Shouldn't the event have started? The 18th is almost over and I've seen none of the promised event stuff, aside from cheaper pokeballs (I think they are cheaper?).

One of the PokeStops near me turned into a gym, and now there's a new stop on the nearby elementary school's property. Kind of a weird change, don't think the stop has a good place there.

The event started! Caught an Aerodactyl and Shuckle. Love the new hat.

My goals for this event:
- going from 43 Kabuto candy to 50 so that I can finally evolve it
- get my first Aerodactyl
- get enough Slugma candy to evolve it (started with 10 candy)
- get enough candy to evolve 2 Rihorn (started with 64 candy)
- find some Larvitars to at least evolve it once

Would be nice, but not a real goal:
- get enough candy to evolve Onyx again (have 23 now)

When I logged in, I immediately got 3 chikorita candies, bringing her up to 100 finally~ evolving my bayleef now!

Since I'm not missing any 1km buddy evolutions, I wanted to work on the 2nd gen 3km ones (phanpy and houndour mostly), but realized my dratini is at 87 so now that's top of my list!

Cri, I saw a wild Aerodactyl in my town, it never spawned. At least I hatched one ;;

Omg an Aerodactyl popped up for me and I caught it! I was out of great and ultra balls so I used a normal ball and a Razzberry. That was the second one that came up on my sightings list and I didn't think much of it till it came up.
I've still yet to find Shuckle, Onyx, or Omanyte but I've gotten plenty of everything else rock related. Hopefully I can evolve something
