Her markings are actually quite common among females and some males in her family.
They don't actually do anything but to her and her family they are kinda like a sign of a kind and
great healer/gardener. her great-great grandmother was very kind and was know for knowing many
healing herbs/plants and was skilled at growing them. because she was so well know and helped so
many others that once she had little ones when one of them had the markings people would say " Oh,
you must be a healer like your mother/grandmother/etc.? ". And ironically most of the young ones with
these marking wanted to be likes her and ended up doing just that.
So to Sage it's a symbol of her family's long and rich history much like a family crest.
