I hope this competition is still going.

Animals, On this planet are having a really bad time. We all must play our part in protecting this plant and all its inhabitants. From not using Plastic Bags and plastic water bottles.that end up in land fill.and make there way into the oceans.then break down into smaller and smaller pieces to be eaten by Fish, Turtles Birds. and more. Who die because they have stomaches full of plastic.. Within the next 20 years this planet will lose over 1/3 of it animals due to Global Warming. Glaciers are melting at an extrodorniary rate.Which in turn affects the coast line and the animals that depend on that habitat to survive..What can I do about it you say..Small changes help...Dont drink out of plastic bottles for one. PICK up rubbish that you see lying on the ground in your area. Dont put the Heater on, put a jumper on. Dont use plastic bags help your parents to use recycled shopping bags. Recycle.Make it your job to seperate the Paper,Glass and Plastic that can be recycled. Dont throw rubbish on the ground.Join the local clean up day.or your local groups that plant trees back into the ecosystem. Put out water everday for the local birds. They find Clean water one of the hardest things to find.
And as you grow and become a consumer. Think about what you buy. Does this product harm the enviroment. Where is it caught and by who..Use products that use sustainable, Fishing or Farming.Solar Electric Cars. We all need to change. We have become a throw away society. Nothing is fixed any more we just buy a new one. We have more than we need. and waste too much. I alway think of the children who live on rubbish dumps in India. Raking through piles of rubbish. picking out plastic that is then sold to be reused. These small children then sleep under an ovepass on the ground at night. So please donate to charities or collect money to help a charity. There are lots that do good work. We need to think about our planet and ways we can help. I have just told you about a few things that you can change. Have a look on the internet for lots more ways to help. Thanks for reading.

My Deep Passion For Cats

Since 2014, I have had a deep and still blossoming passion for all cats, no matter what breed, colour or size. It all started with one book that my friend let me borrow. This book was the first book of the series ‘Warrior Cats’. Before this book came into my world and made it complete, I had a burning passion for horses. I wanted a horse with all my heart, but I had neither the time or money to spend on it. Once I started reading the first chapter of the book, I was hooked. Before I knew it, I was drawing cats and cat characters everywhere, including inside my school books.

This book was like a lead to a new world, so I took it. I begged my parents for a cat, and after months of hinting and whining, my efforts paid off. I welcomed the new member of the family warmly and drew pictures upon pictures of her. Now my whole life revolves around cats and their own existence. If I had not let my friend offer that book to me, where would I be now? Still pondering about what it would be like to own a horse? Still drawing horses every time I got hold of a piece of paper? I am so grateful to that series and what it has done for me and I can scarcely believe the joy that appreciating cats has given me. This deep love for cats, especially my own has immensely improved my art skills and has assisted me in my drawing, sculptural and painting techniques. Now, I get called cat lady and cat queen. It’s nothing to be ashamed of when you appreciate something so deeply.

I am applying for:

UR Malk
UR Bengal cat

Thanks for the opportunity!

Hello, felix.! I am so sad you are leaving ChickenSmoothie, but I know you must have your reasons. Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity!

𝑀𝓎 𝒫𝒶𝓈𝓈𝒾𝑜𝓃 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝒜𝓃𝒾𝓂𝒶𝓁𝓈

I would like to tell you about my deep passion for animals, and how thier prevalaence in my life has helped to drive myself to become a veterinarian. When I was younger, most of my days were spent out with friends I had made around my block, and was never introduced to animals, as I grown up in town for the first four years of my life. My neighbors and friends didn't have any pets.

My biological father left me and my mother when I was around a year old, leaving me to grow up without that father figure in my life. However, my mother met a man who she decided to start a relationship with. That man worked on a farm, and would take me with him to milk cattle and help clean the barns. I learned how to drive a tractor (With his help of course!), feed calves, milk cattle, and feed them as well. I would wake up early in the morning with him and go to the farm, excited when we got close enough to see the silos in the distance. He taught me that there were different breeds of cattle, like Holsteins, Herfords, Brown Swiss, and Jerseys. He also taught me how to handle cattle and behave properly when close to them. He even signed me up to show cattle in the "Little Britches/Breeches" program in our local 4H Fair. I still remember Willamina, the gentle, Brown Swiss cow I had showed. At that time, I knew I wanted to become a veterinarian.

