So sorry haven't been on a lot, finals are coming up and I've had sports and appointments. I have an orthodontist appointment soon, and may be getting braces. I'll be on after if possible. Sorry again ))

Leafpaw got up from the semi warm ground, feeling the light, but cold breeze strike his fur. He shook the pieces of moss that clung to his fur, and padded over to his mentor, Blueshadow. "Hello Blueshadow." He said in a whisper, his throat burning from the cold air. "This cold hurts my throat." He said, his voice becoming raspy as the cold air ran down his throat.

[Esther~]

Blueshadow was usually as cold as the weather here, but she was concerned about her apprentice."I could give you some tansy. We don't want you catching white cough."she looked over at her storage."I have some honey as well. I usually have to go near two-leg place just to get some, but its not hard to harvest once your there."she looked back at Leafpaw."I think it would be best to take precautions."

He nodded, wincing as he breathed in more of the cold air. "I'll help you travel out to get more honey, as soon as this weather calms down. And thank you Blueshadow, I can always count one." He sat down next to her, waiting for the herbs to arrive at his feet. He'd never had honey before, but heard cats say it tasted nice. "Don't waste a lot of honey on me, they'll probably be a lot more sore throats." He said in a whisper, not daring to speak any louder because of the pain.

[Esther~]

"You aren't going anywhere Leafpaw. You'll be in this den until your throat gets better."Blueshadow padded off and returned with some honeycomb and tansy. She placed the tansy down and the honeycomb was set on a dock leaf."Once your finished eating these herbs im going to get you something to eat. You need to keep your strength up if your going to fight off sickness. You also need to stay away from other cats to avoid spreading sickness. Only I can get near you for now as I need to check up on my own apprentice."

"Awww, ok." He rasped, looking at the herbs she was grabbing. "Thanks Blueshadow, you're a great mentor." He replied, and ate the tansy, glad to get the worst over with first. He started to eat the honey, and his eyes lit up. This tastes great! He thought in his head, making sure he licked the honeycomb clean. "So I can't talk to any cat Blueshadow?" He asked, his thoughts returning back to the conversation he had with the other apprentice yesterday.

[Esther~]

Blueshadow watched to make sure every bit of honey and tansy was eaten. She did notice his eyes light up though, so she knew he enjoyed the honey as most others did. She herself didn't really care for the sweet and warm liquid, but others seemed to love it."You can't talk to any cat. If you do you may spread the sickness. Besides, you don't need to be falling in love with another cat."she glanced at the apprentice."Keep in mind that you chose this path, so you must live with what you have chosen."

He nodded at what Blueshadow said. "I know Blueshadow." He said, looking down at his paws. But what if i can't help it? He asked himself, but shook the question away. His clan was his number one priority. 'The honey was lovely Blueshadow! It tasted so good!" He purred, making sure to get the last of the honey taste out.
