Lighthearted and bubbly are barely a scratch at his overall personality. He is extremely optimistic. He always looks forward to the days to come, always expecting the best from them. Boreas is a jokester by heart, and will never give up when it comes to trying to make someone laugh. He is humorous by nature. Boreas always seems to have a joke or two memorized, and always has one prepared for any sort of event. He is extremely outgoing and loves making new friends of all sorts; mostly he can only make friends one by one. While he may seem overall bouncy and happy, Boreas does have a light case of anxiety. It only affects him when he stands before large groups. It twists his stomach into knots when he does. On another note, he is accepting and understanding. Boreas stays loyal to his friends and family forever; even if he ends up in an argument with one. Boreas can never hold a grudge. He'd hold a secret for a friend all the way to the grave. He tends to be ambitious and a risk-taker. He would do everything and anything to succeed at whatever he may be trying to. Boreas loves taking risks, as it adds excitement and adrenaline to his life. Boreas tends to bounce head first into things, which tends to get him into a lot of trouble. He's got a heart of gold, and some even would say he wears his heart on her sleeve. Boreas can be easily put down by the smallest of rude words or gesture; he is very sensitive, and this is one of his biggest downfalls. Insults are something he cannot take a lot of. Even the smallest one can spiral his mood down. Yet, no one has ever seen Boreas get mad. He basically has no temper, and has never seemed to become mad. When it comes to romance, Boreas is a big ol' goofy dork. He can be awkward and stammer over his words as if they were a rocky path. Though, while romance might not come easy to him, Boreas loves having someone to spend his life with. He loved to see someone in his life who would listen to him, and that he'd listen to. Luckily, listening comes natural to Boreas and he is pretty obedient.

How they feel about winter;;

Callista has somewhat mixed emotions when it comes to winter. On one hand, she could do without the power outages and icy walkways. On the other hand, she loves the spirit that surrounds it. She loves being able to sit in with her closest friends and snuggle with them while it's storming outside. It helps that Calli seems to have a slightly elevated body temperature, being loving dubbed "a little space heater". This opportunity for close time with her friends would be what won over winter for her, because Calli is an absolute cuddle bug she could never actually dislike anything that lets her have quality time with the ones she loves. She loves that she has a valid excuse to spoil her friends, for the holidays. They'd usually scold her for it. So over all, Callista would have to admit that she does in fact enjoy the winter season, and that she would be sad if she had to move to a region that didn't provide the cozy, albeit frigid atmosphere and the chance to lay in front of the fire with her friends. Luckily for bother friends and herself, Callista's gooey mane seems to contain itself, and doesn't normally rub off on other things. (wip)

Personality:

Lachlan is deceptively conniving. With his disarming and dopey smile, he isn’t at all nefarious at first glance, and he uses that fact to his advantage at any chance he can get. His carefree charm allows him to worm his way into the good graces of those he meets who’re easily swayed by a kind face, and he usually takes this time to employ his more mischievous tendencies. With a smooth, cheerful inflection to his voice and bright baby-blues, he’s quick to persuade and even quicker to weasel himself out of sticky situations. He’s a professional pickpocket by trade after learning that he could get paid to lift little trinkets off of other creatures. He previously only did it for the fun of it, getting a laugh from watching others become flustered when they couldn’t find their wallet or phone before returning it back to them, but nothing quite beats having an audience watch him outsmart another person. The high of it can be pretty heady. The pissed off victims of his whims is just icing on the cake.

Lachlan also tends to navigate his world through bribery. When his looks fail him, he resorts to deception and a little bit of hush money in any form he can find. His mother and father taught him about all of the necessary nuances involved in bartering and chicanery, so he can lie like the best of them and get the most out of the majority of the deals he makes. Those who know him know not to bet against him.

Despite his tendency towards swindling and jovialness, Lachlan’s known for being fairly rude when the mood strikes him. He’s quick to point out other people’s stupidity or actions with an open smile on his face, and the contrast usually stumps others into silence if they don’t immediately go for his neck. He knows how to utilize tact, but he just doesn’t care enough to bother being nice if he doesn’t have to be. He loves messing with people this way, but there are times where his inner tact falls through and he genuinely puts his foot in his mouth without realizing the implications of his words. Lachlan doesn’t exhibit much remorse, though.

While Lachlan is known to push people away because of his lack of regard to sensitivity, he surprisingly makes an enormous effort to be kind to the creatures he loves. He has a large heart buried under his innate cheekiness, so there's not much he wouldn't do for his friends and family. {423}

How they feel about winter:

“Winter is my season.”

