✦ He nodded his head as he hoped Light knew what she was doing. On the other hand, she would know far more than him anyhow. He hadn't even tried tea himself. Light began to stir the pot and all of it's contents. She said to him rather fairly, "I hope it tastes fine. Tea has a certain taste to people; either you hate it or love it." It was a 50/50 shot basically. Dark Shadow smiled at her and then eyed the pot. "Well, I will take that into account then Light. I thank you for your hospitality." The man lifted his eyes, feeling his previously tense nerves die down a little, he rubbed his shoulder and leaned back more. It was casual now and he waited patiently. Gazing about the room, as he did so, two people came to the entrance of Light's home. Jace and Rajani. There was a friction between the two that spelled concern, and after hearing the rogue's bit from before, Dark too -was a bit concerned. 'Well. Perhaps some...tea...would lighten it.' He thought and looked to their direction idly. "I was about to ask the same, It smells oddly familiar." The man glanced to Light briefly for the response when the other boy came forward. Jace.
"Um, may I join you two?" The lad asked rather bashfully.
Dark Shadow gestured to them with his head. A sincere look caught his eye to the both and then to Light. "I personally don't mind, but ask Light. This is her house." Checking to make sure the white haired woman was content with the idea, he smiled to them. "I hope you both like tea." He chuckled and folded his arms over his chest, but then caught the wound on Jace's cheek from the corner of a perceptive eye. It could have been delivered on his job. Or even by Rajani. Dark's crisp smile faded out into a more in depth concern. 'Perhaps some closure would solve our despites...and, it should be a good time to socialize and not worry about, our individual...issues.' ✦

She smiled a bit more easier, nodding to the table, "It's about done," she says, reaching for a thick cloth to grab the kettle with. She didn't know how to feel about the situation. Dark's ex. A light brown liquid poured out with some steam, a few leaves following, but it wasn't too much of a big deal. She sat across from Dark, holding a blue cup, looking at the two to join them. "Ah... If Azena shows up she won't have a cup," she says quietly, a bit concerned, but she hadn't shown up so far...

Ember placed her hand against the door frame, not liking to be in her human form. As unique as it was, it was now nothing but a burden to walk around with one leg. She was dying to go outside so that she could shift. I wonder what Dark's doing... She thought with a small hiss, hoping that he didn't go to her den to check up on her. That wouldn't be pleasant... She thought, looking back at Luck to see his expression revealing pain. She had the urge to ask him what was up, but nothing escaped her parted lips. She bit on her bottom lip for a moment before closing her mouth. "I really have to go, Luck..." She said, becoming slightly impatient.

Sage glanced behind her, seeing the ground slowly get swallowed by the rest of the horizon and then shifting into a different territory. She turned back around in alarm when Musky pulled on the reins, causing Dog to rear up. A small squeal escaped her lips as she frantically tried to get a good grip on Muscari's clothes, but her fingers soon slipped from him. She reached forward, kicking slightly before she felt a hand grab her shirt. She reached forward, barely grabbing on his clothes to keep her feeling at least slightly secure on the horse. Dog landed soon afterwards, dust clouding the air. She pulled herself closer to Muscari, her fear stricken face soon melted into calmness as she burst into laughter. "That was fun!" She giggled in a cheerful voice, her heart still racing.

Erin held his position, not planning on moving unless if it was to make a final blow. Within a heartbeat, Seth could have been dead. His corpse could have laid on the ground - cold and lifeless - but something kept King Gage from making a hasteful decision. Get away from me you weasel! You do not know when to bow - do you! Erin hissed as Seth drove his foot onto his feet. Is that it? A mere stomp on my foot - He thought, stopping when the mad man drove his elbow into Erin's gut. A small cough escaped his throat, blood filling his mouth. He shut his eyes as he unintentionally backed away from Seth, wrapping one arm around his stomach. His head hung low for a moment before he raised it, backing away from Seth. Blood dripped from his chin as he eyed his throne, and beside it, his bow with arrows near it. He looked back at Seth, a cruel smile carved on his lips. "Has no one taught you how to fight?" He asked, a cold chuckle escaping his lips.

