personality: When she first appeared, Shiemi was very shy and quiet at school. This is because when she was younger, she was awfully shy and sick, so she wasn't able to attend school, which made it hard for her to have friends of her own age. Her love for her late grandmother made her want to never leave her garden. She is also naive - most of her life was spent within the premises of her home, therefore she is rather clueless when it comes to typical adolescent experiences.
However, she is incredibly loyal, patient and hardworking; she would do anything for her friends, even if it would make others feel uneasy. In one episode, when she aimed of having friends at school, she humbly asked Izumo then, but instead of hanging out with her and having fun, Izumo took advantage of her kindness by always asking her to run errands, turning her into a servant. This came to an end when Rin enlightened her that friendship isn't supposed to be that way, respecting one another is more than loving a friend. Her exceptional kindness, immense willpower, and good nature has made her popular with the Exwires.
history: When Shiemi was young, her mother was very busy with the Exorcist Supplies Store, so her grandmother took care of her. This nurtured a close relationship between Shiemi and her grandmother. Shiemi helped her grandmother in their garden, and learned how and when to grow each plant. Her grandmother told her about the Amahara Garden, a garden created by god that has all the plants in the world.
When Shiemi was about 13 years old, Shiro Fujimoto brought Yukio Okumura, a recently qualified Exorcist, to the shop. Yukio was very nervous despite encouragement from Shiro. Shiemi's mother called her to come meet Yukio and, after saying hello, Shiemi fled because she was shy. Later, as Shiro and Yukio were leaving, Shiemi reappeared and gave Yukio a four leaf clover charm. However, she kept referring to Yukio as "sensei," which he found to be too formal since they were the same age. At that, Shiemi gave him the nickname "Yuki-chan," which made Yukio blush, but he accepted it.

A year or so later, her grandmother needed help covering the grapes, but upon hearing that Shiemi had planned to search for the Garden that day, she told Shiemi to go, but to be back before sunset. When Shiemi came back, she found that her grandmother had attempted to cover the grapes by herself and had been killed. Her guilt drove her to try to take care of the garden by herself, but there were some things she couldn't do on her own. She was approached by a Demon that had possessed a flower, and the Demon offered its help in exchange for Shiemi to stay in the garden forever.

History: Before Takeru's parents divorced, he lived with them and Yamato in Hikarigaoka. In 1995, he and his older brother witnessed the fight between Greymon and Parrotmon.

Takeru's parents divorced shortly after the fight, which was attributed to a terrorist bombing. On Yamato's request, his father took him while his mother took Takeru. Takeru moved with his mother to the Sangenjaya district of Setagaya.

hough Takeru wasn't a student in Yamato's school, it was arranged for him to come to summer camp with his older brother. They didn't even get to spend a single day together in camp before being thrust into the Digital World and becoming Chosen Children.

As the youngest of the group, Takeru was like a little brother to all the Chosen; though Yamato was the one most protective over him, the other Chosen also protected and helped him in every way they could. Though he was protected, he faced as many dire situations as the others, turning him into a more mature person.

One of the events that affected Takeru the most was the battle against Devimon. Devimon managed to defeat everyone's Digimon and was after Takeru and Patamon, who had yet to evolve at this point. Takeru's distress caused Patamon to evolve to Angemon, who was forced to sacrifice himself to bring Devimon down. Though he turned into a Digiegg and was reborn soon enough, Takeru was deeply affected by this, and had developed a desire to purge all evil ever since.

Before having to return to the Digital World to fight the Dark Masters, Takeru got to be with his father, mother and brother together, just like they were before the divorce. Though the atmosphere was tense, he didn't realize it and was glad to see his family whole again, if only for a minute. This meeting left many resentments in his brother's heart. Upon returning to the Digital World, Yamato became angry when he thought Takeru no longer needed him and decided to leave the group for a while. However, he returned after sorting his feelings, to Takeru's delight.

