I believe they'd need a mainlist a tier or two below yours, but I'm a little shaky on tier gaps so you'll probably want a second opinion!

Yes it's fair. The nick cake dog is a tier 5 and a tier 5 advent goes for 75c$. But I also agree with you, I value pets more than chicken dollars. It's also hard to trade back on the list.
