CS Rarity List [WIP] - status update on page 75

The 40k range is full of other/deleted pets and not giving us much data for some reason. Kee's spreadsheet was the first half of the 40k range and Aralas is now doing the second half, both are underperforming compared to the others. I guess people decided to adopt a lot of other pets during that time!

I am hopeful that these 4 new spreadsheets will correct the data that we have. If not we'll just need to keep counting more pets until we are confident with our results.

Well it wouldn't be a project if you didn't run into some roadblocks. No worries, once we stumble through the August set we can develop a working method for the next sets. At least there's a good amount of volunteers if we need to count even more pets!

I'd like to help if anyone would be willing to show me how ^.^ I've been following this and the rares list thread for a while, but I've been super busy with school so I didn't really have time. But now that finals are over I would love to help out with anything <3

Yay for more volunteers. There will definitely be more spreadsheets coming, even once we finish the August count as we want to do July, Sept & Dec 18 at some stage.

Thanks Aralas, I've added them to the master spreadsheet. They didn't change the results much. I'm hoping the other 3 spreadsheets will be more fruitful but if not, we can make more spreadsheets. Maybe focus our efforts on IDs in the 20k range if we still need more data after this round of counting?

I think my bunch will be more helpful this time. I had a lot fewer 'other pets' and many more of the ones we're looking for!

@sol when we're second gens and front page bwolves added? Could that explain density of other pets in 40k range

No idea Nick, but that could be possible.

Kee that data is really helpful. It's started to equalise the sorbets which is good. It's helping with the toxics a bit too although they are still not reflecting the Rares List for the Green Toxic (the rest are in the same order as the rares list but green toxic is underrepresented).

Weirdly the Galaxies aren't being corrected. I've been seeing a 50% CEG vs BEG adoption rate from the first 3 sets and now we have 6 sets of data they are still maintaining that ratio.

We now have data for 567 pets, and 2 spreadsheets still incoming.

I've been noticing the exact same thing about the galaxy dogs and I'm surprised. I have some free time right now and I could get another sample done super quick if you have one ready?

Sure. You can adjust the spreadsheet yourself if you like, just change the pet ID column and that's it. Otherwise I can set one up for you. The ID range you want is 20501 to 20750
