Sweetnose Mastiffs are a large working breed that are guard, hunting, and companion dogs. They require a fair amount of energy, meaning they are not suitable for sitting in a home all day unless the owner expects chewed up furniture. Sweetnose Mastiffs are very affectionate and friendly, although generally intimidating; they are quite intelligent and are eager to please, making them a good pet for those in active lifestyles.

▪ Please avoid double posting or spamming! Marks are fine and allowed
▪ Be polite! No drama, gossip, whining, guilt tripping, ect...
▪ Try to take any 1x1 conversations to pm [as to prevent spam!]
▪ Try to keep it generally sweetnose related: you can post here, even if you don't own one!
▪ Respect everyone and keep things fun! If there's a problem, alert staff!
▪ Rules are subject to change or be added as needed

Now that most of the Sweetnose Mastiff information is updated, we have a special contest for everyone. A banner competition!
The banner would be the official banner for Sweetnose Mastiffs, meaning it would be the head piece of every official thread; including the main one! This not only means your art would be seen by all Sweetnose Mastiff members, but also be the center piece for the species! We also would like to reward both the main winner and a secondary winner with the following prizes:


Grand prize
Full custom
Any accessory of choice (collar, bandanna, harness, etc); includes combination
Future breeding slot to both mascots

Second prize
Semi-custom
Collar, bandanna, or harness; includes combination
Future breeding slot to either mascot



Now for the banner specifics! For the banner, all artists will have artistic liberty. However, there are a few things the banner must include:

- Both mascots, Anastasius and Anastasia
- 'Sweetnose Mastiffs' written somewhere
- Maximum width of 700 px
- Maximum height of 400 px; Minimum of 200px

Otherwise, everything is up to you! You may anything, such as more words or more sweetnose mastiffs, but the minimum required is that of what is above. There is no preferred or required style! If you need clarification on anything feel free to ask! The end date for this is June 11th at 11:59 PM EST.

I also have exciting news as well to share! I would like to introduce our new mascots; meet Anastasius and Anastasia!


Both were designed by our lovely artist and fellow admin Neah Walker! Now that most everything is set up, soon we can start working on all the rewards promised from gator's previous event and get everything caught up to speed!
