxstar actually was the killer...

"Good morning Rosestar." Giving a weak smile the she-cat didn't want her sister to worry.
Because the clan lacked medicine cats her scratches had become infected... she had been attempting to hide the smell but she wasn't sure if her sister was fooled.
