war is coming,
war is crying out!
The world is shaking,
the sky is falling down - the sky is falling down!
into the darkness - we are one.
into the darkness - we all must run.
into the darkness - we'll burn a light.
into the darkness - we all must fight, we all must fight!
Somethings coming,
somethings on its way...
Mountains are crumbling
like statues of clay - somethings on its way..!
into the darkness - we are one.
into the darkness - we all must run.
into the darkness - we'll burn a light.
into the darkness - we all must fight, we all must fight!

The streets in these parts used to be packed with people. With people come their companions - dogs. For a while everything was more or less peaceful, the strays stayed out of the pampered pet's way and vice versa. It wasn't until the people started vanishing that things got tricky. The humans left behind those they loved - the once pampered pooches of the slums turned into nothing more then the mangy mutts who ruled the streets. Within a few months packs began to form and the two most prominent were the Fallenwall and the Hallowedtunnel. The Fallenwall resided on the north side while the Hallowedtunnel took the south. For a long while there they didn't need to cross paths, there was plenty of slum to go around but with humans steadily leaving and the rain ceasing to exist, it became harder to survive. Now the humans are all gone - they've moved onto to bigger and better places.. no one wants to spend their life locked away in a slum. Rain hasn't come in months and it's getting more difficult to find food and drinkable water. The ocean to the east provides the occasional fish but nothing more.. it's a taunting thing, that endless expanse of poisoned water..
The Fallenwall and Hallowedtunnel are about to cross paths and it won't be a pretty sight.. who's side are you on?

King fallenwall alpha
location ; camp - near the hallowtunnel border
tags ; kalani & camille | mentions ; axilyah
King paced over the railroad tracks and ran his tongue over his droopy lips. He had been awake for a while now, calmly watching the sun rise above the slum's buildings. His thick, whip like tail curled around, resting on one of his massive front paws. The brute had been calmly sitting and thinking - plotting out his day's events. He was growing weary of being woken by his stomach growling every morning or of his lips being cracked and in pain from being so thirsty. Why should Hallowtunnel, those mangy dogs, have access to the once flourishing forest when the Fallenwall were obviously the stronger of the two?
"Kalani! Camille!" King's bark bellowed out through his camp either waking or calling the attention of the two dogs he'd called. He waited just long enough to ensure they were close enough to hear him before he said, "You're both joining me on a patrol."
"Axilyah!" he hollered, "Camp is in your paws."
With a glance over his beta and pack member King turned and left his camp behind him. Kalani and Camille would follow, he knew that much and only Kalani would be brave enough to bother King with questions when he was so set and ready to go this morning. The alpha moved fluidly through the slums, ears listening intently for any signs of mice, rabbits or other small critters that could potentially give his pack a bite or two to eat.
Without warning the great dane mix stopped and sat on his haunches. Lifting his nose to the air he took in a deep breath, "We're going hunting today." he spoke to the two following him, "Hallowtunnel deserves less then we do." he stood and paced right over the territory line. Standing on the Hallowtunnel territory he looked over his shoulder, "You two ready?"
Sirenihallowtunnel member
location ; camp - beach
tags ; n/a | mentions ; Anubis, Dante
Sireni woke on her back with her paws in the air, tongue lolling from her jaws. She was just outside the pack's empty storm drain knowing that Anubis liked to keep that nasty thing for himself and she was fine with that. She liked the open air and fresh smells outside of the storm drain rather then her nose being plugged by old, stale scents. The fae rolled over and in one swift motion was on her paws and shaking her dappled pelt out. She stretched her forepaws in front of her, wiggling her haunches for a second as she split her jaws in a wide yawn. Gathering herself Eni glanced around camp - everyone was either asleep, waking or somewhere else and that gave Eni the opportunity to do just what she wanted.
The aussie mix strutted out of camp quickly and steadily before Dante could say anything about the plans for the day. How Eni hated being told what to do, when to do it and how to do it. It was usual for this girl to sneak out as soon and as quickly as she could.
Sireni trotted through the city, ignoring the rumbling of her stomach and the sticky feeling in her mouth. She hopped over clutter the humans left behind when they abandoned the slums and had a bit of fun trotting across benches, knocking over the now empty trash cans or kicking trash out in front of her. It didn't take the dog long to reach her destination - the unclaimed beach.
She broke into a sprint when her paws touched the sand - she loved it here. Racing up and down the shore for several long seconds she eventually turned and trotted into the ocean shore, enjoying the feeling of the waves lapping at her toes. Parting her jaws the dog remembered how painfully thirsty she was and she momentarily glared at the waters at her paws, wishing so desperately that she could lap at the water.
A deep sigh fell form the female as she lowered herself into a lay, allowing the water to soak her thick fur. Feeling the cool seep into her every bone the female tilted her head toward the shore's edges hoping to see some form heading her way.

