Kiteclaw- 7/10 I haven't seen use of the prefix Kite- before! It's pretty cool, but the prefix and suffix together seem kinda off? Anyway it's a pretty good name!

Slugfur- 8/10 Ilike this one. The prefix slug- I find nice, for reasons unknown to me, and -fur doesn't really take away from it/shows her appearance.

Sagewhisker- 9/10 I really like this name! The prefix and suffix go really well together, and it sounds cool, too.

I have no/very little clue abound genetics, sorry. But from what limited knowledge I do have, I think the characters are okay.
-------
My names:

Rosepetal - A pinkish-red tabby she-cat with amber eyes, good at fighting and friendly.

Whitefire (star)-huge, solid white she-cat with green eyes and three scars stretching from the bottom of her ear to her muzzle. She is very good in combat.

Jayfang (Med cat)- I don't think I realized at the time that I was just mixing up the names of two canon medicine cats.

Rosepetal - 7/10. I like it, and it certainly fits her quite well. I personally feel it's a bit redundant, but that's just me, and otherwise it's a perfectly lovely name.

Whitefire - 9/10. This is a pretty cool name and reminds me of thunder. Very evocative; it fits her quite well and has good flow.

Jayfang - 10/10. I don't know why I like this name so much but it's just really great. :)

--

Rooknose - large tuxedo tom with amber eyes. Pragmatic, distant, and incredibly observant; he's an excellent tracker and often acts as a mediator whenever conflicts arise in his Clan.

Laureltail - small white tom with orange eyes. Playful, mischievous, and a bit too nosy for his own good, and he is incredibly agile and the Clan's best climber.

Shadeclaw - black tom with green eyes. Incredibly patient and perpetually relaxed; very little phases him. Beneath his calm surface, however, he is a fighting prodigy and never to be crossed with while in battle, though he is slow to anger.

      rooknose;;[9.5|10]
the name is pretty solid, however when i think of a rook, i think of solid black. the suffix matches his description and personality quite well.
      laureltail;; [8|10]
yet again, a nice solid name. i personally view laurel as matching a slightly grey colored molly, but it does work nicely with him. the suffix works well.
      shadeclaw;;[7|10]
while this name works well, it seems quite common. for the suffix, i'd suggest something suiting solid black instead of a darker grey, which is what i picture with shade-. I would suggest maybe a night-, black-. the suffix matches him perfectly and i have no comments.
      ---
bumblesong;; bumble is a large, furry tom with a light grey top pelt, tannish-brown under pelt, and dark grey stripes. he has noticeably large paws, ears, and tail due to his breed being a cross between maine coone and norwegian forest cat. he has large, yellow-cream eyes. he is quite energetic and loves to voice his opinion.
rainwatcher;; rain is a small, grey tom with a light tan-grey underside. he has lots of fluffy fur and large, sad blue eyes. he is quiet and insightful, and he would rather observe than partake in anything.
sneezetuft;; sneeze was born without a name for the first two moons of her life, but when her mother heard her consistent sneezing, she thought it would suit her best. she has long white fur and a slightly darker hue for her underside along with gentle ticks of the same color as her underside along her upper coat. she is very small, and considered weak. her fur is extremely long, and she has large tufts on her ears.

Bumblesong- 7/10, I like it! The prefix suits him quite well, and I like the suffix.
Rainwatcher- 8/10- The name suits him really well, though I'm not sure the prefix describes his appearance completely. The name really suits his personality, and has a nice ring to it c:
Sneezetuft- 6.5/10, The prefix sounds quite nice with her and her appearance, but I'm not sure about the sufix; I think I'd use something like -feather, -wing or -fur.
---------
My names:

Tallfoot- A tall, dark grey tom with one darker paw and amber eyes. His name is later changed to Halfnose, then changed back. He is quite friendly, and a fairly good fighter. He can get quite vicious when provoked. (I guess this sounds like a repeat Rosepetal... they hang out together too much)

Snowstorm- A white she-cat with blue eyes. She is kind, but has a sharp tounge when talking to her friends.