Family members and even teachers would tell me how I would become a wonderful teacher, working with children and helping them learn. Since I am the oldest of four siblings, it was hard having to set a bar for them to reach, and to be someone they could look up to. I was never fond of children for that reason. Seeing children and even babies made me feel uncomfortable, and to this day it still does.
I become very nervous and become anxious when a child cries or whines, which makes me even less attracted to the though of dealing with children. With animals, I do not have to worry about wining and complaining (in certain aspects). Animals have always given me comfort, especially during times where my stress levels shoot through the roof, and I feel happier and at peace being around them.

The farm my father figure worked on was where I learned how to behave, to have respect and to be responsible. I learned about life, and even death, hard work and the rewards that follow. I learned how interesting animals were, and that each and every one had a special characteristic that came with them. To this day, I find these characteristics and the evolutionary purpose of them mind blowing, and I want to continue learning more about such information.

Sadly, the farm had to shut down after it went into debt, and I lost all of the friends I made during my time there. I continued to reside in town until my third sibling was born, where we moved to a farmhouse (which of course was on a farm!). I helped the farmhands there as well, feeding silage and hay to the cattle and bottle feeding the calves. For the 8 years we lived in that house, I learned how to drive tractors and plow fields. At night my siblings and I would climb to the top of the massive hay bale piles and watch as the deer came out when the sun set. While we lived in the farmhouse, I studied and tried hard in school so I could get closer to reaching my dreams and doing the things I am passionate about.

My mother divorced my step-father, and we had to leave the house a few years ago. I still miss the farms I spent most of my younger years on. I have expanded my passion into caring for endangered species and other exotic animals that need to be protected. Animals have helped me discover a whole new world of mystery and beauty, and I cannot wait to work with them and hopefully help continue their existence on this planet we call our home.

Thank you for considering the following piece:

My passion is for the improbable, yet somehow possible. Things which cannot be proved to exist.

I love fiction. I love stories. I love to lose myself in another world, or spin one around me, to catch others in its web.

They’re intangible, evanescent whispers of a forgotten time. Tales of a land ruled by dragons, a sky ruled by fairies, and an ocean which boils and disappears at the end of the Earth when one sails South. Or perhaps not stories, but dreams, which a person may be greatly enamoured by. After all, inventions such as the sewing machine came from dreams, so whyever shouldn’t they be important?

I love to make links between the concrete and the incorporeal, and try to guess at the gears which turned the minds of ancient peoples to create stories which last to modern days, which they believed with all their hearts to be true.

It fascinates me to see similarities between cultures. Here in the United Kingdom, we have many tales of fairies, or ‘fey folk’ which would do everything from helping around the house (brownies) to being equivalent to the Grim Reaper (Dullahan). And yet, despite these seemingly unique entities, there are extraordinary parallels with creatures all over the world, for example, the Japanese Yokai ‘Zashiki Warashi’ is like a brownie, and ‘Shinigami’ is like a Dullahan.

Folklore, the subconscious mind, links between cultures around the world are all one subject to me, and one I am extremely happy to be aware of. I strongly believe it is important to be aware of them and not let them be lost to the relentless mists of time, which swallow everything into a pit of vagueness and unclarity.

Instead, it is important to nurture the knowledge we have, and keep an open mind, lest we grow distant from the things we value most in society.

Thank you for reading.

Hello. Its always sad when someone leaves but that you for this opportunity!

I'm passionate about books. I always have been. When I was really young I didn't have a nap time I would instead listen to my mother read to me. When I started to read I loved it, finally I could see how the letters on the page made words that made stories! Later when I was 8 my mom had to go to a hospital out of the state. Reading was one of the only things that comforted me. I would read late into the night every word taking the stress away. It was a distraction, it was fun! And it still is.

I still use reading to escape. Before I wrote this I was reading, and if your wondering why my mom is at a hospital we think its because she's dehydrated. Reading is always something that takes away the everyday worries of life. Books can take you places real or fake while your still at home.

One thing about me is I hate going anywhere. I love just lying in bed wrapped in a blanket. Reading is a way to take me places without moving. When I'm reading I feel happy. I don't not normally feel so happy when I'm just in the real world. I love reading so much I want to be a librarian.

Books hold stories that came from someone else's mind. Once you read a book its like that story was told to you by whoever wrote it. I worry someday books will no longer be read and everything will be digital if that happens it won't be the same , but until that happens reading is beautiful art and stories that will stay around as long as one copy exists.

