Error 404 - Video Not Found.

[distant wheezing]

Okay, sorry, nothing here. I re-read the rules and apparently posting a link to an SFM that has some jumpscares is probably against the rules. Sorry! ^^

Here's one without jumpscares!

Hey, I just realized, has anyone noticed that The Puppet is more reminiscent of a jack-in-the-box than an actual puppet or marionette? I mean think about it, the Puppet is held at bay by the music box, and if it's about to attack, you hear Pop Goes the Weasel, which is normally the song that a jack-in-the-box plays

Now that you mention it, kinda. Though, there's no spring mechanism to launch him out of the box. I assume he kinda just nyooms floats down the hallway with the strings attached, they detach from his body at the end, and then throws himself at the guard, as illustrated here.

Considering that he was intentionally based off of a Jack-in-the-box, it isn't surprising. XD Either way though, animatronics wouldn't be able to move like they do in the game IRl, so it makes sense that he doesn't have a spring mechanism and just kinda floats.
If we were talking about actual moving animatronics, the robots would not only need plenty of wires and a possible battery, but tons of floor mechanisms, ramps and tracks for the robots to slide and walk on. It would probably look reminiscent of a jumbled railroad track, and it would be a hazard to kids due to the risk of them tripping and falling, which is why you don't see it often. In FNAF (and fnaf 2, 3 and 4, when they were supposedly "moving" wuth or without a human inside) the robots have absolutely NO foot wires or tracks, and I doubt that they would have the hydrolics needed to move that much that fast- that would take some huge smechanisms and the robots wouldn't look as small as they do in games. Even now you see animatronics with a small cart of block that they stand on, which posesses wheels at the bottom like a car. They move their feet in a walking motion, but all the moving is being done by the cart- and that would cost more money and would also be a potential hazard if a child got run over.

With the puppet, for all we know he/she is posessed, and since this game isn't realistic we can only assume they float and fly torwards the gaurd. Theories have been speculated that the wires on the cieling help the animatronics move and is possibly where the strings would be to hold the puppet, but that, in ny eyes, is quite unrealistic. All the wires are far too high up and the robots still possibly lack the core mechanisms for movements as far as we know. Perhaps the puppet does have strings, but that doesn't explain how it moves around and how the strings attach to the ceiling and keep up the puppets wieght.

I think that when it comes to comparing FNAF to an actual pizzeria, we should simply leave the game up to imagination. I mean, it IS a game with murderous posessed robots who stuff you in suits. XD While the puppet does seem reminiscent of a jack-in-the-box it only seems to be inspired. Then again, I'm rambling about something that is mildly unrelated. XD
UPDATE;; July | 20 | 2020

|| I've officially left this site. To those who built me up, who encouraged me, who offered me company and roleplayed with me despite my rather juvenile behavior, and who joined me in OC competitions, I want to thank you! This site introduced me to things that would mold and impact my life forever, and would help me find my dream career and grow myself as a person. I may have moved on from CS, but I will never forget my roots, nor will I forget the sheer happiness this site brought and the amazing people I've had the incredible pleasure of meeting. Thank you all so much for helping me to get to where I am today. <3 ||

If you happen to see this, you may find me at @Birds.For.Brains on Instagram, or @Wrenkenstein on DA!

Haha. Though, my drawing was deleted, I think. There was nothing wrong with it, and I got no warning, but it says I'm not authorized to view this post. The "someone dies tonite" was a joke, and it didn't go against any rules..