Lachlan adores winter. He grew up in a region where the frost comes early in the year and hangs around well into mid spring, so he’s pretty used to chilly weather. The snow, the icicles, the icy roads, chilly air, beautiful scenery- almost everything about winter never fails to put a smile on his face. His physical drippiness usually isn’t a problem on nippier days, but on the coldest days, his goop freezes and chips off his coat and he has no idea why. But, Lachlan supposes the alternative is even more concerning. He’s somewhat hesitant about going to warmer climates whenever he travels for his job, because for some reason or another he gets decidedly more ‘slippy,’ (“Slippy? Slippery? Something like that- I just feel less solid. I don't think it's entirely healthy…”) in hot weather. While manageable, the feeling isn't all too comfortable to deal with, and the fact that he feels a bit faint on even the mildest days makes him dependent on a cold room or a bag of ice to cool him down. There's still this irrational fear from his childhood that he has to stay in northern climates or else he'll melt away. His mom was the one who implanted that idea in his head too— he loves the woman, but man she used to mess with him.

He also likes winter because of the unnatural quiet. Most flora and fauna seem to hush during this season, and Lachlan adores entertaining himself by digging under the snow to see where the tiny animals scurry off to for the nippier months. It's an old habit he never bothered to break from his younger years of wishing to become a mammalogist, and he kept it up purely for the sake of annoying small rabbits and lemmings. Of course, annoying that bear is definitely something he could have done without…

So long as he's reasonably dry (as dry as he can appear to be) then he'll gladly romp around in the snow and run circles around creatures less inclined to cold weather. He despises cold water, though. He doesn't skate on ice for that exact reason— bad memories of falling through the ice and having to literally chew his way through quickly forming ice crystals. He loves the cold, but he doesn't want to be cold, especially since his body temperature runs a little hotter than average. He has his limits.

While he used to partake in holiday festivities during the winter months, Lachlan’s job moves him around the world to often to enjoy the larger holidays. The only holiday he remembers to celebrate without fail is the Winter Solstice, since it's the best reminder he has that colder days are coming around. {460}

Personality;; Boris is a calm and collected young Viscet; always ready to please, and not intent on putting too much effort. Boris enjoys intelligent conversations and talks, though he can be a big dork on the other hand. He is a huge fan of puns, and it's not a lie that he can't keep conversations too-too serious; unless it's one of formality. So; even though he gives off a popular, smart kid vibe; he's a popular, smart kid that has a sense of humor to go along with him. Sorta makes sense right? Either way, just get it down that Boris is serious and less on the hyper side, yet can't stand being serious too long. It's a bit contradicting, but it makes sense in some way.

Boris enjoys getting attention; he practically basks in it. If he's not the one getting attention? He's bitter and jealous, but doesn't dare say a thing. He won't try to push for your attention; alternatively, he sits and waits for you to notice how angry he is. If you don't? Oh well, life goes on with him being mad at you until you give him what he wants. Attention has always been something he's enjoyed; if he's not getting praise for what he's doing, he wholeheartedly doubts himself. So, attention is something he enjoys but it can also be considered a tragic flaw, if you will. Maybe? He's personally not the best to try and explain with various literary terms. In the end, the lack or overflow of attention could destroy Boris in the end.

You can't trust people with a lot of things; Boris is here for you. Tell him every secret you feel comfortable sharing with him, and he'll keep them all hidden under his wing. If your secret gets out somehow, he's the last one you'd come to suspect. Boris has a strict system of morals, or so it's being called right now, and he doesn't believe in anything involving spreading secrets and personal information. Summarized; he doesn't see it 'right' to share someone's business, even if you are angry with them. People exposing others make his blood boil, and he finds it in himself to snap at anyone who does it. Not only are you possibly ruining someone's daily life in a simple phrase, you're also proving how unworthy you are when it comes to secret-sharing. Try again, this time, without Boris in the mix.

So, summary now. Boris is a good kid, gets good grades, aspires to be something in the future, but he's got his social tendencies and isn't a big, stuck-up nerd as some might assume. Boris treasures attention, maybe a little too much? Attention on himself could either hurt or help him, mostly hurt if you think about it. He's a good friend to everyone he meets, even if you're an arse. Trust is everything in a friendship to him, along with devotion; once trust is gone though, everything else is as well. He's a good guy once you get to meet him; don't be afraid to trip into him at some point in time.

How they feel about winter;; You act as if Boris actually experiences winter; California has no rest for the melting. Which, when it comes to Boris, is a quite literal case. He hasn't had firsthand experience snowflakes falling outside his apartment complex, it's sorta upsetting. So, alternatively, he has daydreams about what winter is actually like. The snow always looks really soft and fluffy, and he's curious about it all. As of the now, Boris is totally mesmerized by winter, wondering what it's truly like. He wants to go and experience winter but it's expensive to buy plane tickets to visit family up in the North, and he's too preoccupied with school. So, let's review; he's pretty envious of people that get to experience winter, and wants to experience it himself but can't. Snowflakes are cool, no pun intended.