APPLYING FOR:
1 ║ Clydesdale horse
2 ║ |you're so deer to me|
3 ║ Patchwork dog

Listen to the bassline. The beat of the drums and how they match up to each strum on the guitar. Singing with a dull voice doesn't always take away the delight in listening to the music. I'm Xia, an instrumental enthusiast and amateur lyricist. My favourite band was first created in 1998 and released music in 2001 when they kicked off with their Tomorrow Comes Today EP and self titled album. Unlike most musicians, they don't actually exist. They are animations, each band member with their own story.

Gorillaz is known as the world's most famous virtual band. Their intricate and abstract lyrics have caught my interest. Mixing with simple but catchy basslines, a chorus of backing vocals and sometimes the melodica, each of their songs is its own masterpiece. As a lyricist, I found that a band like Gorillaz is good when it comes to inspiration. It was the second term of tenth grade when I was introduced to this band. My boyfriend had a list of songs he would continuously listen to either because of the strong basslines, or the songs had a certain set of lyrics that he could highly relate to. He showed me Clint Eastwood and Feel Good Inc. It hadn't been the first time I've listened to these songs, but it was the first time I genuinely enjoyed it. I've been listening to their music since then.

Political aspects of their music has certainly helped me understand the world a lot. Dirty Harry was a song written about war. Kids With Guns? About gun control. The Plastic Beach album was about pollution and waste in the ocean, and most recently, Let Me Out was written about the nightmare of living under a dictator (The lyrics used Obama and Trump's names.). I guess the end game is, I love Gorillaz as a band because of the diversity in their personalities, even as virtual characters. I love what they have taught me and tried to share with the world. Their views on generic music, and how they try their best to slip away from the norm: that is the type of music I live for. The musical history of Gorillaz is what I strive to leave behind when I have a career of my own.

It's because of them, that I believe I can truly become a lyricist. No one has to be able to sing in order to write songs, and even with many, many lyricists on the planet working behind famous artists, only Gorillaz has been able to stick that mentality into my head. I'd love to see them live in this lifetime, just so I can tell Damon Albarn how much his band means to me. How much their message means. Even if we are strange, wrapped in the same skin, even if we are discriminated against, even if we are weak and we can't find anywhere to stand, we are still human. Thank you so much for reading.

Sometimes. When You’re Young, Things are Different
Ya, I'm young. I'm 13, to be exact. But, I feel like I'm different from other people. I am passionate about writing, but it's not because I like to write. I usually hate writing, like the endless amounts of paragraphs you have to at school. But I love writing stories, the thrilling adventures the characters go on. The love, the hate, the wonder, like you’re in the story yourself. But, what's different, is why I love writing stories.

I have tons of ideas everyday, from big to small. I think of them all the time, every line someone says is a new line to a story. I feel like this is not normal, how I want to get lost in a world of fantasy. It’s so fun, the daring adventures the characters go through. I just love it!

I am applying for:
1. 2016-summer vacation
2. | Zodiacs |
3. Black Eyed Galaxy

Before I write my short essay, I'd like to tell you the pets I have entered for c: (also thank you for the generosity that you're spreading around!!)

    1. ѕυηвα¢к
    2. | ѕтσяє ρєтѕ |
    3. | ƒιηє ¢нιηα |

This is an essay about my love of music.

Music is practically my life. I can't go for more than five or six hours without listening to music. Maybe even shorter.
Music has been apart of my life for a very long time. Even if it's apart of dancing, or just listening to it in general. My dream is to become a musician. A singer and performer. I hope to be in a world surrounded by music, doing the thing I love.
Sadly, I'm incredibly shy. No one (except myself) has even heard my voice [solo] before. It's kinda nerve racking for me. Especially since my parents think that they control my life and have decided already on what I am to become. I'm sorry for ranting ;; I guess I just needed to.
    Back to the topic though.
I am in love with practically all music genres; classical, jazz, r & b, pop, KPOP. Oh god, don't get me started on kpop. If you get me started I'll never stop
But I've always dreamed of becoming a famous singer that sings American pop. I'd be next to the legends, doing what they have done. That would make everything I've been through worth it. At least, I hope it would.
When I sing, even if no one can hear me, I feel like I'm on top of the world. As if I am actually living to my fullest potential. I just hope that one day I'll be able to go on to that shady stage under the moonlit sky, the spotlight like a ray of sun beaming on my face, and being able to pour my heart out, and share my love for music to the world.
