Blizzardclan| Open and Accepting!

Life in the mountains is harsh. This is best known by Blizzardclan, a group of cats who live at the bottom of these mountains. Everyday they live with the threat of wolves, eagles, hawks, and even avalanches. Life here is harsh, but this place is home to the clan. Through everything they have learned how to handle it. They have learned to hunt in this barren place and they live in a cave, so any avalanche won't harm them as long as their in camp. Not only this, but they are known to have a thick coat, keeping them alive in these mountains. This clan has traits similar to a tribe such as their hunting, but they follow the path of starclan. Now it seems every winter is getting longer and colder while the summers become shorter. How will the clan rise to meet this challenge?

Smokeclaw poked his head into the nursery, a rabbit dangling from his jaws. The chilly mountain air ruffled his pelt before he padded inside. "Knock knock. I brought some food." He set it down in front of Dapplebriar.

She was curled up in her nest off in one corner of the camp. She turned over and yawned her tail lashing in her sleep.

The she-cat got to her paws and padded to the camp entrance. She might as well go hunting, the fresh-kill pile wasn't going to fill its self.

Blueshadow sorted through the herbs in her den, naming them off quietly. She had been trying her best to keep her storage well stocked, but that was hard in this cold weather. Luckily there were still herbs around here and she had learned the best spots to find them."We need some more comfrey."she noted, remembering how she had used a good amount on Blizzardfire, who had a broken leg. He was better now and back on warrior duties.

Blizzardfire woke up and gazed around the den."Its morning."he told himself before rising to his paws. He then walked into the main clearing of the cave, padding over to where a small puddle was. He began to breath on it, finally melting it and getting a drink. There was some drinking water, but that was deeper in the cave and he didn't want to go looking for it when he should be out hunting and patrolling for the clan.

Mothsong woke up and yawned, blinking sleep from her eyes. Her fur was fluffed up and she soon began to groom her pelt."My furs a mess!"she commented as she worked on getting out small pieces of dirt out. Yesterday she had come back tired and hadn't cleaned her fur, so now she had to put up with it. Once she was done she padded into the main clearing of the cave.

Alexander crouched down, eating a mouse he had managed to catch. Not far off was the border of Blizzardclan, though it was a wonder you could scent it in this snow. Perhaps their scent had gotten strong over time and thats how it remained. He pushed the thought to the back of his mind and finished his mouth before glancing across the border.

falconblaze yawned, having just rising from her nest. she sighed and then walked out of the warriors' den. it was nice being the deputy, she felt respected. of course, she still respected willowstar. she walked over to the fresh-kill pile and picked up a small vole. she finished her vole then walked off to look around the territory since she was bored. when she was out she caught the scent of a loner.

dapplebrair stretched out in her nest, not even feeling like getting up. she would give birth any day now and being so heavy with kits really weighted her down. she purred when she saw her mate. "smokeclaw! thank you," she purred to him. "im sure our kits will enjoy a meal," she said.

speckledfur had just awoken from a nightmare, it was about willowstar. he dreamed that his crush and leader had died in front of him and he had not been able to help her. he walked out of the warriors' den, his fur still bristling.

Leafpaw approached his mentor, watching her sort the herbs. He watched her quickly name them off, and heard her comment about the comfrey. "Hello Blueshadow, I'd be glad to get it for you." He met her eyes as he offered to help the hard working medicine cat. "I saw some last time I was out, but we had so much then." He said, remembering the place they had last been.

Streamstone had just gone on a hunting patrol in her jaws lay a squirrel covered in snow. The only cat she would want to share her prey with was Firenose. "Firenose!"She called out dropping the squirrel. "I got some prey for you. That is if you are hungry." Streamstone explained.