Keros certainly is a... strange viscet. He has normal traits like being adventurous, curious, cheerful, cooperative, and fair. But all these normal traits sometimes go... way too far. To the point where he wanders off in the middle of a conversation (like the true escapist he is) because he saw something that interested him, going along with bad things, and feeling the need to perfectly divide up things equally. This makes Keros quite the challenge to deal with, though he is sometimes a good companion. He is a gentle viscet with good intentions and a good nature, and would never mean to hurt anything. Honestly if he stepped on a ladybug he might start crying. Keros can be a bit of a baby sometimes, which is why his friends, whom he can be very dependent on, are so understanding. Keros is very adaptable, and easily adjusts to many situations, as long as his friends are still with him, of course. His ignorance leads him to be very basic in decision, which he is always very decisive with. Keros will likely always choose the obvious and easies choice or task. You may ask him, if a red house is made of red bricks, a blue house is made of blue bricks, a yellow house is made of yellow bricks, what is a greenhouse made of? He'll say green bricks on the spot without thinking twice. If you ask him "are you sure" he'll say he is sure, not even stopping to consider other options that lead to the answer is glass. Keros pretty much has a clear him, he doesn't have a lot om his mind and he doesn't go running around stressing about lists of tasks he needs to get done, he gets things done as they can be accomplished... or his irresponsibility kicks in and he just shoves the thoughts aside and doesn't think about the task he should be doing. Keros is strangely calm, even in situations most are panicking. Keros is disciplined a lot by his friends with positive and negative reinforcements. They don't hurt him or anything, they just... treat him like a kid sometimes. He is very appreciative of them since he isn't the best at keeping friends, and he is very loyal to him. Keros is extremely magnanimous, and therefore is very amiable and benevolent. Keros is not very innovative and struggles to find new ways to do things. He frequently keeps the same schedule and keeps many daily tasks the exact same. If you ever wonder "How does one eat the same lunch everyday and not end up disgusted by it?" Just ask Keros. A useful trait, being alert, has been beneficial to Keros as he has saved a good amount of objects that almost feel off tables and such. He is also very observant, and sometimes unnecessarily points out things to people that may be hurtful or don't need to know on accident. Keros is very playful, fun-loving and can show you what a good time is if you just let him take you around town and follow his lead. Keros is very reliable and trustworthy, plus he is understanding and you can pretty much tell him anything. He doesn't talk much at all, but is a fantastic listener. Keros can be too dedicated to tasks, and will go to the point where he'll do too much to do, get, or find something. If you ask for his opinion, you certainly will get his opinion since Keros is too honest with others, and is not afraid to give true statements, often blunt and straight forward. He also is very open about himself, if you ask him a deep or personal question he will likely answer, or he may just randomly spill a deep comment in a casual conversation- but calmly, not caring, and in a way that you would think it isn't deep at all. Keros' thoughts can be very predictable by those who know him, but sometimes bizarre to those who don't. Keros can be hesitant and timid towards new things, and he is often very difficult when he doesn't want to do something. Keros is very aloof, absentminded, impassive, and quiet at times. It's in a way like his sad state, but these times happen randomly for small reasons, which his friends make him think are more important than they are since he thought so, so he doesn't feel worse. Keros is very gullible; he is also naive and submissive, which makes him very vulnerable to being the subject of rude jokes. His amusing nature, loveable touch, and perfected puppy-dog eyes leads him to be quite the persuasive lil trickster.
Keros is both easily distracted and discouraged, so others really have to be patient when with him.

Hearing the question, Keros' eyes lit up and he opened his mouth, smiling. "Well! Speaking as someone who loves photography, winter is absolutely amazing. The crisp, sparkling, fresh snow. The thinly scattered layer on pine trees, of course, this year I am a bit salty since many gorgeous and healthy pine trees were chopped down. Anyways, winter is simply a dream to get in a photo. Shimmery, sparkly, everything! And the iced over ponds and lakes! When the light hits just right... so cool. I don't mind the cold at all, bundling up is so much nicer than being sweaty hot and frantically fanning yourself while searching for shade or someplace to cool down while taking photos. Oh and if I can get the camera settings just right, snowfalls can be captured wonderfully. Isn't that just great?! I'm a whole different viscet when I have my camera with me. Winter is just awes- OH YEA! The hot cocoa too and pretty scarves and wrapping paper! I love it! And gingerbread and sugar cookies! Mmmm! My absolute favorite treats! I'm so sorry, am I rambling!?"
