One of the most talked about mysteries was the disappearance of Renee Givens. She came from a family of wealth, anything she asked for she would get with a snap of the fingers. She was also a caring, sweet kalon. Everyday for years she would send letters to a kalon no one really knows the identity of, "Roxanne" she called them. Until she just... stopped. What makes that monumental is, for one, she had written a letter each and every day to this kalon, and no one has spotted her since she stopped. People have been trying and theorizing over who Roxanne was and how she played a part in her disappearance. We have laid out copies for you to read of the last letters she wrote.

ᴄᴇɴᴛᴜʀʏ XV // ᴊᴀɴᴜᴀʀʏ 10

❝ My dearest Roxanne,
xxxxxxxxxx I have not heard word from you in a rather long period of time, I sincerely hope nothing has you ill, dear. Times are rather tough with the kingdoms struggling to keep the Sky clan at bay, I fear we may be at war sooner than we expect. Without you by my side, I feel relatively alone, I am wishing you will send word back before,
and if, the war begins to ease my fears. ❞

ᴄᴇɴᴛᴜʀʏ XV // ᴊᴀɴᴜᴀʀʏ 11

❝ My dearest Roxanne,
xxxxxxxxxx You worry me with a lack of response to my last letter. I would love more than anything for you to be safe, but with the newly declared war I fear greatly for what might have or may happen to you. Your survival skills much outweigh mine but I cannot live with myself if anything happened to you. ❞

ᴄᴇɴᴛᴜʀʏ XV // ᴊᴀɴᴜᴀʀʏ 12

❝ My dearest Roxanne,
xxxxxxxxxx Ledell strikes great fear into me. I know that is exactly what she wants, but without you here next to me my fear overtakes my hope. I truly wish you would send me a letter to show you are well. ❞

ᴄᴇɴᴛᴜʀʏ XV // ᴊᴀɴᴜᴀʀʏ 13

❝ My dearest Roxanne,
xxxxxxxxxx I love you with all of my heart. ❞

Renee had lived in a mansion her entire life, she had knew nothing different. Her family was a rather secretive one, no one truly knew everything about another nor did anyone else. One of the biggest ones raised the one of the biggest questions of the century, who was Roxanne? Well you would be quite disappointed with the actual answer, but before I can tell you we must raise more questions about Renee Givens.
Our story begins with a small room under a small home found in the kingdom of Vanhory. This particular room was one a single kalon knew about it, the one who owned it, Renee. Many knew about the house but none took much interest in the old thing. It was more or less her hide-away. She’d spend most of her days inside the mucky thing, but it was the only place of peace and true solitude she could find.
She sat on the floor in front of a wood table, dim lights pointing to the table and a bulletin board behind it. In one paw she held a blank paper and the other a feather. A low growl could be heard coming from a deep, dark place inside her heart. Her eyes were focused on the paper, not moving an inch from the blank sheet. An ink stain could be found on her right leg and next to it, a small bottle of ink. A growl soon grew into a hiss and in a burst of energy she dropped her paws and swung them across the stone floor. She laid on the paper, quietly letting out a small sob. The ink soaked her hair, turning her bright blonde hair black for a moment. It struck the paper with a force just as strong. She laid there, just sitting there, for a moment before pulling herself up. She took a deep breath and tried to pull herself together. She just… couldn’t though. A part of her was gone, disappeared. Her eyes were tightly shut, paws clenching air. She relaxed, opening her eyes. She looked down to the paper. On it was an angry smear of black ink, a smear of worry and regret molded into an angry burst. An ink embodiment of her emotions.

