are common insults I get on a day to day basis, I can't help the way I am, I am different, my parents love me regardless of how i look, but i don't feel accepted in society at all, until one day i meet someone who will change my life forever.

It was 17th of March 2017, i was sitting in my Graphics class alone, as usual, getting spit balls spat at me, I heard the classroom door creak open slightly and from the door emerged the most goregous viscet I had ever seen,
"Class, we have a new student who will be joining us today, her name is Valentine",
I was feeling feelings I had never felt before, but i managed to look back down at my work before they started to blush,
"Valentine, go find a seat",
Valentine looked at everyone, then looked at me and cautiously moved toward the seat next to me, everything was silent until a bully yelled out,
"Awww look at the cute couple",
everyone but Valentine and I laughed, we looked at each other while the teacher was telling everyone off and we got to talking,
"Hey im Valentine",
"Im Harcos",
I replied proudly,
"Did you just move here?",
"Yes actually, from France",
"Thats an awful long way, I could show you around campus if you'd like",
I replied with a smile,
"That'd be lovely, thank you",
She smiled back,
"No worries, could I take a look at your time table?, I don't want you getting lost on campus",
"Sure",
She hands me a piece of paper, I scan over her time table,
"Oh cool!, we have the same classes",
"Awesome!, that makes it so much easier!,"
The bell rang, we packed up our things and went to interval, we sat down on a bench together an got out our lunch from our bags,
"So Harcos, why was everyone picking on you in class back there?",
"Oh its because im transgender, they dont like it and find every pun in the book about it",
"Wow, ive always admired transgenders!",
"Wow really!?",
"Yea, im a big supporter of them, im against the bullying, I really despise it",
"You are now my best friend!",

we laughed.

Weeks and weeks had passed, all the bullying seemed to stop when i talked to her, like everyone in the world had disappeared,
I haven't spoken a word to my parents about her, all they would do is ask questions, my life was getting better and better, she is my one and only best friend, who brightens up my life and makes it better. My heart beats faster around her, I even blush at times which she notices and laughs about and so do I, its actually really funny to think about, I don't really know whats happening with my feelings but it always is nice to laugh.

Bzzzz, Bzzzz,
"Oh its my phone, I wonder who it is",
*Unlocks my phone, 1 new text message!*,
"Hey Harcos, can we talk?",
*I wonder what about*,
"Sure, meet me at the park in 5 minutes",
"Alright see you then",
I walked downstairs and out the door, it was a nice crisp autum day and I was going to see my best friend,
"Harcos over here",
I looked to see Vale and I walked over,
"Hey vale, what did you want to talk about?",
I couldn't stop gazing at the rose flower crown on her head,
She looked into my eyes for a few seconds, kissed my cheek and ran off,
Harcos ran home to their parents, they finally felt confident enough to tell them their long kept secret.

Harcos approached the door cautiously, his mother a beautiful pink and magenta viscet was in the kitchen and their father a grey and green viscet sitting on the couch with a cup of cocoa,
"Mum, dad",
Both of them turned to face them,
"Yes sweetie?",
Their mother replied with her head tilted slightly,
"Theres something I have to tell you",
Harcos said rubbing their shoulder nervously, they pause for a little and sighed,
"I-I'm transgender....",
Their mother raised a hand over her mouth, their father however walked over and hugged them,
"It takes a lot of guts to say that, I'm very proud of you",
"Thanks dad",
They smiled. then looked over at their mother who was shocked,
"Ma?",
She started to cry repeatedly sniffling in between breaths,
Harcos ran over to hug his mother, she hugged them,
"I'm so sorry, I-I shouldn't of spoken so ill about transgenders and make you afraid to tell us",
"Its alright ma",
There was a slight knock on the door, they got up and went to check who it was, it was Vale,
"Hey Harcos....",
She said nervously, they put their arm around her hip and pulled her close and whispered,
"I love you Vale",
They kissed.
