I shiver and shake the warm air cold.
And every mistake I've made so far has left me skin and bones.
It's harder staring over than never to begin.
With blackbirds following me, I'm digging out my grave.
They close in swallowing me.
The pain it comes in w a v e s.
Chance stood solemnly in the grave yard, her figure was looming a top the thick brick wall that outlined each individual plot. She was solid black, only a shadow that loomed around the yard, and though it was not technically hers, Chance knew not many other dogs were even able to get in. But her slim and flexible build had allowed her to squeeze through the largest hole she had found in the old brick exterior, the hole was still small for most dogs though. Hazel blue eyes looked over the mass of graves, all rotting with flesh as the humans were slowly rotting underneath the earth. She didn't mind the smell by now, it was almost gone after spending much of her time in the cemetery.
The female flew down from the wall, and headed towards the outer side of the grave yard, struggling to slip through but eventually finding herself on the other side. She continued towards town quietly, passing through the deserted parts towards the more suburban area where the majority of the dogs seemed to roam.