⚜ As Erin had pulled back in stupor, his arm curled around his gut from pain. Seth came forward sinisterly. The Knight turned around and regained his hold on his weapon with pride. Blood trickled down the king's lips. The Lead Knight's mouth grew outward in his grin. It was here he could see the anguish in Gage, which made him recognize his victory around the corner. So he took his weapon to the side. Gage seemed to be plotting. The man had thrown an eye at his thrown and arrows.
'Not on my WATCH!' "Has no one taught you how to fight?" The chuckle drew to a close. Seth tightened and lurched forward before Erin went for the opening. He gripped onto Erin's head forcefully with both hands and yanked the man's entire head down, crushing it against a knee that he drove upward. The collision made a hard crack. Bloody-Bones drew Erin's head back up and collided it against his kneecap once more. Then he threw his weight forward and aimed to throw the king down to the ground. "I'll teach you to laugh at me!!" Shrieked the golden armored man as he pitched in with every fiber of his body. His arms squeezed round the king and he battered forward. The psychotic edge made Seth quick and wild. All of his adrenaline was pulsing through his body. He pushed down on Erin's foot with his weight that incase the tackle worked, Erin would fall flat on his back and from there he would take control. ⚜

✦ "It's about done." Light has informed the group and she lightly took up a cloth to pick up the scalding kettle. It sizzled and let off steam from the heat and hot water. She appeared chill with the idea and welcoming, but after she exhaled and smiled a little weaker, the Alpha had second thoughts. Dark watched her carefully. 'I wonder what's the matter.' He thought to himself. The idea was brushed aside however as she began to pour into the cups, the aroma gliding into the air with ease and filling her cave with gentle lavender. He looked to her as she sat in front of him. She appeared a bit quieter. "Ah... If Anezä shows up she won't have a cup." That would not do. 'Then, perhaps we should leave one for her.' If none of the others wished to give up their tea - preferably Jace - then he would oblige. Dark Shadow had the cup of hot tea out in front of him, he glanced to Light, and murmured out to the side. "Don't worry, we'll wait for her. But in the meantime...whatever do you talk about at these occasions?" The man had asked in a chuckle. "Nice weather we're having, eh?" It was a jest of course, he never talked about the weather, but was eager to start up some sort of conversation. 'Perhaps someone will have an idea...we need to ease this tension..' ✦

The sounds led to the throne room. Uneasily, she leaned against the wall, ignoring the painting she leaned against. Slowly, she unsheild the great sword at her hip, the three gems glittered on the hilt. She turned and her eyes widen at the scene. Blood. My King. A man. The man looked to be an important guard. She was no challenge for him; just mere killing; without her armor. "My King!" She charged forward, raising the heavy sword on the unknown man.
(Btw, Sapphire is is a killable character, all my characters are. But do you thing)

He hissed some words tainted with color loudly, unaware if Sage was listening or not, before checking to see if she was alright. Her big smile and bright expression triggered Musk, his eyes gliding wider before his face squeezed, a scowling gaze cutting through. "Fun!? If that is what you call fun, go ahead and spend some time in a cage with drago-"
Cutting himself off, he quickly realized she was a dragon herself, his face flushing at how stupid the sentence was. Coughing into his fist, he tossed the words and phrases aside before quickly forcing his precious Dog to trot away from the dangerous cliff side and to follow it, the woods facing their left as the open fields acted like a barricade. Yes, they were exposed, but it didn't seem like Seth would find him any time soon. He glanced back to check if anyone was following before continuing, Muscari struggling to keep his attention on the road ahead. The silence hung in the air for a moment before he interrupted it. "Do you know how to raise a child?"

It continued to grow, Luck having to coil into a ball as he fought against the excruciating pain. Biting his lips,
he was just barely able to respond, his body shuttering as he managed to tug the blankets around himself, forming a warm cocoon. The warmth seemed to hug him, cradling him gently in her arms. Sighing in relief, he was snapped back to the annoying and disastrous world when his arm started aching, a numb feeling starting to web and wrap around.

Her eyes looked between the three, smiling and nodding. "Ah, if it does come to it, we will just have to run and get another cup," she nodded to Jace, smiling lightly between Dark and Raj. She didn't know how to feel about Jace. "Mm. Well, I just... I usually make this much so I didn't want most of it to go to waste," she smiles at Rajani. She didn't want to hate her, really, since she didn't know her very well. But she did date Dark a while back, she somewhat remembers. Her eyes shifted between the two, seeing how they could like each other.

