So, the rule has changed? As I understand, before you weren't allowed to apply if you are under 18. Was I correct, or did I misunderstand?

The rule is 18+, but so many people under this age are posting and admitting so, or lying about it. Either way, 18+ is what Tess is looking to hire.

Okay then, so there wouldn't really be a point to me applying then. I think my account is too new anyways. >.< I think I'll wait it out then. I don't want to waste Tess's time if I don't meet her standards. Thanks Vampy. :3

2. How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 4551
3. Without posting your age, are you old enough (and willing) to risk seeing adult content when screening posts that are waiting for moderator approval: I will admit, I am underage, but I believe I am able to view adult content, and handle it maturely.
4. How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: I am 7 days a week, and if not, 6.
5. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? It depends. About 3-5
6. Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: [x] [x] [x], And a couple of other places.
7. Now the important question: Why do you want to be a moderator for CS?:
• I want to be a moderator because I want to be able to help out. I love answering questions, and I just love helping out, period. I am very able to handle things maturely. Chickensmoothie is also one of my favorite sites. It would be a great honor to be able to moderate it. I scan through many of the forums daily, and am great with telling art theft.
• If I do become I mod, I know I will keep my promises. I will go by the rules, and not take advantage of my position.

• I am very friendly, and love helping out. I love to answer peoples questions, and am willing to take on the job of answering all of the questions.

1. What date did you register as a CS member?: I registered on the 18th of October 2008.
2. How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): I have 3084 posts.
3. Without posting your age, are you old enough (and willing) to risk seeing adult content when screening posts that are waiting for moderator approval: I am comfortable with dealing with adult situations and I will most definitely deal with it as maturely as possible. I do not wish to reveal my age at this particular time, but I will give it over PM to a mod or an admin if they feel they need it.
4. How many days a week do you usually visit CS? I try to get on every single day.
5. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Two hours to about three on week days, up to eight on weekends and days off,
6. Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them I have been on multiple sites, but many have shut down. Here are two sites I'm a mod on currently.
http://www.milkshakemonster.myadopts.com/index.php (Forum: http://milkshakemonster.proboards.com/index.cgi)
http://cityofowls.myadopts.com/ ( It's not a forum, but an adoptables site, sorry if it doesn't count.)
7. Now the important question: Why do you want to be a moderator for CS?
I want to be a moderator on Chicken Smoothie for many reasons. Chicken Smoothie is a community filled with wonderful people that I'd do anything for. The atmosphere on this site is amazing, and I've never seen so many fantastic, hilarious and intelligent people all at one site. Chicken Smoothie is my second life. Everything here is almost as important as everything in my life outside of here. I have never found another web site that means so much to me, and I want to everything I can for it. I am completely willing to help out in any way possible, and I feel as if this would be the best way. CS means everything to me, and the greatest honour would be to become a Moderator on this awe-inspiring site.
8. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
I speak small bits of French and I can read a good amount of language, but I'm still learning so I'm not fluent. During my schooling, I have been awarded "Honor Roll w/ Distinction" every report card for good behavior and marks.
I hear both sides of an argument and I try my absolute best to be as fair as possible.

Thank you for your time.

EDIT: Fixed some things.

