He crouched beside the grave. He didn't want to leave but what else could he do? She was gone and he couldn't save her. He slipped back into the camp his tail dragging behind him.

She was asleep beside Mothsong. But suddenly she was somewhere else. It felt warm, soft fur pressed against her and she snuggled against it. It was the first thing she had felt when she was born. This was her mother.

Alexander watched his kits, soon making a decision. He rose to his paws and slipped out of camp, but he would not be out long as he didn't want to away from his kits.

Maplekit woke up from her nap, giving a small yawn. She then lifted her head, her calico colored fur fluffed up. At once she let out a small mewl and climbed on top of Mistkit, trying to find a better resting spot.

she padded through the forest. The she-cat soon scented another cat. "Who's there?" She meowed softly her eyes widening as she spotted a silver tabby tom.

She wanted to stay here with her mother. She felt a soft tongue rasping across her head. She purred in contentment. Why wouldn't she stay here?

"I was just wondering if you needed help." She meowed softly but decided not to follow him. "I haven't seen many cats around here." She continued timidly. She wondered if there was something bothering the tom.
