Emeraldtail decided to go for a walk through the camp. She came across Jaypaw, and began to think. 'There has to be a way to fix his memory, right?'

She was looking through the herbs and talking with herself slightly. She was counting and made sure to check stock of the herbs. She started to pull out the old herbs that have gone bad.

He chickeld and nodded, "alright. Is there anything in particular you wanted to do or learn today?" He hummed just seeing if she did.

She didn't know what to do anymore. She walked out of camp to get a drink and think. Jaypaw was the only cat that stayed with her. He had forgotten her and their bond was gone, she knew avoiding the problem wouldn't solve it.

She thought for a few moments then nodded. "Yeah," she got up and smiled. She shouldn't keep him cooped up in the den, "let's go outside."

Emeraldtail padded after her mother, wanting to talk about Jaypaw. She nosed her way into the medicine cat den, sitting next to Blossomstar. "Could I speak with you?" She asked.

"Can we do anything for him?" She asked, turning to the medicine cat. She looked at her mother. "Jaypaw lost his memory and can't remember anything..." She quickly explained. "And it doesn't help him, being blind as well."

"You can train a cat even if they forget something. It's not like they have short term memory and forget everything in a few seconds. His memory could be recovered but I don't know how, something could trigger it and it could be anything. A cat doesn't need eyes to see," she felt bad for the apprentice and felt slightly angry that Blossomstar was saying he is good as useless. "Briartail can still train him but it would probably be longer than a normal apprentice."

"That's not it, he is not forgetting anything for the past few days other then when he did first forget. He remembers, the only thing he forgot is his pasted life. He won't forget, I know this and we don't know that. It could be something simple to trigger the memories, it is like a pebble blocking a stream. If we don't try then his life is like nothing, you underestimate what a cat can do if you don't give them a chance. Starclan isn't a powerful force that can magically make a cat remember, they have limits like we do. They are doing what they can, they guide us and I believe in them. You can't put blame on starclan and you can't not give Jaypaw his rights of being an apprentice. Briartail is his mentor and decides what he can and can't do," she puffed her chest feeling irritated with the leaders choice of words.

She sighed and sat down and put a paw onto her head. Starclan wouldn't know how to trigger his memory, there isn't anything else wrong with the clan other then the apprentice. She got up and walked out of the medicine den and out of camp. Maybe she could find some answers or peace while gathering herbs. She did not mean to pressure the leader nor did she think she was. She sighed once again, the two closest cats to starclan who could talk with them are the leader and medicine cat. So what did the leader mean by she couldn't ask them herself. She shook her head and watched where she was going.

because I have Grasspaw to train, as well as patrols to organize. But I can see if Brairtail will help, being that Jaypaw is her apprentice." She told Silvertail.

"Could we hunt?" She asked, eagerly. "I love hunting!"

Duskkit and Flowerkit were wailing, and Mintfeather was almost screeching. "PLEASE SLEEP!" She exclaimed. The kits continued to wail. "Please help me!"
