I'm just gonna throw this out here.
I'm getting the feeling that a lot of people are posting their hatchlings/eggs saying "look what I found" or "All my hatchies <3" or something similar as a way of getting views. Not asking for clicks directly but it does look a lot like the spam messages asking for clicks. Could just be me being suspicious but you guys understand where I'm coming from I hope. If you don't agree than just ignore me, I'm just pointing it out, not to attack anyone ^^'

It depends on views mostly. It's not known how many views or clicks an egg needs before hatching because is depends on how many clicks and unique views it has. It's sort of like a ratio? The DC wikia explains it a little but it's confusing. You can check how long it takes for the next one to hatch on www.valleysherwood.com if you enter yoir DC username there it'll tell you when your next egg will hatch and the next hatchling to mature.

You're not the only one. The pages seem to go by extra quick now since people keep posting about eggs hatching or showing off eggs & hatchlings. It gets a little annoying, but what do I know? My patience is nonexistent, and no one else has posted, so it might just be me feeling this way. And you, of course :3

If I have a dragon that's currently a free claimable (via magi dragon), am I able to put it on a click site without anyone somehow grabbing it? I just want to make sure it gets views before it dies and my partner can claim it. I am also trying to make sure because I read that some people can refresh on an egg that is waiting to be shown in the AP if they have the link and can grab it. I know it's not in the AP but it's free game if anyone gets the trade link.

As long as you don't post the trade link somewhere, your egg will not be taken. However, if your egg hatches, the teleport will not work anymore and you'll have to create a new one with the newly hatched hatchling!