In the battle against Piemon, Takeru was left alone with Hikari and Patamon after Piemon turned everyone into keychains. However, Gomamon stole one of the keychains and threw it to Takeru before turning into a keychain himself; it was Yamato's keychain. Knowing that Yamato was with him encouraged Takeru and filled him with hope, which made Angemon evolve into MangaAngemon and become the key to defeating Piemon and saving the other Chosen Children.

personality and background

personality: Joe starts out as a panicky worrywart, to the point of him being a nervous wreck (in the dub, he has a tendency to feel "allergic" to everything around him). However, this stems from Joe's strong sense of responsibility. As the oldest of the group, Joe takes it upon himself to be the voice of reason and tries, often without success, to steer the other DigiDestined away from reckless action. He is often perceived as being a "stick in the mud" and his "safety first" attitude is often the source of teasing from others. Gomamon, his Digimon partner, teases Joe the most, as he feels he should lighten up and look on the bright side of things. However, for all their teasing, the DigiDestined respect and trust Joe because they know he can be relied on to be selfless and brave when things go south. Joe is an intelligent person and has practical knowledge far beyond most of the DigiDestined, including knowledge of first aid and astronomy. He is also extremely clumsy, and often finds himself falling on his face or dropping things. As a teenager, Joe learns to calm down and is much more mellow and levelheaded, though he is every bit as clumsy as before.

Joe comes from a long line of medical practitioners, and is the youngest brother of three (two in the dub). His eldest brother, Shin, studies medicine, while his second older brother Shuu, studies anthropology under Sora's father's tutelage. In the dub, his brothers were merged into a single character named Jim Kido.

In 1995, Joe's family lived in Highton View Terrace. One night, while speaking to Izzy on the phone, he witnessed the battle between Greymon and Parrotmon. Digimon Adventure This event caused him to be chosen as a new DigiDestined. Joe spends much of his first week in the Digital World looking for humans who could help them in this strange world, and trying to steer the younger DigiDestined from the path of recklessness. When he cannot settle an argument between Tai and Matt about climbing Infinity Mountain, he decides to go in the middle of the night and climb it himself before the others to see if it's safe. When he and Gomamon are attacked by Unimon, Tai and Sora arrive to help them, but their Digimon are defeated. To save his friends, Joe tries to remove the Black Gear controlling Unimon himself, but when he fails, Gomamon Digivolves to Ikkakumon and defeats Unimon, saving everyone. When Devimon separates the DigiDestined, Joe and Gomamon land in the middle of the sea, and end up being fished out by Sora and Biyomon after a close encounter with Ogremon. When they arrive at Overdell Cemetary, Joe is delighted to find more humans, but he quickly discovers that they are Bakemon in disguise who want to eat them. When the Bakemon fuse into one giant Bakemon and threaten to defeat Ikkakumon and Birdramon, Joe remembers a chant he learned to give himself luck during exams, and uses it to depower the Bakemon. After Tai and MetalGreymon disappear following the battle against Etemon, Joe leaves the other DigiDestined in search of Tai. Joe and Gomamon stop to eat at a diner, but when the cashier doesn't accept the currency Joe has, the two are forced to work to pay for their meal. Matt and Gabumon arrive later and come to their aid, trying to help them at work. However, Joe's clumsiness and DemiDevimon's trickery cause them to gain more debt and work more. Matt eventually grows tired of this and lashes out at Joe, but when Matt's brother T.K. is attacked by Vegiemon, Joe puts himself in danger to save him because Matt and T.K. are his friends. This causes Matt's Crest of Friendship to activate and allows him to save Joe. Forget About It WereGarurumon's Diner

When they are in the Real World, Joe goes back to his routine of attending cram school. When he gets a bad grade, he is held back, causing him to be away from Odaiba when Myotismon spreads his digital fog and cuts the island off from the rest of Tokyo. Flower Power After trying all night to get back home, he and T.K. decide to depart on Ikkakumon's back. En route to Odaiba, they encounter MegaSeadramon, who knocks them off Ikkakumon's back. Joe is able to save T.K. from drowning at his own expense, but because he was able to put T.K.’s safety before his own, his Crest of Reliability activated, allowing Ikkakumon to Digivolve into his Ultimate form, Zudomon. After the DigiDestined returned to the Digital World and Mimi loses the will to fight due to the untimely death of a few close Digimon allies, Joe decides to be the one to stay with her so she wouldn’t be alone. The Ultimate Clash Once they are alone, they encounter the wounded Ogremon, and Joe gives him medical aid at Mimi's request. When the newly evolved MetalEtemon attacks them, their old friend Leomon comes to their aid as SaberLeomon. Etemon's Comeback Tour However, in a later battle against MetalEtemon, SaberLeomon is gravely injured, though he helps Zudomon defeat MetalEtemon before he perishes. Saddened but inspired by Leomon's sacrifice, Joe follows Mimi as she decides to gather all their Digimon friends to help them in the final battle again Piedmon. Ogremon's Honor