Soft rays of sun woke Kalani up by hitting her eyelids and gently warming her slender body. Although it was disturbing and she could've slept longer, the saluki prefered sleeping outside, under the moonlight. Besides, last days were really hot and every night was a relief and an escape from the beaming sun. She rose up to her long fours lazily, stretched, and yawned, exposing all of her teeth. Then, her amber eyes scanned her pack's territory to see whether others were already up. Some of them were, but most of the dogs were still sleeping. Kalani lowered her black nose to the dried, cracked ground and sniffed it. Then, the fae rose her head up highly and let the warm, morning wind bring scents to her from the outside of the territory. As she expected, her nostrils recognised the bitter scent of Hallowtunnel dogs. The wind was coming from the direction of their area, so it wasn't surprising that it brought the smell here. She sat on her haunches. She'd keenly go on a morning run and patrol, but the fae knew she shouldn't. There was a very low amount of water and it would only make her thirsty. She licked her dry lips and scratched her right floppy ear.
Suddenly, Kalani heard a powerful bark and knew the voice belonged to King - the fallenwall alpha. The saluki turned her head and perked her ears, getting up and trotting towards the great dane mix brute, listening carefully to his words.
The beta nodded her head in agreement and followed the leader, her thin, but muscular legs softly hitting the ground and her long tongue lolling out of her mouth. Just like King, the fae glanced around to see if there were any rodents or reptiles that they could quickly catch. But there was no luck at the moment, everything around seemed to be asleep, probably because of the lack of drinkable water. She almost bumped into the alpha, but fortunately, she stopped immediately after noticing that he sat down. She sniffed the floor and sneezed when dust tickled her nostrils. She realised they were on the territory border.
The saluki tilted her head and looked at the alpha questioningly, wondering what he meant, before King finished his sentence. Kalani didn't support the idea of putting themselves into conflict with the rivaled pack, but the leader had a point. It was for the good of their own pack and it was the priority. "Yes," She spoke calmly after a moment of silence and took a step forward, entering the hallowtunnel territory "I am." Said Kalani "But are you sure this is the right thing?" She asked carefully, trying not to sound as if she was undermining his decisions. Kalani lowered her head respectfully to the brute and then glanced at Camille, awaiting her answer. She took a deep breath through her mouth, hoping it won't put them into much trouble.

axilyah had awoken before dawn, nightmares of the past plaguing his restless nights. he had only spoken to one other canine about it, and no one else needed to know as far as he was concerned. it was his business; he had simply confided in his closest friend, who also happened to be the alpha of his pack. rising to sit on his haunches, the hulking brute poked his broad apex out through gap between the door of his small unit and the train tracks, studying the skyline as the gradient of hues faded into a gentle sky blue. spotting king, the stud waited as he organized his patrol, nodding his approval as he was called upon to watch the camp by his younger superior. this was his duty after all; to watch over the camp when his alpha was away, and he was proud to do so. why wouldn't he be? this was his home, and the canines all around him? he considered them family.
"you got it, runt!" axil called after him, a devilish grin splitting across his cracked obsidian chops as the younger male began to prowl down the tracks, kalani and camille in tow. shouldering his way through the gap, the male narrowed his pale oculars against the sun's rays, squinting in order to give his pools time to adjust to the gradually brightening light. taking notice of his disheveled coat, axilyah began grooming away the grime and disarray, settling down on his abdomen once he deemed himself finished. satisfied with the state he was in, the brute was then discomforted by the snarl of outrage that sounded from his stomach, demanding it was to be fed. "I know, I know." the cane corso grumbled bitterly in response, attempting to shake off his hunger like one would a minor pest. though he would never admit it if confronted, axil had a habit of leaving his kills for the rest of his pack, refusing to eat until everyone else had been fed before picking at what was left of the meals his pack had eaten.
