Eye of the Eerie Tempest
Tempest nodded his head to Doubloon in agreement, gesturing towards them all with a wide sweep of his tail. "We have waited long enough. I need to see how the tribe is fairing." He was unsure how Spirit felt about his bold statement at first. The two had left because of Shadow's anarchic rule over the territory, but they could not punish them for bringing back his own kits. That would turn his own followers against him if they went about the plan with a strategic mindset. "If we head there now, we might be able to catch the isthmus opening while the water is still low. " It was about a two hour walk to the isthmus opening, and even then, there was only about an hour before the small trip of land was covered up by sea water. Making it there in a timely manner meant not having to wait another day for the isle to open up. It did not take long for the group to be underway.

As the sun drew down towards the horizon, he felt his paws quicken in pace the nearer they got to camp. The soft pad of pawsteps behind him gave him courage. Shadow would see he was still strong. His attempts to break him down had not worked, and in fact, he had gained from the experience by coming to terms with his feelings for Spirit. Tempest also learned more about the outcast group, realizing that many were becoming better felines from their past crimes. He heard a voice call out to them, and he paused midstep. He was a bit frustrated by the interruption due to his urgency to get to camp, but these feelings ebbed as soon as he noticed it was a maiden. An expecting queen should be treated with the utmost respect. "Yes, we are. My name is Tempest, and I am the former leader to the Tribe of the Black Pearl. What is your name?" He directed his question to Firelight.

Stream Where Small Fish Swim
Stream felt a hint of relief flow through her, grateful that Oil's response was not what she had been expecting. He had actually agreed with her partially, or enough to partially admit that what he believed previously might not be the full story. The ginger-and-white tabby molly was a bit crestfallen about the fact he had no answers to provide her. She had been worried sick lately, always having something or someone on her mind to think about constantly. Stream had so many suspicions, but how could anything be proven without proper proof? She knew Night above all would want justice for Moon. What if her half-brother really had committed the crime? How would she react then? Stream thought about these questions everyday.
Her spirits lightened when Oil stated that not all tribe cats were bad. It made her drop her guard for a brief moment, allowing a smile to break through her previously stoic and bold expression. It faded to a confused light in her eyes as Oil admitted he was heading back to camp. It left her with a decision. Tag along or awkwardly stay behind? She decided on the former, rising to her paws after a brief second of pondering. The decision was based on the fact she wanted to continue the decent relations with the rogue, beginning to feel as if there was hope for the two groups to get along after all. "Is it alright wit you if I come along? It is about time that I started heading back."

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower shifted uncomfortably under Albatross's gaze, giving a faint smile to hide her reaction. The cold stare felt ominous enough to make her pelt crawl. The she-cat turned her attention back to Ice with a respectful nod of her head, taking a deep breath to steady her beating heart. The task to steal a tuft of Little's fur was making her heart pound. It had been an intense moment, and she had most definitely lucked out when Little got distracted by Fading's return to camp. She was slightly relieved when Ice led her away from the unnerving Albatross, hoping she did not come across as ignorant in return. Flower merely did not know Albatross well enough to make a positive assumption about the fellow clanmate.
She listened to Ice careful, watching her movements with a curious eye as she examined the tufts of her. When she mentioned the fight between Little and Fading, she looked towards camp with a curious frown. Flower had been so busy to get out of the area that she payed no attention to the confrontation. Perhaps Fading was the one that took Little's kits? Was that why she was so upset? "No clue! I know Little's kits were missing when I got there. I thought I was caught for sure until Fading arrived into camp. I booked it out of there with the moss," she explained, shaking her head for emphasis. Flower hoped the moss would provide some clues as to who was involved.
When Sky came along, Flower had been close to giving away what they were doing. Sky was an easy feline to talk to. The question she asked about if they were investigating Moon's killer was so outright and simple that she had been ready to give an ecstatic yes. Flower wanted to be recognized for her efforts with Ice. They were putting their lives on the line for the sake of Moon after all. She wanted to be a sailor like the rest of them. She clamped her maw shut, noticing the way Ice was shooting mental daggers at Sky for her approach. The apprentice leaned in, listening to her barely audible words with a look of confusion. She blinked, thinking on the matter, before nodding her head in agreement. "Sky is trustworthy," she mewed, hoping that her words would ring true.

"i took a left away from the den. i walked past the really huge palm tree nearby, and then i kept going straight for . . . probably ten fox lengths. i sorta veered off the path because i found an opening in these gnarled roots, and i found my way through them," his pride showed by his intuitive skills of direction, only to be knocked back down as he tied up his story,"and then the ground started to turn grainy. that is when i found you, and now we are -- lost." mist was on the verge of wailing. he finally made his first friend, someone that was not his sister, and now he was completely embarrassed. his mother would be scolding him for being so ignorant, if they found her that is. mist collapsed, pushing his face to the ground to hide it. "i'm sorry,
i'm sorry -- i'm really sorry!"
