(Standby for exile)
The Exile wrote:The clan was growing more and more furious as they discovered
the body of yet another clanmate. Bullfrog-throat was indeed,
dead. The clan was anxious to exile the killer and in this case
the clan was more split. With some voting for their leader,
Moonstar, and others voting for Sandflower. In the end, however,
it was clear who the clan no longer trusted.
"Minnowpaw." Moonstar spoke, her voice eerily calm, "You
must leave the clan." Before she had finished speaking Conchpaw
spoke up,
"Yeah murderer! How could you kill a weak, ill cat like
Bullfrog-throat? She was our medicine cat!" The young tom
cried out, clearly upset and grieving.
"It can't have been Minnowpaw!" A new voice spoke up
among the madness. Softwing. "I know him. He would never do
that! If he is being exiled then so am I. He is my brother. I won't
let him go alone!"
Having made her point clear she walked over to Minnowpaw and
laid her tail across his back, leading him out of camp. The two of
them headed for the Thunderclan border, hoping to take refuge
with the other clan. Once again, however, the two were followed.
"Softwing, Minnowpaw. Wait!" The killer called out. The two
cats stopped. They were right next to the river, about to cross using
the twoleg bridge.
"What is it? You know that anyone talking to us could get into
serious trouble with the rest of the clan." Minnowpaw said,
confused as to why his clanmate was here.
"I just wanted to say goodbye to you both." The killer said,
their voice full of an uneasy innocence. The killer walked up to
the two cats and when they were just a few steps away they
jumped at Minnowpaw, knocking the tom into the water, knowing
that he was weaker at swimming. The killer then turned tail and
fled back into Riverclan territory, knowing that Softwing would
be foolish enough to try and help Minnowpaw.
The killer was right. Softwing leaped into the river without a
second thought to try and rescue her younger brother. However
she never saw the branch hanging over the river and was knocked
unconscious. Both cats were found downstream a few days later
by a Thunderclan patrol who brought their bodies back to their
clan so they could properly bury them and grieve.
Riverclan, you just lost two cats, your first pair is gone and it
seems like this killer just wants every cat dead, regardless of who
they may be... Conchpaw has now been given the name
Conchstream and has taken over full medicine cat duties.
The Kill wrote:Adderscar still hadn't recovered from the death of his only
true son, Molapaw. The tom partially blamed himself for
what had happened. He should have been there to protect
his son, why wasn't he there... The tom sighed and pushed
himself up from his nest. He needed to walk, to clear his
head, hopefully he would be able to get Molapaw and the
others off his mind.
He hadn't walked far when he realised that he was being
followed. The tom stopped and turned around, instantly on
alert.
"Who's there? Show yourself." He called out. The cat
stepped out of the bushes and Adderscar relaxed.
"I saw you leaving and I thought that you might want
some company?" The cat said to him, It's Molapaw,
isn't it? We all miss him too." Adderscar nodded, he
knew that speaking the words would only make things so
much worse.
The two cats walked together for a while, Adderscar being
unknowingly led by the other cat. He was so wrapped up in
his own thoughts that he didn't notice the scent of badger
in the air. Quickly the other cat was gone and Adderscar
realised the danger he was in. Out of the black depths of a
tunnel a dark shaped lunged forward, striking the tom and
badly injuring him. As much as Adderscar was a strong
warrior he stood no chance at taking down a badger alone.
He looked around for the other cat but realised the horror
of his situation all too late.

Moonstar had awoken in the middle of the night, a bad
nightmare. She sighed and stood up, walking out of her
den and over to the warrior's den she looked inside for
Adderscar, he wasn't there. It was almost dawn so she had
no idea as to why her mate wasn't asleep. She walked over
to the camp entrance and caught his scent, maybe he was
just out for a walk.
She tracked his scent and found him outside the badger
den. Dead. She wailed in horror and rushed forwards to
her mates side and didn't even think about the danger that
awaited her.
That would be how the clan would find them, lying side-
by-side, both killed by the badger, both unknowingly led
there by the murderer. Both lives taken too soon.
You just lost your second and final pair Riverclan and
one of them was your leader. This killer is getting away
with, well, murder. Hurry up and catch them before they
kill you all.
