Swanstar frowned slightly, shaking her head softly. ''it was terrible, I don't want to ever recall how they tore him down.'' she replied. ''All you need to know now is that I'm the leader of Tumbleclan.'' Swanstar murmured.


The ginger tabby slipped through the crowd and spotted Bleakpelt up ahead. Her old friend was looking terribly lonesome and with a big smile, she approached him. ''Hey Bleakpelt!'' Rosefur chirruped, bounding up to him. ''Uh,
hey Rosefur.'' Bleakpelt replied, flicking his tail in acknowledgment. ''You alright, Bleakpelt?'' she inquired, concerned for him. ''Yeah, just thinking.''came his quiet response. Rosefur was not convinced but nonetheless she did not question him further. Looking away from him, she spotted a familiar figure. ''Aspenheart!'' she cried out loud, charging up to him. ''Aspenheart!''


Smokefur grinned and nodded her head. ''Greetings to you too, Rowanpelt.'' The proud tabby flicked her tail thoughtfully. ''Any tips for a new deputy here, or nah?'' she asked.

The leader felt apprehensive as the TumbleClan molly stared at and greeted her, the white she-cat looked as strong and powerful as she always been, and Mintstar would've been impressed had she not been so suspicious about her sudden appearance in the heart of the forest where she was surrounded by Clans that hated her own. Mintstar was glad WitherClan wasn't here, recalling how much they hated TumbleClan, she only hoped that with them back the Gathering would progress without any threat of fighting. The PineClan leader bowed her head respectfully in greeting, quiet as Squirrelstar asked Swanfoot what she was going to ask herself. Mintstar's eyes widened as she heard the news of Sagestar's death coming from her, she never imagined the tom would have died during the moons his Clan had left. "StarClan bless him, he walks in their skies now." She meowed.

All at once the gray tabby felt the entire world slow down as the achingly familiar voice met his ears, stars he wished that she did not sound so cheerful as she called his name. Aspenheart could feel his heart hammering in his chest as he turned to face the ginger she-cat he hadn't seen in moons, a smile on his face that covered the underlying guilt he felt over remembering the lie he told to her before she left. "Rosefur!" He responded, feeling his brother's eyes on his back as he began to speak to the TumbleClan cat. "You're a sight for sore eyes!" Aspenheart meowed, recalling the casual way he used to greet her whenever they met, hoping that if perhaps he acted the way he did before his false confession would make her forgot it.

Swanstar nodded deeply. ''Indeed he does.'' She murmured. ''However, I believe it does no good to dwell on the past, Mintstar.'' Swanstar added, sitting straight and proud. The snow-white cat was pleased to have them under her paw, pleased to have convinced them both of Sagestar's sudden demise. ''And now...what's happened since our leaving?'' Swanstar inquired.


Rosefur chuckled brightly and beamed at him. Aspenheart looked handsome and as charming as he'd been those couple of moons ago, with his strangely charming ruggedness and that aura about him. ''As are you!'' Rosefur sighed. ''I've missed you, Aspenheart, I really have.'' She recalled the rainy and stormy moment that they had together. It was terrible and she had been grateful for the rain, it masked her tears.

the clan gathered and chose cats to go to the gathering very quickly and head off soon after. the cats chosen to go were of course willowstar, brackenheart and maplewhisker and for the warriors they brought eaglestrom and fluffyberry. once the cats arrived after their small journey sedgeclan's representatives started to spread out and chat with cats from the other clans.

"im guessing your clan has been to many gatherings before? this is my second." she said before she turned around to see the she-cat squirrelstar asked where her leader was. "im not sure who sagestar is but may he rest peacefully in starclan." she meowed to swanstar.

"thats great! we still dont have many but we dont have any injuries needing cobwebs at the momment. our queen is supposed to kit next moon and im worried because it'll be through leaf-bare.

the two cats head out together even though fluffyberry refused to chat. maplewhisker was with her which comforted her a bit but she was still overwhelmed by all these cats. maplewhisker searched for someone they could talk with.

eaglestorm walked over to another tom who looked as if he was also a warrior. eaglestorm tried to start conversation. "hello, im eaglestorm of sedgeclan. who are you?" he introduced himself.

the leader and his deputy tumbled into the gathering place, their pelts wet and their paws sore from walking on the frosty ground. greystar smiled to sootshade, and received an excited look in return.

greystar immediately started looking for pixiestar, whom he had chatted with last time. he couldn't spot her.

sootshade looked around, and was surprised to see this many cats in one place. it was his first time here, but unlike greystar had been, he wasn't nervous. just excited, and pumped up.