Mousefoot- A small, pale brown she-cat. She is an excellent fighter, dispite her size, and is very fast.

Tallfoot - 7/10 As a kit I don't see why he'd be named Tallkit but I do like the name :-) I'm curious as to why it became halfnose?
Snowstorm - 8/10 The prefix certainly suits a white cat and if she has a sharp tongue then storm makes sense
Mousefoot - 9/10 I love this name, small and fast, just like a mouse. Perfect

Thornfall - Dark brown tabby tom with black stripes, he is an ambitious andpower hungry tom with sharp claws. He has amber glowing eyes and rough spiky fur.
Thistlewing - A lithe, agile she-cat with similar coat to her brother Thornfall - a pale brown tabby with blak stripes and a white splash on her chest. She has striking green eyes.
Nightflash - A black sleek she cat with nimble paws, she is quite agile and fast and has striking blue eyes.

But that's none of my business...

Thornfall [6/10]: Not bad! I do wonder what -fall means though.

Thistlewing [7/10]: I like this one! tho, i do think that she could have a different prefix to match her coat, but. and i love -wing.

Nightflash [5/10]: hm. Prefix fits fine, tho if she's fast, you use -foot to get the same meaning.

--

(I am a traditional namer, tho I will occasionally back away from AIiuronymy's system and use my own).

Cardinalwhisker - a red classic tabby molly with green eyes. A formidable hunter, she is very good at hunting in the trees and helped develop the second layer of her clan's hunting technique.

Bearjaw* - a large, longfurred black molly with yellow eyes. Big and intimidating, Bearjaw is very sweet and loves her friends and family. She is a bit of a solitary cat, though, often being seen sitting by herself in camp. When someone is being threatened, Bearjaw is the first one to step in.

Sandear* - a shortfurred cream mackerel tabby tom with copper eyes. Sandear is bursting with energy, and is often loud and obnoxious. He has his ups and downs, and isn't afraid to let someone know how he feels; the quickest way to figure out how he is feeling is to look at his ears. This has gotten him into trouble more than once. He will probably settle down as he matures.

*jaw: to earn -jaw, a cat must show some traits of the animal they are named after. also, -jaw can ONLY be paired with an animal prefix. (ex: Bearjaw, Snakejaw, Deerjaw, etc.)
*ear: an -ear cat is a cat that has a dynamic and energetic personality. Cats use their ears to communicate various feelings.

Hello there, everyone! I am a semi-traditional namer, I normally use traditional prefixes and suffixes, but will occasionally sheen away from the methods. Ex: Sometimes I'll use -Blaze or Wolf- but very rarely ones like Soft- or Sweet- I will not rate traditionally if the name is non-traditionalThis is a really nice purple!!

Name Rates

Cardinalwhisker, 10/10, Great name! I love the influence she's had on her clan. c: My only concern is that the name is a little long, but imo, cats wouldn't care about flow and I don't know your personal opinion, so 10/10

Bearjaw, 10/10, Great name, and it fits her! Unfortunately, whenever a cat has an animal prefix I imagine them as that animal. Amusing sometimes, annoying other times.

Sandear, 10/10, :o An energetic warrior! We need more of those. Too many people act like cats above twelve moons are suddenly super mature. Sandear sounds a little bit like one word, though, but that's not really an issue. c:

Beechnose, A grey-brown tabby tom with green eyes and a white muzzle, chest, and paws. He is good at tracking and tries to soothe his and Loonfoot’s patients He is a bit blunt and overly-critical and is terrible at hunting. He is fascinated by dogs and frogs, and is unpredictable. He can run fast.
Beech- for his pelt, -nose for his tracking abilities
Traditional

Thrushwhisker, A grey-brown tom with a white underbelly and green eyes. He is good at detecting lies and has a fair sense of justice. Important! Please read if you know genetics! These cats are from a fanfiction, and I want to maintain a sense of realism, so if there is anything wrong with the genetics, Please tell me! Ex: Torties are hardly ever male, and if they are, they usually have 'problems' that could interfere with clan life, same with calicos, ect.

