Ashblaze turned around at the sound of Minnowheart's voice, "It's Sweetnose. He isn't in his den and I can't find him anywhere in camp. I thought Coalface was the killer but now..." The she-cat sighed. "Now I worry that we exiled both of my sisters for nothing."

[Chicken-]

Minnowheart started to worry upon hearing the news. "So you think that Sweetnose is... dead?"

[Nocturnal Creatures]

Ashblaze sighed, shaking her head, "No. We cannot believe that without evidence. I'm just worried about nothing I'm sure. To calm my nerves, however, would you mind taking out a patrol? You can check our borders and also see if you can find Sweetnose anywhere." She looked towards the other dens, the others had better be awake soon, she needed something to do to get her mind off of the murders.

Burntstripe excited the warriors' den. He had felt much better since Violetpaw became an apprentice. He heard all Ashblaze had to say. "I didn't overreact last time and Riversplash was dead. I want to join Minnowheart to find my father." His voice was hard, he wasn't going to let the same thing happen to anyone else he cared about. "Maybe Birchgaze should come with us." He didn't want his brother to be kept out of the loop either.

Nightfeather pokes her head out of her den. She doesn't like showing it, but the deaths are getting to her. She can't help dead cats.
Seeing the camp worried again, she retreats back inside.
Maybe if she just concentrates she can ignore it.

Ashblaze nodded as Burntstripe spoke, "Okay the three of you can go out on patrol to see if Sweetnose can be located. I will sort out the rest of patrols when everyone else is awake." She said. She spotted movement at the medicine cat den, Nightfeather was awake. The poor cat, she had lost her mentor and many of her clanmates at such a young age...

Burntstripe nodded and headed back toward the warriors' den. "Hey Birchgaze! We're going out on a patrol with Minnowheart. You've been volun-told." He called inside at his brother, but decided not to tell him exactly the purpose for their patrol until he was fully awake.

Birchgaze made his way out of the warriors den, stretching his legs. "Patrol? Alright. Where are we going?" The tom looked around camp, not seeing Sweetnose in his usual position by the elder's den. He hoped his father had slept in, but the concerned looks on the other warriors faces were... troubling. "Where's Sweetnose? Did he just sleep in again?"

Violetpaw was heading over to ask her mentor about training, overhearing that Sweetnose was missing made her freeze.
