Rex sighed. He had been enjoying himself. But he didn't want to let down Saber so he came. But not without a mutter of, "Darness likes hunting alright, she certainly likes hunting your pelt." He walked along behind the gray she-cat and curiously wondered how she kept her balance with a tail like that.

Lucky for Rex Saber heard nothing of his abnoxious comment, for she was too busy thinking about wether or not she was going to attempt to sneak up on and startle Darkness. In the end she decided she didn't want to risk pushing Darkness over the edge. She padded up too Darkness "Hey Darkness you wanna go hunting?, we can also get those poppy seeds you were so worried we were gonna run out of" she joked.

Darkness rolled her eyes at Saber, the she-cat could be overwhelming. "I'll come, just because if you get eaten by a badger I want to see it," she meowed in her most annoyingly pleasant voice. She turned to Bones and much more kindly said, " Bones, I know you just got back. Would you mind watching camp for a bit?"

He... changed a little when Darkness spoke to him. His harsh eyes lit up and a soft, quiet purr rumbled in his throat. He didn't understand why she was kinder with him, a bit more gentle, but he definitely didn't mind. "Course' I wouldn't mind. Have a nice time. I'll miss ya." He hadn't realized what he had said until a few seconds later. Bones blushed under his fur.

Darkness//She-cat//leader

"Thanks," Darkness meowed. She had known Bones longer than any of these cats, and would have trusted him with her life. He was just that kind of cat that you could trust through thick and thin. Saber was rather immature, but Darkness knew her serious 'Let's get something done' side as well. It just took a major issue to bring it out. She was sure that Rex and Breeze could be trusted as well, Darkness had known them since they were kits, but they were young yet and had lots to learn. Despite her prickly demeanor, Darkness was very loyal and would lay her life down for any of them in a heartbeat. She just hoped they knew that. "So, since you called this group, where are we going? To the fringe of the forest for poppy seeds? If we are, we better make sure Larkclan doesn't notice," Darkness meowed to Saber.
(That's fine, I'll be away in June sometime. By the way, don't mind my role play streaks with LadyThumbs, she's my real-life best friend.)

Breeze/Female/8 moons/Deaf/Crush; Rex/Healer Trainee/Tags; All

As she was about to respond, Saber came prowling up to the pair and spoke
Breeze squinted. All she caught from reading was "want" and "hunting". She only nodded. Her throat was raw and she had ho heart to ignore her mentor. "Cant hunt.." She choked out, "Try it too.." Her raspy voice was tired and strained, but she just followed suit, padding along behind Rex and Saber. She didnt voice her questions on the fact that the camp would only have one guard, or the fact that she was worthless at both hunting and guarding in the first place. But, with a sigh, she followed anyways. Breeze felt a little guilty about leaving Boneblood behind, but she didnt speak about that.

He quietly walked over to a sunny spot by the camp entrance. It was warm and he quickly settled into his sunbathing spot. From here he could guard, and be toasty. His tail wavered contently.

Rex heard Breeze's rasps, and looked at the younger she-cat in concern. She obviously couldn't hunt because of her impairments, and Rex pitied her. Being his normally, bold self he meowed to Saber, "I don't think Breeze can hunt very well Saber, it would be rather difficult if you couldn't hear the prey scampering. I could take her to get poppy seeds by the edge of the forest if you'd permit me." He looked over to Breeze and said softly, "And if you wouldn't mind some company."

"Sure Bones that's fine, me and Darkness will go hunting and you and Breeze can go gather some poppy seeds, I'd go with you to make sure you get the right amount but the prey pile is gettin kinda low" the she-cat replied "So, shall we be off?" She asked.

At first, the shecat was a little stunned. From what she caught, he would be accompanying her. Him- go with her; the deaf healer trainee? How did that all happen. Shrugging it off, she smiled and nodded. "I know count," her quiet voice seemed to lack an echo in the shaded forest. "Lets go.." She glanced at Rex, then turned tail to head to where she usually got poppy seeds- along the Larkclan border. After the pair was a ways away from the hunting duo of their leader and her mentor, she brought her yellow eyes to look at him briefly as they walked. "Thank you. I apologize for pulling from hunt.." Breeze felt remorse, though, she wasnt sure if he wanted to hunt or not. However, she was sure he most likely did not want to spend his time retrieving poppy seeds with a deaf shecat.