Also, if any of the descriptions are a little awkward, that is because they are taken from my fanfiction, some were loners and rogues and have been edited to receive a clan name

let me say that i really enjoy all of these names because they are quite traditional and they really fit each cat.
loonfoot; [9/10]
i am not particularly fond of the prefix, but i feel like her name goes well with her overall personality. sounds like a really interesting cat ^-^
beechnose; [10/10]
i can't find anything wrong with this name! i really like it.
thrushwhisker; [10/10]
again, this is a really good name. it fits his appearance and his hunting skill. i cant find anything wrong with it.

adderflight; a blue-eyed she-cat with long legs and a white chest. has a light brown pelt with faint tabby markings on her face and tail. was a loner before. is very fiery, and she is not afraid to voice her opinions. can run quickly for long distances.
adder- for her feistiness; -flight for her swiftness
hickorylight; a rather large, amber-eyed tom with a brown tabby pelt. he has a white chest and white paws. originally a loner found by a hickory tree, but the prefix also suits his appearance. he is always optimistic and cheerful, getting along with everyone.
hickory- for his appearance; -light for his bright outlook on life
littlestep; a small she-cat with a black pelt and yellow eyes. she is very quiet and always thinks things through. excellent at hiding and stalking, and is a good hunter.
little- for her small body size; -step for her careful and sneaky walking
rainclaw; a silver she-cat with slightly darker tabby marking. has a white underbelly and yellow eyes. she is very protective and has fast reflexes, and is good in battle.
rain- for her appearance; -claw for her good fighting skills

Hi there, raters! I try to be as traditional as possible with my names. Also, I use different cats each post I make on this thread. I use the help of these; Prefixes, and suffixes. Thank you.

Adderflight - 8.5||ten - The prefix fits the cat beautifully!
Regarding -flight, however, I see you used the suffix because she is swift-footed, but the suffix -foot already exists for that.

Hickorylight - 6.5||ten - Hickory trees don't grow in England (the original Warrior Cats setting), but if your cat is living elsewhere, I could see a sense in using that prefix.
I'm not quite so sure about -light, I see you used it for the way he looks at life, but really, Hickorycloud could be an alternative if there are no notable traits.

Littlestep - 10||ten - Name is perfect!

Rainclaw - 10||ten - Nothing wrong with this name.

traditional name(s);;

Morningstream - A fluffy light dappled ginger molly with bright amber eyes and white 'mittens'. Her leader decided on -stream because of her noticeably good swimming skills, and her ability to withstand a strong current for a reasonable amount of time.

Yarrowpelt - A snowy white tom with one yellow eye, the other green. He's an average cat with no outstanding skills, hence -pelt.

non-traditional name(s);;

Leafwhisper - Leafwhisper is a scrawny brown-and-white tom with blue eyes. His voice is nothing more than a hoarse whisper,
which his irritates his Clan. Usually he has to repeat himself more than twice.

Morningstream- 7/10, I wouldn't normally use the prefix, but it does suit her appearance, so I like it! Stream is a good suffix, especially because of the trait.

Yarrowpelt- 7.5/10, I like the name, but I'm not sure about the prefix, because I imagine a darker cat to have it. I like the suffix, though.

Leafwhisper- 8/10, I don't normally do non-traditional names, but I like this one! It reminds me of a falling leaf, and the prefix suits his appearance.

----------------------------------
My names:

Frostyfang (Med cat): A snowy white she-cat with pale grey paws and long whiskers. She has pale blue eyes.

Asterclaw: A brown tabby tom with a short pelt like 'dappled sunlight filtered through trees.' (That description was very pretentious, but it was his mate who said it xD) He is quite gentle, and has long claws. He has hazel eyes.

Copperheart: A relatively small, copper-coloured tom with short fur. He is kind, and intelligent. (Copper refers to the colour, not the ore.)