Later, having gathered reinforcements, Joe and Mimi encounter Elecmon at the ruined Primary Village, possessing Matt's harmonica. This inspires Joe to leave Mimi with the other Digimon while he searches for Matt. Joe's Battle After finding the other boy and returning his harmonica to him, the two find T.K. and Sora, and help Sora escape from a pit of darkness she had fallen into. When Kari finally came home, she actually apologizes to Tai for not playing soccer correctly, only focusing on her own guilt; this caused Tai to feel outrageous guilt for endangering her life, and stuck with him for years.

Marcus isn't a good student, as he would rather fight or eat than study.
Brief History: Many years ago, his father Spencer Damon leaves alongside Kurata and DATS members to explore the Digiworld, leaving Sarah to fend for herself with his sister Kristy.

In the present day, he accidentally met Agumon while the latter are lost in Human World, annoyed by the Digimon's wild nature, he fights it by fists, which ended in a draw and drawing admiration by the Digimon, calling him 'Big Brother'. Agumon follows him anywhere, even in his own house, shocking his mother, but accepts the Digimon in her home, despite his protests.

He became a member of DATS after meeting Yoshino "Yoshi" Fujieda and Thomas H. Norstein alongside their respective Digimon and forms an unstable team, with him and Thomas bickering among themselves, but united when facing challenges.

History: Wes's past is never fully explained. He has apparently been with his Pokémon, Umbreon and Espeon, for years. Wes joins Team Snagem for unclear reasons, but then leaves.

Before he does, he plants a bomb to completely destroy Team Snagem's headquarters and steals the portable version of the Snag Machine - a device that can turn Poké Balls into Snag Balls - which can be used to catch Pokémon already owned by other Trainers. In the process Wes reveals the hidden base to the police of Orre.

Equipped with this device, Wes wanders around until he rescues Rui from some kidnappers in Phenac City. Using his high-tech hovering motorcycle to travel around Orre, Wes and Rui set off to uncover the conspiracy behind Cipher, Team Snagem, and the Shadow Pokémon.

Wes's actions eventually attract the attention of both Ho-Oh and Celebi.

However, shortly after defeating Cipher and snagging/saving most of the Shadow Pokémon, there are reports that "Wes" started attacking people with a Shadow Togetic. Wes, with the help of News reports and Kids Grid, manages to track down the impostor to Outskirt Stand, where he is in the middle of attacking one of the people nearby. He then battles and defeats the impostor and snags his doppelgänger's Shadow Togetic. Afterwards, the impostor is revealed to be an ex-Cipher Peon named Fein who had wanted revenge on Wes for shutting down Cipher, and declares his success in ruining Wes's reputation. However, Orre forgives Wes after realizing their mistake.

His whereabouts after the events of Pokémon Colosseum are unknown. His and Rui's heroic acts in bringing the first Shadow incident to an end are remembered by people in Orre in Pokémon XD, though their names are not mentioned to Michael.

➳personality; is one of the original four Cipher Admins. A cruel and callous young scientist, he is long on ambition and short on emotion. He is obsessed with the idea of creating an insanely powerful Pokémon at any cost which he managed to do with amazing results.
➳history; Ein is the brains behind the process that creates Shadow Pokémon. His research, the "Ein Files", have are found across Orre wherever members of Cipher have been present. He creates Shadow Pokémon in a secluded lab in the middle of a desert, and then has the Pokémon shipped to Venus and Miror B. via The Under Subway. He also does everything in his power to keep the Shadow Pokémon he creates from being purified. He tries to have Rui kidnapped, the Relic Stone destroyed, and the Time Flute stolen. Ultimately all these plans are foiled by the player.
Eventually the player confronts Ein at the Shadow PKMN Lab. Despite him possessing a Shadow version of the Legendary Pokémon Raikou, Ein is still defeated. Even in defeat, Ein takes solace in that he has already created the ultimate Shadow Pokémon, and had it transported to his boss.
Ein appears again at the Realgam Tower. The mad scientist had one of the ID Badges to the tower's main entrance. After being defeated again, Ein hands over the Ylw ID Badge and promptly leaves the tower.
After Cipher has been defeated, Ein appears as an opponent at the Deep Colosseum.