Honeystar glanced around and was pleasantly surprised to see a familiar leader. What was her name...right. Emberstar, she thought. "Hello, Emberstar!" she exclaimed out loud. "It's good to see you again. How's the prey running in Leafclan?"

Birchnose immediately made her way to where the deputies were and saw a tom purring loudly. She padded up to him and sat next to him. "Hi," she said. "Everything seems to be going well for you, I see?"

Crowcloud turned his head to look at the newcomer. He chuckled too. "Yeah, I thought it would be really easy too. But so far, no one's gotten sick, so I must be doing something right!" He remembered just then that he hadn't introduced himself and did so quickly. "I'm Crowcloud of Forestclan, by the way. I've been a part of Forestclan for..." He tried to remember how many moons it had been, but it felt like forever. "I don't know," he said finally. "Two or three seasons. It was hard to adjust at first, but once you get into the rhythm, clan life is nice."

Duckpelt and Acornstream grinned at each other. "Sounds like you have some great qualifications--and recommendations!" said Acornstream teasingly.

Duckpelt's whiskers twitched in amusement. "Is Hickoryclan new? I haven't seen or heard much of you. Forestclan is also fairly new; we've only been around for a couple of seasons but we have many warriors and some apprentices." My kits, she thought proudly. All four of my kits are apprentices.

Snowfoot spotted a cat from one of the recently-arrived clans. She started moving towards them, and Applenose followed, not eager to be left behind.

"Hi!" she said. "What's your name? I'm Snowfoot of Forestclan, and this is Applenose." Applenose nodded in greeting, glancing around. Nothing much else was happening, and it was all just talk for now. Too bad he didn't see Tigerpaw and the other Caveclan apprentices; he'd love to talk to them at that moment. But at least he was meeting with someone new!

As he glanced around, Applenose's eyes brightened when he saw Tigerpaw and Mistpaw. "Sorry," he said to Snowfoot and the other cat. "Gotta go." He hurried over to the two apprentices, before coming to a quick stop.

"Hi!" he exclaimed. "I'm a warrior now! My ceremony was a couple moons ago. What's new in Caveclan?"

After separating from their parents, Boulderpaw practically tugged her sister to where a young tom was sitting, clearly bored.

"Let's go talk to him!" said Boulderpaw eagerly.

"Sure," said Dustpaw in a sarcastic monotone. "He seems really nice." To her, the tom seemed surly and not at all the kind of person she'd like to meet, but she went along with her sister simply because it was easier than arguing. Let Boulderpaw win this argument; Dustpaw was sure that the tom wouldn't want to talk. Or maybe she'd be wrong and pleasantly surprised. That happened on occasion.

"Hi!" Boulderpaw said once they reached him. "I'm Boulderpaw and this is my sister, Dustpaw. We're from Forestclan. Where are you from?"

As Applepaw came over, the pair looked up. "Warrior!? Already!?" Tigerpaw exclaimed, a hint of jealousy flashing over his face. Meanwhile, Mistpaw gave a pleased purr. "Congratulations! I wish I could say I'm a warrior too but my ceremony is planned for tomorrow evening."

"Yeah!" exclaimed Applenose. "I've only been a warrior for about a moon, though. It's hard. It's not just training; now there's all the hunting and patrolling that has to be done. At least I didn't get an apprentice! That would be just too much." He smiled at Mistpaw. "Well, congrats on almost being a warrior. Do you know what your name might be?" He suddenly remembered that he hadn't told Tigerpaw and Mistpaw his warrior name. "And I forgot! My warrior name is Applenose. 'Cause I'm a good tracker. Not as good as Birchnose, though. Someday."

Cloudstar's ears went back and he looked away in embarrassment "All I did was tell you what I knew." he muttered before looking at her again "Though I am glad you are here now, I missed you." he murmured to her. Then he remembered what he was going to ask "Oh! Before I forget I would like to offer an alliance to your clan, what is the name of your clan anyways?" he had not realized he never got the name of the clan when they met at the whisper tree.
