Short Description → Shellstreak was born two a pair of loners. They had a den near the river, close enough for the kits to play in the shallows if their parents were watching. His father had a severe mental disorder called Intermittent Explosive Disorder which only got worse as he got older. Shellstreak was only around three or four moons old when his mother decided to go out and hunt, leaving the kits with their father. During her hunt, Shell's father suffered a horrible attack outburst of anger when the kits asked him to play to much. Not realizing what he was doing, he ended up drowning Shell's only sister. He would've succeeded with Shell had his mother not returned at that time. Horrified and angry, she drove off the tom. He didn't return and later, his body was found at the edge of the thunderpath. Afterwards, Shell became terribly sick and his mother ended up taking him to the clan when she realized he wasn't going to get better on his own. Shell and his mother stayed in the medicine den while he recovered and they ended up joining after a moon or two. Shell's mother was killed by a badger a few moons after he before his warrior ceremony.

Being old enough to have remembered the terrible events with his father, Shell is traumatized and refuses to go ankle deep into any body of water. He's a very nervous, jumpy tom, only comfortable with a few select cats. His fear of water is well known among the clan of cats who adore water and he's become very sensitive about this. He worries often about what the rest of the clan thinks about the tom who can't swim. Because of this, he's trying to overcome his fear and fit in with the rest of his clan.

Short Description → A dark brown tom with mottled darker patches. His eyes are bright amber and his teeth are incredibly sharp compared to other warriors. His muzzle is black and he has a black striped tail. His fur is quite thick and is reasonably waterproof making him an excellent swimmer. He tends to stick to herself and doesn't really want kits as he has aspirations of becoming the deputy of the clan someday and doesn't want to be responsible for looking after kits as he knows that it would distract him. However he isn't opposed to the idea of having a mate, someone who will always be there for him, tom or she-cat. His fighting skills and loyalty to the warrior code are renowned throughout the clans.

quiet.

lilypool rolled around in her nest.
she was accustomed to quiet in riverclan
every night. but silence was different.
she did not welcome it. the medicine cat
flattened her ears and pulled herself up.
perhaps a walk can help she decided, arching
her back in a stretch. not wishing to wake the
tired clan. lilypool twitched her ears, noticing
the shadow of a tail. curious, she slowly
followed it. "hey," she whispered, slipping out of
camp. "you." annoyed, she tracked down the cat
towards to river. "what are you do-" there was no
warning as the riverclan cat whipped around,
slashing her neck and tackling her to the ground.
in a few moments, the medicine cat was collapsed
on the riverbank. "ha," the murderer breathed,
watching the light fade from her eyes. they washed
themselves quickly in the river before returning to
the all too quiet camp. the first kill of many was
completed.
