Murderers in Riverclan V.2 [Roster Update 10/30]

Burntstripe shrugged away anyone who got near him the entire way back to camp. After a fair amount of hesitation, he did agree to let Stonesong treat him. He wasn't happy about it, but he did it for Violetkit's sake. Even after all he himself had done, he didn't want her in more pain than she had to be.

Ashblaze had known that something was wrong and news had spread quickly through the camp of what had happened. She looked over at the fresh kill pile and realised that the commotion had been too much for anyone to think to go out hunting. She looked around for their deputy but she couldn't see Coalface anywhere. Sighing she stood up, stretched and walked out of camp in hopes of finding some prey.

Stonesong started walking quickly back to camp after Burntstripe agreed to be treated. eager to get away from Riversplash's body and help him and his kit. She gagged thinking about blood and death. When she turned around, she saw that Burntstripe and Violetkit were going slower so she stopped to wait for them.

Molapaw had been on edge when he'd overheard something about Riversplash being dead. The apprentice shuffled his paws nervously, cautiously watching the Clan as they converged.

RiverClan

The clan gathered around, disbelief in the air after the found Riversplash dead. Glancing at each other, the wondered what they were going to do, until Birchstar got onto the Riverstone. “We must vote out the murder,” he said, glancing down at his clanmates. “Sweetnose, please count the votes,” he said, hearing the clan call out names. He had heard a few cats saying Ashblaze, Molapaw and even him. Majority of the clan seemed to be leaning towards Burntstripe and Stonesong. Seeing the elder approach, he leaned down, frowning as he heard the tallies. “Stonesong, you are hereby exiled for the murder of Riversplah,” he meowed, glancing down at the medicine cat.

The she-cat looked on in disbelief, wide eyed the clan would think that she would kill her own clan mates. “I heal cats, not kill them,” Stonesong tried to protest, glancing back at Horseface for help. Horseface stood up. “I trust Stonesong not to be the murder,” he said, knowing it was time to come clean. “We’ve been meeting together in secret for a while and know she is not like that,” the tom meowed. “If you exile her, your exiling me as well,” he meowed, glancing up at Birchstar. Birchstar blinked. “Very well, “the leader meowed, feeling sad they were losing two cats instead of one, watching the pair leave the camp.

RiverClan

A few moons after Riversplash was murdered, the clan started to relax and believe they had gotten the right killer. Waking up, the murder got to their paws, their light-colored eyes opening in the darkness. Walking over to the apprentice den, they walked around the sleeping apprentices, prodding Molapaw, trying to wake the tom up. “Wake up, we’re on the midnight patrol,” the murder murmured. Molapaw glances up, nervously with the pervious events with Riversplash. “B…be r…right there,” he stammered, tail flicking. Shaking the sleep off, he knew he had to quit worrying about, as they had exiled the killer, or thought the clan had. Walking quietly, but nervously he met up with murder, surprised it was only them two. “Just us?” he asked, extremely nervous as he followed the murder to the ShadowClan border.

“Yes, it’s just us,” the murder purred, glancing over at the nervous apprentice. “Don’t have to be so nervous,” the chuckled. “There is no room for nervous apprentices in RiverClan like you,” the murder meowed, before pinning the apprentice, who froze at the threat. “I’m sorry about this, but StarClan told me to,” the murder murmured, killing the apprentice with a swift bite to the throat, ending Molapaw’s life early.

Nightfeather's demeanor hasn't changed much since her mentor was exiled. It's true, sometimes she can be seen fretting about not remembering something and how if Stonesong were there she'd tell her in a way she could remember, but usually she's her grumpy-ish self, though if truth be told, she misses her mentor terribly.