1. What date did you register as a CS member?: May 26, 2009.
2. How many posts have you made in the forum: 1423.
3. Without posting your age, are you old enough (and willing) to risk seeing adult content when screening posts that are waiting for moderator approval: I consider myself to be very mature, and I have no problem with this risk. I have seen some adult content in the past, and while I admit I am not yet 18, I consider myself more than okay with handling it.
4. How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Usually every day; I've been on a bit of a hiatus the past couple weeks because of some exams, but I am getting back to my regular activity.
5. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Usually 2-3 hours (or more); I've been on a bit of a hiatus the past couple weeks because of some exams, but I am getting back to my regular activity. Also, I attend an online school, so I tend to be available/active at all hours, simply keeping CS up in my browser as I work.
6. Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them I have moderated several literate (off-site) roleplays in the past, but unfortunately most are no longer active, as RPs tend to die after a bit. A few are: Link/Link/Link. I am about to open a new one as the admin though. Link.
7. Now the important question: Why do you want to be a moderator for CS? I have been a member on CS for a while, and I truly love the site and everyone on it. My desire to become a moderator is driven by the passion I have for the people on here; nothing would make me happier than to be helping make this place even more enjoyable. <3
8. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?) I am studying a dead language for school, so I am not to be of much help in communicating to anyone who doesn't speak English. However, I do have a lot of experience with people (and peer mediation). Besides growing up with 4 siblings and many cousins where I've always been the one to 'keep the peace' in the house, I babysit, train dogs, and volunteer at a local pet store. I am also a part of my high school's National Honor Society, which is basically a small group of hand-picked students who show the traits of leadership, maturity, responsibility, and a consistent 3.5 GPA or higher. All of these positions have given me some excellent people skills. I resolve issues between my customers' children, friends, and relatives, I give advice to students and help solve issues between them as well, work with employees and a boss (I work a job in the summer), etc. on a regular basis.

I think all of these skills would be helpful for this position of moderator. Either way, thank you for taking the time to consider me. ^^

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 8 months ago, do not apply) April 12, 2010
2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying)(if it's less than 300, do not apply) 3212 [including this one]
3.Without posting your age, are you old enough (and willing) to risk seeing adult content when screening posts that are waiting for moderator approval(If you don't know what I'm talking about, read the first post again) No, I'm not old enough. But I am in my teens and [I hope] mature for my age. I don't mind adult content at all. [If you want me to e-mail you my age I can do that.]
4.How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Every day.
5.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Usually 4 or more. I'm online pretty much all the time.
6.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them. Nope.
7.Now the important question: Why do you want to be a moderator for CS? I want to help, and give back to the community.
8.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? Not really, I don't know any languages other than English; and I can't think of any particular skills at the moment..

Note: I have gotten board warnings before, but I don't think that they were for anything major.
One was for double posting, but I was new then and didn't understand the forums or their rules at all.
The other was for "gossiping" about another member on the 'Things that annoy you' thread.
What I said was:
I think I have an auction stalker. Whenever I bid in an auction, the same exact person is ALWAYS there and outbids me.

I did'nt know that this fit into the rules, I thought it only applied if you called them by name. I know better now.

-phew-

That's it.
Thanks for reading, and considering me. ^-^

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 8 months ago, do not apply)
October 8th, 2009.

2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)
33,993(33,994 with this post).

3.Without posting your age, are you old enough (and willing) to risk seeing adult content when screening posts that are waiting for moderator approval: (If you don't know what I'm talking about, read the first post again)
Like some others, I'll admit I'm under the age of 18. But I do not mind viweing adult comtent or adult language; Trust me when I say I've seen and heard it all, and I'm pretty sure I've been decently mature about all of it. It doesn't even really effect me.

4.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
All seven of them.

5.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Well, on school nights at least a good seven hours. On weekends and days off, usually a good seven hours or more, though sometimes less.

6.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
Yes. Click here.

7.Now the important question: Why do you want to be a moderator for CS?
I want to help inprove the CS community. I would like to clean up what needs to be taken care of and help this remain a child - friendly site like it is and should continue to be. I would like to keep spam from over - running the site, as well, as I know I'm not the only one who finds it irritating when a useless, off - topic post is posted in the forums, or when multiple topics are adressing the same thing. I would like to keep Art Theft off the site as best to my abilities as possible. Not to mention CS is as apart of my life as much as breathing is. I have never been on a site as long as I have been on CS, and for me that's something amazing because I usually get bored with things real quick. I cannot say the same about me and CS, I think I will be on this site for many more years to come, if I can. The pets are amazing, as are all the users. I would like to help keep this site going like it has been. I would also like to say that CS has helped a lot with some of my grades, too. It has helped me become a better writer and artist than I once was. I used to struggle adding details to my essays in school. I can now make a twenty - five page story in Microsoft Office word in just two or three days, and I currently get hundreds on most of my writing works in school. It has allowed me to view other peoples' styles when drawing and allowed me to adapt my own style. CS has helped me, now I would like to help it.