The ink was only the start to the anger she would face but, she had no idea what the ink would turn her into. The night of her disappearance she was found by two sketchy kalons to say the least. They knocked her over the head and took her somewhere she had no idea even existed, the tunnels under Edoilia.
The tunnels were intricate to say the least, everywhere you looked was another entrance or exit. She was smacked awake by a creepier looking kalon. Next to them stood an even creepier kalon and on the other side of her stood a much more friendly looking fellow.
The questioned her for hours, asking her about her family and fortune. She couldn’t provide to many answers though as she herself didn’t know very much about her family. They kept demanding answers she did not have. They grew tired of her answers, or lack their of. The one who woke her commanded the largest of the three to “take care” of her, leading her out to a room.
She walked her to a room where she began asking different questions. She seemed to be the most reasonable and caring of the three and Renee was more than thankful for these traits. She gave her the choice to work for them or face eternity inside this room. Without a second thought she stupidly said she’d work for them, a choice she’d come to regret. It was in this horrible days of working her body to death that she remembered her treasured moments.
The moments of when she was a child, growing up with her father. They’d never hurt a hair on her head, they’d hurt anyone who did though. She treasured her moments with Roxanne, especially the last. Her last memory of the wonderful kalon was the best moments of both of their lives. They were parting ways but it gave her a sense of pride and joy knowing Roxanne was happy. It made her feel warm inside to remember the last time they hugged or the chats they’d have under the stars.
Over the years she gained closer and closer to these memories, she grew more and more attached and connected to them, until she broke. After working for years as a hitwoman she was shattered. She no longer felt a need to spare people, killing was natural. She understood her bosses taste for blood, she understood the need for power.
She gained power and climbed their personal preferences, she might have climbed them a tad to high and fast for her own good even. Her head was in the clouds, the power corrupted her. She demanded freedom from this position and unwillingly they agreed to do so. Her love for Roxanne fueled her serge for power, in her messed up mind if she gained power she’d find Roxanne sooner. She’d find her missing half.
She arrived on the streets of Edoilia, gaining a following from her persuasive way of speaking. She gained a place of power on the council, eventually working her way to the top. She was crowned early in the season as the queen. Though she had gained all power she still lacked what she wanted, the kalon in her most treasured memories, Roxanne. She searched far and wide for the other half of her.
Her search was endless for the longest time, though. That is until the first council meeting of the five kingdoms. These meetings were between the royal families of the five kingdoms. She was the first to arrive, alone of course as she no longer had family as far as she was concerned. She was sent a wave of horror as she realized something, she was to sit in the chair the kalon who drove her and Roxanne apart sat. The evil queen, Ledell.
Her mind wasn’t exactly focused from her on out. She fought with her inner demons telling her “You have turned into Ledell. You drove Roxanne away.” until the other rulers arrive in which she was able to focus on something. The last to arrive were the Mole people. Queen Rossa and her family took their seats but she was caught off guard by who she had dragged in.
“Sister?”, asked a familiar voice.

After all these years of searching for her long-lost sibling, she'd been here under her nose all along. How could she be so blinded to what was here all along? I mean Neia and Leighton both worked inside the tunnels where Roxanne and her... er wife ruled. She nodded. The two of them ran to each other, embracing into a loving hug.
She'd thought that this would be it. She'd found her sister but no. This is the moment that they'd be reunited forever right? Wrong. Roxanne, her beloved sister in which she spent years, decades even, looking for, just for her to decline going back home with her. She invited her to her kingdom but that wasn't what she asked. She asked her to just drop the topic for a second and acutally listen to the other leaders, then she'd continue the topic. How could she do this? I mean she picked a meeting over her. After the meeting she pushed again, "Roxanne, please come home with me" she'd say. And then she'd reply "Negative, sister".
This was great! She'd wasted away her life for a rude sister who could not pay an once of respect to her, or her kingdom.

Many months later she still did not wish to come and spend time in her kingdom. It more or less got on her nerves.,. A lot. It pushed her off the edge she'd been standing on the cliff of. Her last straw to put it in other terms. On edge she'd made a few regrettable, rash decisions. She'd executed and locked everyone out who stepped more than a foot into her castle. She distanced herself from the world. She was convinced she would not break like she was longing to do ever since she'd met Neia, but she was breaking faster than before.
Being in power was adding more weight to an already overfilled scale, though. She did it. She did the unthinkable. She did the horrid decision she could, she declared a war. Days later she heard a knocking on the door. She answered it as always expecting to put a poor soul out of their misery, but no. She was greeted by her less than grand sister but she was not displeased like one may expect. She allowed her to speak but was not open to listen. She begged her to declare it void. Empty words to her at this point. Roxanne would not stop begging for the war to be a negative, for her real sister to return. But she was a stone wall who'd never break- oh who was she kidding, she loves Roxanne like a long lost sister and would never stop. They hugged once again, this time like the duo they were as children.
