- Wanted to be like parents so made his own jacket out of what ever material he could find and kept it as he grew older (Something like this maybe?)

My father steps towards me, the harsh laboratory lights illuminating his eerie grin.
"Dear. You know you aren't allowed in daddy's lab." he says, narrowed eyes creepily contradicting his sadistic smile.
"Dad. I needed you. When I call and call, and you don't answer..." I trailed off, not wanting to make things worse. My father scared me when he was angry. He would get all riled up. He's such a hypocrite. He always goes on and on about how he needs utmost respect, and then laughs when I tell him my problems. I would say I hat him but-
"Well, then call me. You have a phone," he interrupted my thoughts. He began pacing around me, circling like a hungry shark. "You have technology. You know the only reason I got you that piece of..." He mumbled angrily there, then focused back on me. "The only reason i got you that was so you could call me. But you don't. Do I need to ask my plants to come tonight?"
I looked up at this threat, eyes widening. The plants? Last time...
"yes. The plants." Again, my father interrupted me. And now, he came close, shoving his head up against mine. "The plants will come. You don't want that, do you?"
I took a step back, and forced myself to be calm. "Dad, the only reason I use the "technology" is to call you, but you never pick up, ever." I looked down at my feet, eyes tracing the grooves in the tile. I jerked my head up as a hand roughly grabbed my chin and pushed it up. He glared at me, then snarled.
"Oh, so this is my fault?" His breathing was fast, eyes narrowing as he stepped closer. "Leave. Now. Go to your room."
My eyes widened, but then I snarled back, "NO." It ripped through the room, echoing thrououtg the large space. Looking at my father's shocked expression, I realized my mistake. But not before he had brought his paw across my face with a stinging slap.
"Don't you dare speak to me that way." Looking up through one eye from the cold floor, I could see his back was turned. His voice eerily calm as he spoke, I began to crawl away from him.
"I'll only tell you once more. Leave."
With a roar, he turned back to me, and began screaming. "LEAVE! LEAVE! NEVER COME DOWN HERE AGAIN! YOU HAVE NO PLACE HERE! YOU MUST NEVER B-"
I quickly ran upstairs, tears coming to my eyes, before he could finish his sentance. With a sob, i crumpled to the floor of my room.