8.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
Well, to be honest, sometimes my two best friends in real life go through this fighting period where they absolutely hate each other, and they always want me to choose a side. But everytime they do I just back away with hands up and say, "I'm Switzerland. I'm neutral. I will not be apart of your fighting, though I will observe and try to help resolve it as best I can." And I do continue to try to help them resolve it until it is completely resolved. I would like to be able to try and help some CS users in the same way.

I do also take French, so I know some of the language and how to read it.

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 8 months ago, do not apply) November 13th, 2010. I've only been a member for 5 months.. but I'd love to be a global moderator for this site :) I'm sorry if it irritates you.. but I'd like to give it a shot ;) I use to be a chickensmoothie player though. My life got pretty tough, and school work was pushed onto me. I didn't have enough time for this game, so I quit. All of my pets are gone.. I was a member for 9 months, but decided to leave for that reason.

2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply) 370

3.Without posting your age, are you old enough (and willing) to risk seeing adult content when screening posts that are waiting for moderator approval: (If you don't know what I'm talking about, read the first post again) I am under the age of 18, but I am very mature for my age. Yes, I'm willing to take the risk of seeing adult content.

4.How many days a week do you usually visit CS? 3-6 times.

5.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 2-3 hours.

6.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: No.. I never have before.

7.Now the important question: Why do you want to be a moderator for CS? Well, most importantly, I love helping other members. I love telling them the answers to their questions. I know most of everything about chicken smoothie, and would greatly help a lot of users on CS. I am under the age of 18, but I'm very mature for my age. I love CS, and my pets. I love helping my friends, when they ask me a question, because I usually know the answer to their question. I think I'd be one awesome moderator for CS. I hope that I am atleast considered, except for the fact, that I am under the age of 18, and have only been registered for 5 months. I hope that whoever is chosen for the job, will be a great moderator for CS :) thank you.

8.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?) Yes.. I have some experiance in peer mediation, not a lot of experiance, but just enough :)

Thank you so very much, if you'd like my to delete me application, I have no hesitation of doing it :)

What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 8 months ago, do not apply) July 21st 2009
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply) 7302
Without posting your age, are you old enough (and willing) to risk seeing adult content when screening posts that are waiting for moderator approval: (If you don't know what I'm talking about, read the first post again)I believe I am mature enough to handle with situations. I will be willing to of course deal with any kind of adult content there is.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? The only time I'm actually not on, is when I'm at school, or sleeping, so 7 days a week.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? I'd say 4-5 on a school day, and 7-8 on a non-school day.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them No, I have not, but I don't usually do anything else besides CS currently.
Now the important question: Why do you want to be a moderator for CS? I understand that everybody here on CS would love to become a moderator, but they only want to, because they want fame, and popularity. For me, it's not because of that reason. If Chickensmoothie didn't have any moderators, who knows what chaos would come? Moderators are needed for the forums on CS because they need to keep everything under control. Me, the reason I'd like to become a moderator is because it would be a complete honor to become one, and not only that, but to keep people under control and behaved, and helping CS become and maintain it's best is the kind of thing I always love doing. I'm usually leading in school, keeping others from fighting and several other things. Doing this kind of job, it makes me happy, and proud to be who I am. I know, I may not be old enough, and I'm certainly not good with words when it comes to reasons like this, but to be a moderator would be absolutely amazing, and just one more thing to add on to my favorite things to do.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?) I speak Spanish pretty well, and a little bit of Italian. I can also read chatspeak pretty well.

Thank you for taking the time to read my application, and I understand you'll look over the older participants first. (:

Question; if someone was to get the job as a Global Moderator, would they ever be able to 'switch' this job for another one?
Say if a Roleplaying Moderator job opened up, would they be able to put in for a 'transfer'?
