Regalheart nodded. "Sure, I need some rest." He purred.


A strike of shock surged through Owltuft. He dragged himself to Sagestar's den immidetatly. "Sagestar! I have a bad feeling, like something terrible just happened..." He said, worried. That's when it hit him. Hollypaw had not returned yet. "Hollypaw..."

He felt Tigerstrike's fur brush his, and felt her touch his ear to comfort them. "Thank you Tigerstrike." He sniffed, tears still streaming down his face. "Should we bury him? He deserves a warrior's burial." He said putting his muzzle back into the kit's cold fur.

She stared over at him. She did hate him, she really did but... he didn't deserve to suffer. She stepped forward. No cat deserved such a slow and painful death.

"Of course." Tigerstrike lifted her head for a moment to see Owltuft's tailtip poking out of Sagestar's den. "I'll tell Sagestar in a little," she murmured before she faced the kit again, closing her eyes.

"Take care of our Kits Briar...Make them big and strong, like you...! Don't let them grow hatred inside of them. They will grow to be fine warriors...or loners...Briar...I love you..." He spoke softly, exhaling slowly, and fixed his eyes onto the night sky, and went still.