His eyes shut tightly, Luck's right hand hugging the odd scales with a strong rush of force. The scales were rather soft, but sleek. He glared at them, Luck still hiding in the shell forming a shell over him. He ran his finger down the scales, the pain seeming to slowly die out. The sore arm was pulled tightly to his chest, Luck taking note of the blue hue conducted by the scales. 'I have got to be dreaming right now. Did I eat some mushrooms? Maybe I got knocked out? Or this is all an illusion.' The blanket wrapped around himself seemed to heaten up, Luck having to post his head out of the protective shelter before his gaze returned to Ember, the pain still lingering in his beaten arm. "J-just leave already. Your wasting your time here." Grumbling, he laid back down on the floor, Luck's eyes closing as his scaly left arm was pulled close to his chest,
his right hand trying its best to massage it.

⚜ Too driven in his quest to usurp the throne, Seth hadn't noticed the new Knight entering from behind. He was engaged in duel and then out of no where - he was hit. The Lead commander's eyes went chaotic and he turned around very slow and ominious like. His smile curled into a toothy and nasty sneer. [b "My King!"[/b] She had shouted. She was trying to defend Gage.
Of course, this development. This would not do. He didn't want to take on two even though, he felt on top of the world. “I will be YOUR KING soon lady person! Know who's side you're on!” With that shouted in his defense, he flinched at her attacks and lashed out and gripped her sword by its blade without flinching. His armor made this possible while she, she had none. Bloody-Bones tilted his head to the side and grinned. "Help me girlie girl, and I will reward you! This sob does nothing!" ⚜

✦ Jace was the one to pass up the tea, which had been a relief (though now Anezä is now in a better plaaace D;) and he gratefully respected this decision. But the conversation had gradually made Dark think about Rajani's suspicion. He would not believe it, but it was no less concerning. Averting his eye, the man listened to Jace and Light exchange conversation. It was nicer than the awkward silence. "Dark, just act naturally." The white hair lad told him, making the Alpha smirk and pull back with a look. "Very well, but, I must warn you that is a dangerous path to cross." Chuckling, he took up the tea, feeling the warm shape of the cup in his hands. There was steam wafting across his face now and he lifted the cup to sip in the tea. It was sweet. It smelled sweet. He enjoyed it at first, but the aftertaste made him clear his throat and set it down respectfully. He would finish it but he heard a question being directed at him. It may have been rhetorical but he answered it anyway. "My, have you not had tea before Dark?" There was a smile curling Rajani's lips as she asked this. The man let air pass through his lips and he took another gentle sip. "Never. I regretfully say. This is quite...and enlightening experience. I thank Light for it." A grin surpassed him and he tipped his tea to Light playfully. Then Dark Shadow looked between the two woman as they spoke. It was gentle conversation. They had also exchanged smiles.
But meanwhile, he minded his own even though listening in and set the cup of tea to the aside. He threw Jace a look and he eyed his flushing wound and said. "So do either of you have some interesting stories while on the road? Be it you're assassins and all. It has been a while. " Dark looked from one to the other. 'And considering the way Rajani found me, I am certainly hope so.' The question was mainly directed at Jace, but he would take anyone here. ✦

☭ Taking his final leave. Krogoth began to walk from the little runt. His claws brushed against the soil as he did so, he left the hatchling to himself. But the little thing was bubbling in fury. He had not noticed in time. As the large yellow Saber dragon continued down the trail of forest and vegetation, the hatchling grabbed his dagger, ran full speed, and plunged it into his undamaged foot. The pain struck Krogoth immediately. He lurched around with a roar with eyes narrowed and flaming. "That was a STUPID move!" He roared, his voice thundering about the land.
The little runt bolted from him at high speeds, but bashing through the underbrush, Krogoth could relatively catch up. He seemed to have lost him for a minute. He took the time with little breath to look around and sneer. Smoke rose up from his nostrils. 'Damned disgusting vermin.' His eyes flickered around, then just out of the corner of his eye, he saw a blur of gold dash into a tight space. It was a small shelter so Krogoth would be unable to catch him in his dragon form. But, it was wood. The logs and such were no match to a full grown. Stepping to the bunch of decayed logs, he lowered his head, puffing smoke as he did so. His jaws parted and he grabbed hold of the large wooden mass, lifted it, and with every ounce of his muscles contracting, threw the log down and let roll out in the distance. This log made the hatchling visible. Debris and wood chunks scattered the area.
Krogoth narrowed his eyes, shifted into his human form and reached in and snatched the hatchling by the neck and lifted him right when he could. He eyed the dagger, tight in the runt's jaws, and slowly came in to take it from him. His hands gripped the handle fierily and his words were like ember's, hissing as they escaped his lips. "So. Think that was a smart choice, do you?" ☭
